Now before you pathetic Rock fanboys go crazy at me, hear me out.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

The Rock is said to be the leading candidate for the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame in California. It's more up to Rock, if he wants it, and how his schedule goes.

This clearly shows that The Rock is retiring next year.

No wrestler in history has ever wrestled after he got inducted into the Hall Of Fame, maybe one match max. (ie. Ric Flair, Roddy Piper...)

So let me get this straight, after leaving for 11 years, he comes back, works 2 crappy WM matches with an even crappier wrestler, leaves for 2 years then comes back to retire?

The first one was kind of ok I guess. The second one sucked badly, extremely predictable garbage.

"Passing the torch" to a guy who had the torch for about a decade lol.

What is wrong with wrestling ONE match a year for like the next 5 WrestleManias?

The Rock is 41, still young to retire.

IMO the perfect age for retirement is like 46 or something like that, kind of like Shawn Michaels.

But Rock is only wrestling ONE MATCH PER YEAR!!

He can still go after his mid-40s.

Is it really THAT Impossible for him to not show up at WrestleMania?

There are plenty options for him at WrestleMania if he can't show up that much:

Scenario 1:

They can have the tag team champs / young talents attack Roman Reigns every week on RAW.

Then Triple H or the RAW GM (they still do that?) can announce those two wrestlers will face roman reigns and a Mystery Opponent , an opponent of his choosing for the tag titles.

That opponent (the rock) appears on RAW before WM or at WM.

For the next upcoming weeks, Rock doesn't show up on raws, roman reigns ends up defending the tag titles alone, he loses the tag titles.
Rock shows up the next week after roman loses the tag titles and roman reigns beat him up badly keeping him off tv for the next road to wrestlemania where they will do ROCK VS REIGNS.

That would be a reigns heel turn or something. He cuts a promo the next week saying Rock became a big hot shot or something and doesn't care about his samoan family anymore.

That would be an epic storyline because:
-It would keep Rock off the main event scene.
-The two tag champs / young talents wrestling The Rock would benefit their career.
-Rock doesn't have to show up a lot nor wrestle a lot.

Scenario 2:

CM Punk can become the WWE champ by next year (WM31). Bryan wins the rumble. Rock invokes his rematch clause.

The Rock vs CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan would be a GREAT IDEA.

Rock doesn't have to be there every week, bryan and punk can get that covered.

Rock is a HUGE draw.

WM25 and WM26 didn't get over 1 million buyrates. The Rock comes back for the next 3 WMs, they all get over 1 million buyrates.

Punk and Bryan can't main event because they're not WM draws but The Rock is.

Both Punk and Bryan would main event WrestleMania and The Rock being there would draw big WM buyrate.

During the match, Bryan and Punk can put the big jabroni through the announce table and wrestle for like 20 minutes in the ring.

The big jabroni rests most of the match and comes back the last 5 minutes.

In conclusion:

If Rock retires and goes into the HOF next year that would be the biggest joke ever.

As a guy who attended every wrestlemania the last couple of years, I would be glad to go to the HOF next year and boo the big jabroni.

ROCKY SUCKS!

You spent all day yesterday waxing poetic about The Rock being so much greater than Austin, even going to the level of calling Austin a "glorified jobber".

You are a "pathetic Rock fanboy" if there ever was one.

Says the Daniel Bryan hater lol.

Anyway, that Cena fanboy / Rocky hater was trying to act tough saying Austin was better than Rock. He even said himself that he only watched AE episodes on the internet. Hence why I called Austin a jobber, he was annoying me however I don't mean it, I've always liked SCSA despite some of his fanboys being annoying.

I believe The Rock is better than Austin overall as a wrestler however that doesn't change the fact that Austin cares / cared about his wrestling career.

The Rock doesn't care about the way he wants to end his wrestling career.

Look at Taker, for example, he wants a big last match against Cena in his hometown.

Rock just wants to end his career quickly, his wrestling career is like a cancer to him that he just wants to end it. He just wants to go away.

Speaking of which, imagine if The Rock ended his career with Brock Lesnar, what a joke that would be.

If I knew that Rock would be like this in the future, I would've cheered Taker all these years and not the big jabroni.

Can't believe I wasted all these years on supporting a jabroni like rock, all the merchandise I bought for nothing, I'm throwing all of them away if he retires next year.

The Undertaker who is 7 YEARS OLDER than Rock will retire after him, what a joke.

IF Rock is retiring next year and finally going into the Hall of Fame then he will most probably wrestle another match at Wrestlemania 31.

I would prefer Rock vs Brock, as Rock himself said that it was planned to happen this year. They can bill it as Rock vs Brock - II - "The Rematch", "13 Years in the Making" or something like that. That way Rock gets his win over Lesnar and retire. Rock doesn't need to be involved with Reigns. There are current generation stars like Cena etc who should pass the torch to him, not a guy from the Attitude era. Rock already passed the torch to Cena last year. A win over Lesnar and then finally being inducted into the Hall of Fame would be the perfect end to the career of one of the greatest of all time.

Why should The Rock retire with a joke like Brock Lesnar?

I'm sorry I like Lesnar, I really enjoy every time he shows up but he's a nobody.

Where does Lesnar rank among all time greats? He's not in my top 50.

Austin retired with Rock, Flair retired with Shawn, Shawn retired with Flair, etc.

I'd much rather see Rock retire with Hunter or Jericho or Taker. Or someone who is going to be the future: Reigns or Bryan but there's a risk here, what if Bryan or Reigns got injured / left or whatever happens and they're forced to retire a year after or something.

I see how you make threads which end with "SUCKS!!!" and preface it by something controversial or nonconformist. Earlier it was "Why the Undertaker and his streak...SUCKS!!" . So, this is your style. Imagine whatever would piss people off, and make a thread out of it, and then you call me a troll for bashing Daniel Bryan and his fans' idiotic chants?

Either ways, in reply to the OP, it's the Rock's life, only The Rock himself has a right to decide whom he wants to wrestle for his retirement, IF he wants to wrestle again, or whether he wants a typical WWE retirement with all the festivities and a well-deserved HOF induction next year, or any year(which likely would be done by some Hollywood star like Arnold, or if it's wrestlers, then Roman Reigns should.)

As far as your Rock hatred, yes you're absolutely right in that The Rock's two wrestlemania matches were tedious, boring and predictable at best and his last run especially was a disgraceful slap in that it ruined a very amazing CM Punk title run, in which most of us(hopefully) were invested for 400-some days.

And again, you're no one to bash the Rock because he decided to quit wrestling, return, and retire. Neither is any of us. For all we care, the Rock can go and play golf if he wants to. That doesn't mean he "sucks". Sure, his last run did "suck". Blame him for that, or the fans, or creative , or John Cena. I will blame WWE because they could've done a far better job by having CM Punk inserted. What a great triple-threat it'd have been and that way, you can hide the Rock's in-ring shortcomings because of not having been wrestling regularly for years.

And no, Rock going to the HOF next year, or any year will make nothing but an absolutely deserved, amazing reward for an amazing human being and individual, for relatively few shortcomings of his as a Wrestler(if, any) which we had to suffer .

Why should The Rock retire with a joke like Brock Lesnar?

I'm sorry I like Lesnar, I really enjoy every time he shows up but he's a nobody.

While I agree that The Rock going out against Lesnar is underwhelming, considering that Lesnar is little more than a high paid mercenary that couldn't care less about wrestling, the notion that Lesnar is "a nobody" is ridiculous.

Brock Lesnar was in WWE for less than 2 years during his first run but, frankly, he accomplished a hell of a lot. He carved a pretty memorable niche for himself during that time that a lot of people still talk about today. Lesnar was a 3 time WWE Champion, won the Royal Rumble and was King of the Ring. He also cleanly went over some big names, including some of the biggest in the history of the business like Hulk Hogan, Rob Van Dam, Big Show, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Kurt Angle, Edge, The Undertaker and The Rock. He went over The Rock, in fact, to win his first WWE Championship.

I'm not a massive fan of Lesnar or The Rock. If somebody hates either one, more power to 'em. As for where he'll stand among the "all time greats", who can guess? But...c'mon...., let's not distort rock solid fact with personal dislike and call Brock Lesnar a nobody. I'm not a fan of the Ultimate Warrior, but I'd be a fool to declare him a nobody just 'cuz I'm not into the guy.

Correction-Shawn retired with UNDERTAKER. And you say you like Lesnar and enjoy everytime he shows up, and then you say HE'S A JOKE? Do you ever mean anything you say? Imagine someone saying Santino Marella is a JOKE, but he should win the WWE WHC. Only in that case, Santino IS indeed a joke. But lesnar? You're stupid. Next thing you know, after all your Undertaker SUCKS, Rock SUCKS , tommorow you're going to say Sting SUCKS, Goldberg SUCKS, we all suck. You're the biggest troll I've seen around here.

How am I a troll? I explained my point of view on the situation.

IMO Taker should've retired at WM28, it was perfect time for retirement with the End of An Era match.

And now he has a perfect opportunity: 22-0 at WrestleMania XXX.

No Rock to main event, no punk to complain about not main eventing, he should take this opportunity.

Tell WWE he wants to face Cena at this year's WM and end his career.

Will he really continue to wrestle until he's 51-52?

The next milestone for The Streak would be 25-0.

As for The Rock, he said he came back and "will never leave again".

Then he explained it by saying he'll be a part timer wrestling at Wrestlemania each year.

He said he won't be at this year's WM so maybe he'll be wrestling once at every two WrestleMania for the next year.

And now he's NOT WRESTLING AT ALL AFTER WRESTLEMANIA 31? WTF??

The age for retirement is in mid-40s, maybe 50 max. And that's for normal people / normal wrestlers who wrestled all their career.

Considering Rock left FOR 7 YEARS, he should've at least wrestle ONE match, ONE MATCH A YEAR until he's 46 or something.

Yeah. I might have overreacted but I don't see why people keep saying Rock should come back next year and retire by beating Lesnar.

I don't think Lesnar is worthy of ending The Rock's career.

I'd much rather see Triple H end Rock's career or Taker or Jericho or Reigns or Bryan.

As it turns out, you're just a lonely dude with an empty life that never leaves his comfort zone and you prefer to troll the internet by hating on guys that are obviously very popular. You're not only doing that to get attention, which is something you don't get in real life but the main reason you're doing this is to escape your bitter reality of failure and isolation. Mirrors are probably your own worst enemy. I sincerly hope that one day you'll find peace.

This is in no way, shape or form a response to the subject of this thread.

You might want to consider removing your comment or else I will report you for "trolling".

As far as I'm concerned, anyone who thinks The Rock sucks, is an idiot. He's jobbed to guys, worked his way up through the ranks, won naysayers over, put on entertaining matches, made countless entertaining promos, has quite a ridiculous amount of highlight moments, became a household name, and has even promoted the company after semi-retirement. Given everything he's done and accomplished, if he sucks, then (in this Bizarro world you've crafted) Hogan, Austin, HBK, Undertaker and Cena are absolute shit.

I think the only thing worthy in the WWE of The Rock's time away from filming, would be a career-ending match against Triple H at Wrestlemania. It should be teased for months leading up to it and I'd want the match to be the end for both men. It should be an epic match with a ton of "WTF!!" spots and it should end in a draw without either man able to continue. The storyline should play up their history in the company and their past feuds in the Attitude Era. Their could even be a Survivor Series match between Degeneration X (Triple H w/ NAO) VS Nation of Domination (The Rock w/ Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown) The feud should also touch on how The Rock gained all of the fame in his career and how Triple H gained the business/industry. Stone Cold could work his way into their feud becoming the bi-partial special guest referee of their WM match. Seeing as how he has had a storied kayfabe past with both men.

So no, I don't want to see Rock VS Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, Cena, Sting, Undertaker, or anyone else other than Triple H. I think both men need and deserve a cool ending to their wrestling careers. If Edge got to leave on top, both of them certainly deserve to.

Also, I think it's so stupid to have that match in their back pocket and not capitalize on it.

The Rock should be in the Hall of Fame regardless if he doesn't wrestle again. He is a top quality superstar and one of the best of all time.

If he wrestles again then great. If not then that's ok too. He has had a great career and has done extremely well in Hollywood. There is no reason to wait until he "retires"; they may as well put him in the HoF as soon as possible.

why you people are fight each others.
Rocks HoF is just a rumor.
If rock inducted into HOF next year is not meaning of he will retire fro wrestling. He wrestled 1 or 2 matches per year. He is not a active wrester. He is now semi retired wrestler. He is not a passing torch material. rock is a money making wrestler so wwe use him by making a big matches or dream matches.
So wwe makes matches whenever rock accept to work with them.
One of the big matches that left in rock is
Rock vs taker at mania
Rock vs brock at summer slam or survivor series or royal rumble.

No more wrestlers like bryan, reigns, hhh, sheamus, batista, randy are not big matches.
Rock vs punk is only happened for storyline purpose.

I definitely agree.

It would've been better if they did the "End of an Era" match with Triple H and The Rock and Austin hugging as it would've made more sense.

Triple H also faced The Rock in Rock's first match.

Truth hurts. At least you still have the rest of your day to escape it, and troll some more.

Here we go again. Things are not always going to go the way you want to. Just because something hasn't gone your way, doesn't mean it sucks. It means you suck, if anything. You suck at accepting what has already happened, and you suck at coping with your lack of ability to change anything that WILL happen. Go ahead and report me. This place doesn't mean nearly as much to me as it does to you.

Lol it's okay man, it doesn't matter if you report me and remove my comments. I got message across to you and you read it. Seriously though, I hope you get better.

The Rock (imo) is the greatest of all time. I consider it an honor if he wrestles ever again, he certainly doesn't need to. If Austin, hhh, or goldberg ever had the success or opportunities that the Rock has in hollywood they would take them in two seconds. They just aren't as talented acting wise. I cant believe all the negativity the Rock has gotten after his return. He didn't need to. Hes the man.

Also if undertake wants to wrestle until hes 70 let him. Hes still entertaining. ill take him over punk or bryan any day. I'm just not a fan of those little dudes. Maybe I'm just getting old..............

I got message across to you? lmao. WTF does that even mean?

Anyway, I made my point extremely clear.

If you can't handle criticism of fake wrestlers then you need some help.

I meant to say " I got MY message across". But I guess desprate keyboard warriors like yourself always resort to pointing out typos and errors because they can't respond. Oh well, I hope you will find peace one day. Keep doing your thing there little man.

Desperate* lol.

I hope you find peace too and maybe you can stop being such a fan boy for wrestlers lol.

Yeah.

I consider Rocky the G.O.A.T. as well.

I was excited when he said he's coming back and never leaving again.

I thought he'd be there every year for one blockbuster match at WrestleMania.

After leaving for 7 years, he's FINALLY returned and now he wants to retire just after two Wrestlemanias?

I want him to wrestle maybe 4-5 more Manias then retire.

I'm sorry if this sounds offensive but Triple H should not end The Rock's career. Despite their kayfabe history, Triple H is not on The Rock's level. And this is not being a Rock ass kisser or a Triple H hater but I'm pretty sure most people can agree that Triple H was never THE man like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, etc. This is in no way me bashing Triple H because great stars like Taker and Randy Savage were never THE man.
