Why the interest now?

Occasional Pre-Show
So with the word that Hogan is likely leaveing TNA lots of people suddenly seem interested in what he will do next. No one gave a damn when he went to TNA. Everyone has shit all over the product he put out and more so shit all over him for being there in the first place. Now that he may be leaving the WWE question keeps comming up. So my question is if no one cared before what Hogan did why care now?
Are people really interested in what he does or is this just another case of WWE kool-aid?

I could care less what Hogan does as well. I just hope tna continues their road shows. But people DID give a damn when he went to TNA. He didn't necessarily shit on the product but it certainly has tried to be like WWE. I swear there has Ben a ton of Hogan threads lately.

What Hogan does will benefit him and thats it. TNA is on their own now.

Speak for yourself when you say no one because I have always like Hogan and been interested in what he is involved in. I mean that only in connection to his wrestling involvment though.. I couldn't care less about reality shows or his personal life. I would like to see Hulk back in the WWE where he belongs. I can see why many people dislike him and his actions over recent years but as sombody who got me into pro wrestling and one of my first wrestling childhood heros I am always interested. I do agree with you to the extent that many people here are fickle but on the same level many are not.

Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest self promoters going, so it's really not that unusual for people to be talking about him. The problem is that people aren't interested in anything he does except wrestling, because it's the only thing he's good at. In TNA, he hasn't done that, and so people aren't buying into him. Now people think he might actually wrestle one more date, there's a surge in interest. I don't expect it will last though, once it becomes apparent that he won't be getting in the ring again.

Hogan is the most famous wrestler ever. Of course people are going to care about what he does next. The reason people didn't care much about him joining TNA is due to a low amount of promoting the product as well as his decision to join them. If he returns to WWE then you better believe that it will be heavily promoted. Whatever his decision may be, many people are curious because of how famous he is. They want to know what the biggest name in wrestling history plans to do after Bound For Glory.

no no no no no no no no...

look I've watched wrestling since the early 90's... (91-92... something around there)... and I do NOT want hogan to come back to the WWE... He had his moments there... he had his comeback. he had his random appearances... I'd be happy seeing Hogan retire and never have to work again (same as I would feel for Flair....)

I just hate seeing wrestlers from that era continue to wrestle long after their prime, and long after they can put on decent matches (in Hogan's case, but not really Flair's.. at least since I last saw since I don't really watch TNA)... Again if they have to continue working due to money problems I will not fault them for continuing, but Hogan has enough money (at least I think he does) that he shouldn't continue unless he absolutely wants to... and even then he shouldn't be hired by the WWE...

Well when I said I would like to see him back I definitely did not mean as an active in ring wrestler. Working backstage..helping young talent. Making one off appearances on TV shows (not too many but I would like to him every once in a blue moon).

Do you think he could work as a commentator?
