Why do fans think the characters of Adam Rose and Fandago are gay when they're not?

Gay was likely used as the term in the context of "lame" or "stupid." Not sexual orientation. It's like "That guy is such a ******." No he isn't really ******ed.

I'm surprised some people even still use "gay" as a put down. It's pretty outdated.

not as outdated or offensive as using "******" as a put down..

I've always thought Rose was more of a gay character than Fandango.. Either way neither are very entertaining.. But that describes WWE and wrestling as a whole these days..

I never activelly thought about it, but in retrospect, I'm thinking that from day 1, I've always seen Adam Rose as bisexual, or whatever. As far as Fandango goes, he never gave me the impression of being gay, tbh.

Regardless, I don't see it being "part of the character" for either of them. Goldust used sex against other guys, but until this week's match vs Titus, I don't recall "using" that kind of tactics to distract opponents. So, what does it matter anyway?
