Whose Entrance Music Should Be Changed?

CyberPunk

The Show himself
Entrance has been a big part of any character in WWE. From Kane to CM Punk, everyone has an entrance theme which enhances and describes one's character. Having said that, whose entrance theme would you like to see changed?
Personally, I want Wade Barrett's theme to change. It seems too generic and doesn't really enhances anything as far as his character goes. Even crowd is dead when he enters.

So what is your opinion? Whose entrance theme should change and why?

Without a doubt, Daniel Bryan.
If they want to even consider using him in the Main Event, he needs a new entrance theme. His current theme would be better fit for a comedy character, I believe.

By the way, I like Barrett's entrance. Even though I agree that it doesn't fit his current character too much, it's still a good entrance. I wouldn't change it.

i have to agree with you Daniel Bryan needs a new theme....his current one has to be the worst of anyone that matters ;). Its like one of those themes they throw on to wrestlers starting out their careers.

Also just throwing this one in but maybe they could change Christian's theme. It just doesn't go with a heel character he is "trying" to be

I do know that D-Bry's theme was altered to a more rock version of the original that he had, but yeah, I dunno. How many main eventers in the last PG era had theme songs that were edgy and over the top? Yeah, we're going to the Reality Era, but the motif is still PG. Just because the hardcore die-hards that want Attitude back in wrestling want edgy, doesn't mean that the target audience of the product wants edgy. The WWE is aimed at kids whether we like it or not.

Now as to who should change their theme... Crap I have no idea. Christian as a previous poster suggested works as his theme just ain't heel-ish to me. Maybe the version of it he had when Cena was drafted to Raw?

WOW, it's pretty obvious that D-Bri is the one wrestler that immediately pops to mind in regards to this tread. And yes, I'll admit, "Cry of the Valkyrie (remix)" just sounds like it's trying really hard to be edgy and totally does not fit Daniel Bryan as a character or as hit abilities. He how about the theme songfrom "Revenge of the Nerds"...that may be a bit fitting for him LOL.

I guess Imma be the minority and say that I actually like Bryan's music. Idk why. Probably cause it grew on me a little.

I have two options as to theme changes:

1. Randy Orton - I literally HATE the theme he has. He needs to go back to his old theme. Orton doesn't even act like a Viper anymore.

2. Christian - Get rid of that horrendous version of "Just Close Your Eyes" Bring back the one he had before left the WWE. The one by Waterproof Blonde. That one was a lot better. A LOT better. It seemed more epic, this new one seems more anti-climactic.

A few years ago I would've said Triple H. Motorhead did the "King of Kings" theme but Triple H never used...ok maybe he used it ONCE. I remember he came out to a match with it but then when he won they played "The Game". Even when he was going by King of Kings he never used it, and I thought that was a shame because its a good song.

Back on track. I would say...NO ONE. Themes change when there is a character change. For instance, when Cena went from his Dr. of Thug-a-nomics to what he is now, he changed his theme from "Word Life" to "My time is now".

The one person that I COULD see getting a theme change soon is most likely Zach Ryder. As his popularity grows his character will change.

Ezekiel Jackson needs to return as more of a thug, and, being a big rap fan, I'd give him this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea2JCIsv3iU

I can dream all I want, but Zeke does need a rap entrance. Maybe something more ghetto, but something along these lines would help his character out significantly.

Ted Dibiase's entrance music is also horrible, in my opinion. You could change it to anything, and it would be an improvement.

Since nobody has said it yet, John Cena. Heel or Face, this isn't the argument, but he really needs a new entrance and I believe that he should debut a new theme at WM28. Of all of Cena's "epic" entrances, this one should top them all and I have an idea.

John is known for recording his own theme so I hope he is back in the studio. He needs something darker, something edgier to fit this new asshole like persona that's developing (cause when he dissed the crowd at the Slammys with that Rock introduction I knew heel Cena is coming sooner than later, very asshole-ish).

All Cena's themes have fit who he was at the moment, from Ruthless Aggression, to Word Life, to My Time Is Now, he needs this new one to be called what else...Rise Above Hate. Imagine at WM28 the lights turn black, then red, then blue, then white, and so on while the entrance video stays the same but enhance Cena in the red white and blue colors with a black background while for once he actually WALKS to the ring without the salute (the day you see Cena walk, is the day something "un"expected happens).

The only time im not a Cena fan is when his entrance hits cause I know his happy-go-lucky ass is gonna come out smiling and running all over the place. Maybe when this persona develops more, they (WWE & Cena) will realize the theme isn't where it's at now. First the attire, next the theme.

Randy Orton - Orton has made mention of hearing voices, which is really cheesy even by wrestling standards. Am i supposed to believe the guy singing the song is Randy himself? I just don't get it. The entire gimmick reeks of the type of thing some virginal kid in high school would say to get attention in gym class. To have the gimmick repeated in a song each time you see the guy... lame. "Hey guys, just in case you forgot my gimmick just listen to the opening lines of my entrance song."

You don't "do what the voices tell you." I highly doubt that the Son of Sam actually heard voices, your just some asshole that wants and excuse to be an asshole without consequence.

What would everyone suggest Daniel Bryan change his music to then? Generic rock tune number 3000 or another shitty superstar theme by downstait. Daniel Bryans theme fits him, the first rise of the valkaries he used (the non rock version) was better though.. don't know why they changed it to that weird violin music and then back to a shittier version of his old theme. But no his theme shouldn't be changed, it works for him.

Cody Rhodes new version of smoke and mirrors is also VERY crap. Not better than the first version and still no better than the darker mix with no words that came after. The same goes for Dibiase too. He had a good song with Priceless and then 'New Day' which suited him more than the other legacy members, his theme now sounds like some unmonumental techno pop taken from any mainstream fm radio station. Just no.

Kofi kingston could be a lot more likeable if he didn't have such a horrendous theme. Its just nasty. And Wade Barrett definitely needs something other than the corres music... it sucks. Dolph Zigglers theme was better when it started off with I AM PERFECTION... I know they've moved on to the showoff gimmick, but the theme didn't need to be changed at all, it was instantly recognisable. The new one takes longer to hit home even if it is a few minor changes.

So my picks:

Ted Dibiase
Cody Rhodes
Wade Barrett
Dolph Ziggler
Kofi Kingston

Nah. Kofi's theme suits him perfectly. There is no way he should change it. If there is one guy who needs to change his theme it is definitely John Cena. My Time is Now is over. His time was over 6 years ago so he needs to have a new one.

While I did enjoy Dolph's original "I Am Perfection" music, his one now is fine, still works.
and I think Cody Rhodes theme is awesome, all three of them have been great from "Smoke and Mirrors"!
Wade Barrett's theme is good aswell, does anyone remember who the Corre is? Nope. I only recognize that music for Barrett. The words fit well aswell.

As for Daniel Bryan, if they wanna build him to be a Main Event superstar, they gotta change his song. The music he has now is better than the original one. He comes out to that, with his trunks pulled up to his chest, with that beard that looks like he's been growing it since he was 16.

Does anyone else think David Otunga's music sucks? its so bad, i know hes not in matches to often. but it still sucks.
Ted Dibiase got a theme that has anything related to money. Its terrible! Priceless was awesome and New Day was great.. eh.

I was hoping that someone else would say this first, but no luck so here it goes. I think the newer generation of stars all have generic similar sounding themes. Think of past stars most notably Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold, The Rock, Bret Hart, HBK. Their music hit and you knew it was them from the first note. The music got you excited, it popped the crowd. Today you have Taker, Kane, punk, HHH. Their music is distinct. All of the rising stars such as Dolph, Cody, Daniel Bryan, Barett and so on sometimes when there music hit i am not even sure who it is. Now i have missed some names and their are more exceptions, but I am sure everyone knows where I am going. Maybe the newer songs just suck to me, maybe they are not as fitting to the star as they should be, but in my mind something is missing. I am not trying to start an argument as I have been a fan since the first mania so I may be a little older than some fans and my music tastes surely have changed. Could anyone else provide some insight, and let me know if they agree with me or if I am off base? Interested to see if I am in the extreme minority here

Daniel Bryan - just isn't main event material

Cody Rhodes - cool new theme song but I don't think it really pushes him to main event, which I think he needs soon

Dolph Ziggler - Getting ridiculous now, I didn't even like the Downstait version of the original but the new one just sounds like lots of arrogant phrases thrown together in a really clumsy manner that just sounds stupid

Ted Dibiase - Irritating. It also doesn't fit his face character

Mark Henry - I don't think it really needs changed much cos it suits his character well, but it doesn't make enough impact in the opening few notes. Also he's had it for way too long so you can also associate the song with much less successful points in his career which isn't much use to him now

Tyson Kidd - so fast paced and such a great heel, yet he gets generic rock music

Yoshi Tatsu - Sounds like a Super Monkey Ball soundtrack except infinitely worse

Mason Ryan - such a generic tune, although he's a generic character so I suppose it's fair

Ezekial Jackson - They could just release him from his contract which would save them the trouble of coming up with a new song

Heath Slater - when his music hits, I STILL can't think of who's song it is until he walks out

On that note, I'd say the best themes are I Came To Play, Cult of Personality, and whatever Alberto Del Rio's song is called

I couldn't disagree with you more. Mark Henry's theme should not change. It's a very intimidating theme, DJ Paul does the chorus so well. One of the best fits for a wrestler, even if it is older. By no means is this theme outdated.

Wait, so Kofi's song fits him perfectly but Cena needs a new one? Lol, no. John Cena is still at the top of his game and I'm sure he has plenty of years left. You can hate John Cena all you want, you can hate his character all you want, you can question his wrestling abilities and question his rapping skills, but John Cena's theme song is probably one of the best the WWE has to offer. There is not one theme song in the WWE that gets the crowd to react the way they do when Cena's intro hits. Cena's song fits him just fine. Just because you hate the character, doesn't mean his theme music needs changing.

I believe that Zack Ryder has the worst theme song in the entire history of WWF/WWE. It's a terrible song and wouldn't fit any wrestler not even Billy and Chuck. I can't stand when he comes down to the ring and that terrible song comes on

The raw them song is really bad mainly because it's Nickelback and they are porbally one of the worst bands ever I thought they couldn't get worser than Papa Roach but Nickelback is just the worst garabage of music around. Smackdown's theme isn't good either because Greenday sucks now

I don't know what everyone has a problem about Daniel Bryan's song I like it a lot and it fits him well it reminds me of old school wrestling. I don't get how that isn't a main event wrestler's song. I mean does anybody remember Macho Man's theme song too when I hear that song i think of graduation I think of Macho man Randy Savage. It was funny when I graduated high school and when that song was playing I kept on thinking that Macho Man was going to randomly come out and yell OHHHHH YEAH then look around and say Whoops I'm in the wrong place then run away

Wade Barrett needs to be changed big time, it went from something that suited a bad ass heel to set the tone and the mood....to what he has now. I remember the days when he would come out to 12 stones with Nexus, to the one he had with the earlier Barrett Barrage. I will always be a firm supporter in Barrett, but his music royally sucks.

^Agreed. Wade Barrett's new theme doesn't fit him AT ALL. It's just sounds like pop-rock garbage that would be better suited for.....idk, Trent Barreta I guess.

I 100% agree as well. Wade Barretts new theme music is brutal. He needs to go back to end of days. There was nothing wrong with that. I thought it fit him well.

I think John Cena is way over due for a change to his entrance theme. I mean other than HBK I think he has stuck with the same theme longer than anyone in wrestling! HHH has had like 3 different themes I think, Kane and Taker have both tweaked theirs, Edge had like 3-4 different ones, even shit head Orton has had more than one. Cena has has this same music for far to long now and needs to freshen things up with something new.

the theme of Santino Marella is horrible and need to change this with something more italian,Triple H has the eternal theme since 12 years and he needs some new music from Metallica like Enter sandman.

Agree 100%. His current music is just as played out as his current character. I'd mark out huge if he went back to "Basic Thuganomics". That song was awesome, and perfectly fit his character back when he was exciting / entertaining / interesting, which is the persona that got him over in the first place. I assume they wouldn't do this unless he has a heel turn though. Too bad because that music was WAY better than his current played out theme.

Cena. I understand the hesitance to change it...but..... My time is now? Dude your time has been going on for the last six almost seven years.People always talk about how big of a merchandise seller Cena is ...well give him a new theme ....get a cut off.... itunes...bada bing. Money in the bank. On a side note...I think Batista and Edge have had the best entrance music in the last ten years. I love Alter bridge. And although i wasnt a big fan of Batista. ...seeing his entrance live ...honestly gave me chills.
