The great state of Alaska, which currently has the highest per capita rate of sexual assaults, recently held a $500,000 lottery in which the proceeds would benefit Standing Together Against Rape in Anchorage, a non-profit set up to support sexual assault victims and raise awareness of rape and sexual assault.

The winner of the lottery was Alex Ahsoak, an Anchorage man who was convicted separately in 1993 and 2000 for - wait for it - sexual abuse of a minor.

So now, a few thousand dollars is going to the rape prevention group, while $500k is going to buy a new home for the kid toucher.
