Nah.. HHH wouldn't be in it as their a ton of great stars that vince would rather have take his place.. hhh doesn't need to be in the match for it to be great... and lol christian? really. NO. Jomo would be fun to watch in their.. hoping all around and hanging.. but my list has better stars.

IF, it were 7 ppl in this match, then yes jomo would be put in. Wade Barrett is another name that would be great in this match

Christian - Even though WWE arent willing to give him the push he deserves he suits that type of match.

Taker - No reason needed

Kane - Everyone loves to see the brothers reunited works everytime

Morrison - Need that one person that can safely make us shout "Holy shit"

Ziggler - Could give him a big push with the big guys and he works well with Morrison

Daniel Bryan - That type of match suits him and I think he could pull of some related manouvers in the Cell. A nice push from the Taker could really help his career considering hes one of the better in the company (Wrestling/Mic)

Great thread!! I agree with some of your choices, and of course, I would like to add my own edits. If this match were to take place at the next PPV, I would like to see the following 6 Superstars in a modern day Armageddon 6 Man Hell In A cell match. With such a brutal match, the stakes must be raised. Putting both WWE and World Titles on the line would do just that.

Christian – The World Heavyweight Champion.

Dolph Ziggler – The most recent former World Champion. If Edge were still active, I would rather have the Rated R Superstar in the match Since that is not the case, I wouldn’t mind seeing Vicki outside the Cell and playing a part in the match.

John Cena – The Face and the Champion of the WWE.

Randy Orton – The second most recent former WWE Champion and the “Robin” to John Cena’s “Batman”.

Sheamus – The third most recent former WWE Champion. It’s just time to return to the Main Event scene. After his US Title run, I’ve grown to like his character.

The Miz – The most recent former WWE Champion.

As for the winner of this match, I would have to go with anyone except for Batman and Robin. Imagine what a win here would do for Dolph or the Miz. It could have a similar impact to their careers as it did when Kurt Angle won this match and / or when Chris Jericho won the Undisputed Title.

For me it would be like :

1- John Cena : Really no need to explain. This match is supposed to be the biggest deal so count him in. I would not have him as the winner though, just like Austin didn't win the original.

2 - Randy Orton : just like Cena.

3 - The Miz : He is my choice to be the winner. He would be the target of other superstars' offense for the big part of the match and secures a sneaky victory.

4 - Morrison : Places like HIAC is what a Spiderman lives for. He can be there and do some cool stuff, you know.

5 - Sheamus : He is there to cause damage. The other reason is that I want to see the impact that cage leaves on his skin. It's so badass

6 - CM Punk : To me, he is the modern day Mick Foley and will become the workhorse of the match.

A 6 person HIAC match should be for one of the World titles, and since I watch Raw more than SmackDown, I am going to say it's the Raw main event

1. John Cena: he's the face of the company like him or not. Also, he sells tickets and merch...he's in the match

2. John Morrison: watching him climb all around the cell would be great

3. Kane: you need a monster in this match, Kane fits the bill

4. HHH: same as Kane, but also because HHH is the guy who I believe has been in the most cell matches ever.

5. Chris Jericho: if he's returning, great way to instantly make him a main event player (again)

6. Alberto Del Rio: being in this match would further establish him as a top star..he wouldn't even need to win it..if he eliminates Jericho and/or Kane but then is eliminated by Cena or HHH after an AA, Pedigree, Chokeslam (from Kane even after Kane's eliminated) and a sledgehammer shot...he won't look weak (same would apply to Morrison)

The idea of a modern day Armageddon Hell in a Cell match really doesn't interest me. Not with the product so watered down. The very point of the Cell is defeated with a PG product that won't allow blood and draws the line at what you can do with other weapons. We've got an Elimination Chamber PPV, which is supposedly "the most sadistic structure ever invented" and I'm usually pretty disappointed in those matches every year (with a few exceptions). I guess if they were going to do one with the current roster, I'd book it like this...

Hell in a Cell
John Cena: The champion
Randy Orton: Secondary "face of the WWE"
Alberto del Rio: Up-and-comer that will prove himself in the Cell
Kane: Veteran who wants one more shot at the top and has proven himself in hardcore scenarios
Chris Jericho: Big returning star and wild card
CM Punk: The guy can take bumps, sell a story, and the Nexus can interfere, opening the Cell door for outside mayhem

Big Show comes out to save Kane from the Nexus and knocks out CM Punk, but the Corre joins the fray against the tag team champions. The Nexus and Corre continue to brawl to the back and in the crowd and what-not. Jericho hits the Codebreaker on Kane, Del Rio puts Jericho in the armbar, but Randy Orton hits Cena with the RKO and gets the 1-2-3 before Jericho taps out.

If we are looking at a Raw & SD joint HIAC match, the Orton is number 2. He is the 2nd biggest star they have right now, the new face of SD. He needs to be in

Undertaker

The innovator of the HIAC, the man who made it what it is today. If he is healthy, get him in there

Triple H

Again, a pioneer in HIAC matches. No-one has won more than he has, certainly worthy of a spot

John Morrison

The risk taker, not afraid to get beat up or take some punishment. A good run in the HIAC could push JoMo to the next level and into the main event bracket permenantly

Chris Jericho

He will be returning soon, and what better way to bring him back than as the final mystery entry into the HIAC?

If there was a new six man HiaC match, it would have to be a multibrand match. I would have the following superstars:

1.John Cena: purely because as he is the face of the WWE and would attract the most interest and PPV buys, and would also give a solid performance in the cell.

2.The Miz:Top Heel in the business regardless of his loss of the title is very over, he would make the lead up to the match very entertaining with his promo ability. He would have a mediocre performance in the cell.

3.Randy Orton: The Viper, the current leader of the blue brand. As per Randy's gimmick he would be the most dangerous in the cell not caring about anything other than coming out with the victory. Good performance in the cell.

4. Cody Rhodes: The Disturbed One, the best young star in the WWE. He would only benefit from this match, with all the hardcore elements in the match it would play into his gimmick making for a some twisted attacks on the other superstars. Would more than likely focus his attacks on Randy Orton looking to cause damage to the man who showed him how to be a heel.

5. CM Punk: The Straight Edge Savior, he would use the match to play into hands in any of his feuds between the New Nexus and any enemies in the match, and to finish his feud with the Viper, which was ended abrublty with Orton's move to Smackdown

6. John Morrison: The Shaman Of Sexy, He would be in the match to finaly complete his ascension into the main event, he could use the match to display more of his athletic ability.

Mix brand has to be for a title obviously can't have a match like this not be:

Cena - face of the company, I'd have him feuding with Miz leading into it, yes still. Cena can have by this point beaten Miz again and have moved on but Miz can still be stalking him. I'd want it to get personal, Miz can have gone after Cena's family etc etc. All the old tricks. Most importantly you can't have had them meet in the ring before this. This needs to be Cena getting his hands on Miz.

Miz - see above.

Rhodes - I just love his new character. You can have him going on a rant and a rave about how he wants to make everyone as disgusting as he is and to do that he wants to get in HIAC. Miz can then come to him and play the caring friend. He can give him the WWEs poster boy and pretty boy Cena a few weeks before promising if Rhodes takes him out Miz will get him in the match. Rhodes takes out Cena a few weeks before brutally gets in the match.

JoMo - For the high spots obviously, his reason for being in the match can be the classic underdog one. He's dying for that title and he'll do anything to get it even if it nearly kills him in the process.

CM Punk - I'd do this by reverting a bit to his last feud with Cena. Have him play the Mr McMahon role of not wanting this match to go ahead due to how barbaric it is. Then have him get inserted in the match. He can then promise that he'll show everyone how barbaric it is by slowly destroying everyone else in the match with him. He'll make sure that the WWE never want to sanction a match like this again after seeing what he's done to their 'superstars'.

Del Rio - The cocky young guy who doesn't believe the horrors of HIAC I'd have Del Rio in the lead up talking about how he's not scared how he can handle anything the so called cell can throw at him. Then in the match I'd make sure he ended up wearing bleeding like a pig haha. I know WWE doesn't want to show blood and I'm not particularly bloodthirsty I just think it could be a coming of age for him almost. He can enter the cell all brash and arrogant get destroyed but not give up before coming back meaner and harder.

I wanted to put everyone in storylines because it makes it interesting. You've got a dynamic in the Cell and they're all in there for a reason rather than just being thrown in. You can have Rhodes destroying the pretty boy Del Rio etc etc. I reckon it would be a good gimmick match.

Oh and Cena would win. He's get destroyed in the process but he'd come out with the belt against the odds. The usual crap.

Why not...

- John Cena because he is John Fucking Cena. You can't have a big ass match without the top guy in the company. He would probably win it as well.

- Sheamus because he is just so good at kicking ass. It is like he watches Stan Hansen and Terry Fucking Gordy matches as inspiration to his matches. He is also good at faces and the likes.

- Wade Barrett because he is probably the most "satisfying to see him get his ass kicked" heel they have had in the past year. He makes funny faces and isn't scared to do spots that mostly involve him getting his ass kicked. He also displays great 'asshole-ness' when he is doing a little ass kicking of his own. A true heel. imo

- Randy Orton.. If Cena is in this own, it seems like a default the number 2 guy is involved. Can't think of what he will add to the match besides name value tho.

- Big Show can give the guys focus. "When all else fails, go after the big man."

- John Morrison just because you need some moron to do something fucking stupid and dangerous. He won't add any name value and stands out like a sore thumb, but it is what it is. That and him being off TV is more of a blessing than a curse imo

1. the match will consist of 3 RAW and 3 SD superstars.
2. the winner would receive the newly unified WWE/WHC.
3. Superstars current champs, Cena/Orton-Duh
Undertaker-Returns as a mystery 6th man
Christian-I love Orton as champ but honestly! 5 days! bunch a bull!
John Morrison- It IS his time to shine. give him the chance.
HHH-i know hes in management now, BUT hes a god in HIAC him and Taker in same cell= WM 27 x 10!
