Who will lose first?

afromania

TELL ME YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT!
In a singles contest?

Jack Swagger or Vladimir Kozlov?

Both are undefeated in singles matches.(Swagger has lost a tag team match and Kozlov has lost a couple triple threat matches)

So you tell me who will lose first because I have no idea. I do think though that both of these streaks will last up to Wrestlemania, with one streak possibly ending there and another lasting past it.

Kozlov is still being built up and though he has been on losing teams, he has yet to be pinned or submitted.

From what I remember, Swagger has been pinned in at least a tag match or two (correct me if I'm wrong) so he has none of that monster mystique when compared to Kozlov, so I say Swagger will be the first of the two to be pinned or submitted in singles competition since its already been established that he's fallible.

Well this is a rather intresting question, who will lose first? I think it's going to be Jack Swagger. Even though I wont like it but the guy is not invincible. He's a good wrestler and a powerfull one at that, but I think that the creative team would want to push Kozlov like the way Goldberg was pushed in his career. Constantly winning and getting people to notice what kind of a threat he is to others. And those video packages they keep airing about Kozlov wanting a ''challenge'' doesn't make me believe that he is going to lose anytime soon. But if he were to go against Triple H in a singles match, I can assure you Kozlov will lose. Why? because when is the last time you've seen Trips lose?

He's lost enough on TV without getting pinned for his undefeated streak to be pointless. Samoa Joe was dominant even whilst losing via DQ, Kozlov needs to beat Triple h with the help of the Big Show.

He'll also have to be pinned or submitted in the EC unless WWE plans on having him win it. I can't see him headlining WrestleMania anytime soon, can you?

Can't see MVP myself. They'll want to get Kozlov onto the show so he has momentum going into Mania. He's been facing HHH for several weeks now, I don't see what else there would be for him outside of this match.

Even if Kozlov loses the Chamber Match, according to the WWE, he's still undefeated in televised singles action.

That's how they billed C.M. Punk after he was knocked out of the Elimination Chamber. But it doesn't mean a thing. A pin is a pin, it doesn't matter what the circumstances are.

Both Kozlov and Swagger aren't undefeated.

See Survivor Series and Smackdown from a few weeks ago. They even built up Ricky Ortiz as undefeated because he had won 6 squash matches.

Next thing you know, Kung Fu Naki will be known as undefeated.

Swagger got pinned in a tag match so he's definitely not undefeated, even by WWE's lax laws. But I'm sure they probably just say he's never been pinned in singles action.

They'll get to the stage where they say Swagger has never been pinned on a Wednesday morning.

Def Swagger. They'll probably have him get pinned the week before his title defense at NWO or something.

If he doesn't defend the belt however, then it'll be Koslov getting eliminated from the Chamber. He'll either eliminate Hardy or HHH, and then immediately get eliminated by Taker or HHH, who in turn will be immediately eliminated by a Big Show Punch of all things.

I found it quite amusing that i literally discovered this thread a couple of hours ago, and the question has already been answered.

I can't remember how to post spoilers though

I guess my question has been answered. Jack Swaggah lost to Finlay on ECW last night in a singles match. I didn't think his streak would end that fast or be ended by Finlay. I thought he would get beat by somebody young who could get a little rub off of it by ending his streak. Although it wouldn't be much of a rub anyways, a person would probably get a better rub if they beat kozlov since he's been around longer than swagger.

I think Swagger had to lose. Look at people like Umaga when they went undefeated. After he lost once, his mass push was finished. He was stuck being the McMahon's body guard.

Swagger losing to Finlay gives this rivalry a put of suspense. They can now go have a great match at NWO with Swagger retaining and he can go into a programme with Dreamer again, this time for the title.

Now he doesn't have the undefeated gimmick going, there's less pressure on him. He can carry on towards the main event where he can become "the next big thing."

Kozlov is there to job to the stars, ala Umaga eventually. He needs to lose it to the right person, although i fear it will eventually be HHH who pins him, which will be a waste.
