Who was responsible for the botch?

We all know the ending to the Randy Orton/Justin Gabriel did not go as planned. Who's fault was it?

I say it was Orton's. Gabriel is the one flying through the air and Orton needed to move quicker and further away. Botch by Randy. If his shoulder is hurt or something, he only has himself to blame.

What do you guys think?

At the end of the day though, I doubt anything would come from it. Orton wasn't favoring the shoulder at all post-match and whenever he is legit hurt, he always favors it a bit, even if he tries his best not to do so. I think he is fine and hopefully, it just gets considered a little mistake that is forgotten about. Things like that happen all the time and as long as both men are fine, it should just be history.

Yeah, but Orton and Kennedy were both fine after the RKO that wasn't. Orton will most likely complain, but because Gabriel is involved in their biggest storyline right now, he will most likely not be released. Trust me, Randy will try, though.

That's a totally different situation. I still hold to the belief that Kennedy was completely wrong in that situation and deserved (due to things beyond just the botch) to be released. But this thread isn't about that.

Justin Gabriel overshot the move so Orton could roll towards the corner and have more room to work with when executing the RKO finish. However, Orton thought it would be best if he moved into the middle of the ring (since Gabriel usually doesn't got far in distance) and make the end easier for both men.

Simple communication problem, is all. I'm sure even Orton could agree with this.

It wasn't either man's fault. It was just a simple botch. Nobody touched on the subject whether it was Brock Lesnar's or Kurt Angle's fault at Wrestlemania XIX. It happens to the best of 'em.

As much as I like Orton, it was his fault. You always, always, always roll towards to the person's feet (ie, the corner) with splash moves. Which is why Gabriel overshot, so it would be LESS likely he's hurt Orton. But, Orton moved the wrong way.

As everyone saw on Raw, while Justin Gabriel was doing his 450 splash, Randy orton rolled out of the way, and as he was rolling out of the way, Gabriel landed on his neck and shoulder.

Randy looked to have injured his arm, and it looked like a preety legit injury, till he RKO'ed Gabriel.

Do you think that the move was botched, or was it planned?

Who do you think was at fault?

Do you think Gabriel will be repremended like other superstars that have botched with Orton, ie. Mr. Kennedy, Kofi Kingston.

For me Orton was at Fault...Gabriel was mid air, what was he meant to do!? Orton rolled the wrong way, he should of come inside. His head looked pretty messed up aswell.

I just hope Gabriel doesnt get the "Kennedy" treatment because of this!!!

Depends on what was supposed to happen. I do not see how Orton can RKO him in "out of nowhere" style if he roles into the corner. Then again Gabriel clearly went long on purpose. Orton did make the "you fucked up face" at Gabriel but that doesn't mean much besides Orton is a dick. Suggests to me they both fucked up by not being more clear about what was going to happen, which "means" Gabriel fucked up and is getting deported soon.
