Who should RVD's first feud be with when he returns?

The thing is that he signed a short term contract, so WWE wouldn't push him too hard. But if they don't push him seriously, it'll be a big hoo ha over nothing. So I feel WWE have booked themselves into a corner already with this whole situation.

You would think that the WWE would realize that doing this many short-term contracts is killing them and will hurt them even worse 10 years from now when these short-term superstars (most of whom are getting fairly old) can't work good matches anymore and nobody new got over 10 years before.

I would like to see RVD feud with Punk for sure. Heyman could be involved heavily, and I think the two would put on a great match. Curtis Axel would be another possibility with Heyman trying to get RVD to join his group. I think his return has to involve Heyman somehow. It is too good of a built in story for them not to use it. I just can't see him winning the MITB match right away so feuding with another Heyman guy would be a good route to take with the possible swerve of RVD joining Heyman.

I'd love to see RVD feud with CM Punk or Daniel Bryan at some point, I know those are probably the two popular choices but they are popular because we all know they will be damn good.

We can rule out that RVD will return as a heel, the reaction his promo got says that he'll be a face and plus the fact that the WWE is dominated by heels at the moment.

The Wyatt Family would be a good feud as already stated but lets just see what happens, I'm sure they'll use him better than TNA did.

I would like Kane to apologise to RVD for all the horrible things that he did to him when he was unmasked and ask for a hug. Then they can rekindle their tag team and feud with Shield and PTP and whoever else.

I'd like to see him feud with Rollins, its time for the other two (Rollins & Reigns) to get some singles action. Let them drop the tag belts to the USOS until the Wyatts are ready and get Reigns going after the IC Title.

I think the first person RVD should fued with on his return should be Curtis Axle. WWE seem set to really push Axle and turn him in to one of the companys top guys and to do that they are going to need guys like RVD to give him a rub. Also with RVD being a former Hayman Guy there are plenty of places WWE could take the storyline.
