Mid-Card Championship Winner
So the WHC is Seth Rollins, the Tag Team champs are New Day, the IC champ is Bryan, Nikki is the Diva champ and the U.S Champ is Cena. Who do you think should be the next champions? Just to make it interesting, try to avoid the current contenders.
Tag Team: If Harper and Rowan are reuniting, I think they should get the belts sooner than later. They deserved a win against the Uso's, but presumably WWE didn't want to put belts on them before they did Bray...who is still waiting. No one seems to care for the Ascension and the Lucha Dragons should wait a little longer. There needs to be a compelling storyline surrounding the Lucha's victory.
Intercontinental: This is tough because we're not sure on the status of Daniel Bryan. If he returns as champ, I'd be interested in Sheamus pursuing this. If not, I think Ryback could use the belt.
U.S: I might get some crap for this, but I actually want to see Swagger defeat Rusev (presuming he wins) for this belt. In my eyes, Swagger made Rusev with their awesome matches and I think a victory would be an awesome pay-off. However, Swagger has been demoted to irrelevancy, so they'd have to rebuild him. I'd also say Sandow, but it seems like he is also in the process of being buried. Ryback could also be a worthy contender for this belt as well.
Diva: Don't care! I think turning Nikki face was an incredibly stupid idea, almost as dumb as turning Naomi heel. I feel like Naomi entered this feud as the underdog and continues to be the underdog despite being the villain, which means she should not win the belt. Paige getting the belt means little as she's already had it twice within the last year. I guess...Brie? If Nikki was a heel, this could've worked. But now, I dunno. They need someone from nXt to salvage this train wreck of a division.
WHC: Reigns is my top choice, but the problem is he's feuding with Rollins right now and that contradicts my initial goal with this thread...But I have to stick with that as no one else seems ready right now and Lesnar does not need another part-time run so soon. Nor do we need Orton or Cena hogging the belts quite yet. If I had to choose? Big Show (kidding!). I'd say Rusev, albeit reluctantly. Bryan probably should not be anywhere near the title scene for awhile because he seems so injury prone. Bray keeps losing to main eventers. Rusev's potential as a main eventer was deflated when Cena beat him, but he's the only one outside of Reigns who feels fresh and strong enough to go for this gold.
