Who Shot Kurt Cobain?

Yes, I am ripping off Dallas here. But the bigger question is, who shot Kurt Cobain. Most of us know the story. Kurt Cobain, dead. But how did he get the dead? Did he shoot himself with a shotgun? Or was he shotted with with a shotted gun. Yes I am talking like this to make fun of Courtney Love.

Courtney Love. Kurt's love if his drugged out life. She was his everything, his love, his inspiration, his dinner maker, his murdered, his drug buddy, his... whoa whoa whoa. Did I just say his Murderer?

Perhaps she was. How could she do this? Well besides the fact that most murders are done by someone you know. But lots of people know Kurt Cobain, including himself. Could he have done it? Hmm, interesting.

He died in his house, while loaded up on the H. Infact, he had so much, that people wonder how he was able to take a bird gun, which are about 5 feet long, I know, I have one... so watch the fuck out. How was Kurt Cobain able to take this long barreled gun, put it in his mouth, and pull the trigger which was out of arms length. While loaded on so much Heroin that he could probably hardly move. Hmm. Was he loaded on the H so his death would be painless? Was he loaded on it so that Miss Love would feel less bad for spreading his brains out on the back wall like a cherry pie. Did she hire a hitman to do this duty? Or was it a robbery, which many people say it was, a little strange because they took target goods instead of the easier to steal goods.

So add more rumours into here, because that is all I have. Rumours. Watched some show on it a few years ago, and that is where I get all my information from. So maybe this is all bullshit. But what do you think?

Jesus TM, you're just on a damn music thread making binge here aren't you? Another great topic man, and one I've delved into deeply. Cobain has always been one of my biggest idols from when I was ten years old, so obviously the circumstances of his death have always deeply interested me.

I have no doubt that Cobain did NOT commit suicide. There are simply far too many glaring problems with the official story.

First of all, there's the heroin. Cobain had 1.52 milligrams of heroin in his system when he died. That is a MASSIVE amount of heroin, even for the most hardcore of addicts. Though I don't often like to talk about it on here, I'm going to assume I'm the only person on this forum to have first-hand experience with heroin addiction. And let me tell you; I don't care how much of a junkie you are, that much heroin leaves you basically fucking paralyzed. It's almost impossible to speak, and moving is one of the most difficult things you could do. There's simply no way Cobain was able to write a suicide note that was legible, put on an REM album, grab a shotgun and than shoot himself in the head with that shotgun on that much heroin. It's just not fuckin' happening guys. The only thing you can do on that much heroin is lay in bed and nod off, that's about it. Let's also not forget the fact that no fingerprints were ever found on the shotgun.

Secondly, there's the story of El Duce (a man whom my father had actually known during his LA punk days). He was best known as the lead singer of the Mentors, an 80s punk/shock-rock band. He was famously interviewed in 1997 for the documentary Kurt & Courtney, where he claimed that Courtney Love offered him $50,000 to kill Cobain. Now, granted, Duce was never exactly a reliable source of information and was known for being a crazy motherfucker who would do or say anything. Duce claimed that he didn't want to go into more details because he might "end up in a ditch or cornfield somewhere". Two days after giving that interview to the documentary crew, Duce was killed by a train. A train. Seriously, how many people are hit by fucking trains? Not many, and those who have been are usually hobo junkies. Not many people are accidentally killed by a fucking train. What a coincidence that two days after revealing that information, he just happens to be hit by a train. Too big of a coincidence if you ask me.

I mean, really, let's look at Courtney Love. Some people might say "Why would she ever want to kill the father of her child?!". Well, take a look at her past. She's the definition of mental instability. Stripper, drug addict, various stays in mental hospitals, known to go into bouts of insane rage, childhood spent going from one commune to another, and she was know to have had serious connections to crime during her stripping days. I have no doubt in my mind that she would be capable of something like this.

Look, I'm not going to pretend to definitively know the answers to what happened. All I can do is follow the evidence, and that evidence leads to the possibility of murder more often than it does suicide. There are just too many things that don't add up.

Well, usually I just go along with what the official ruling in the Kurt Cobain case was, and that's suicide. It should be noted, however, that I only do that for the benefit of my sanity. I used to fly the Courtney killed Kurt banner proudly, but everytime someone asked my opinion, they'd argue with me. So, eventually, I got tired of it and just followed the official ruling, when I was in public. That being said, I've always felt foul play was involved.

Like X, and TM, said: There was simply too much of the junk in his system to successfully commit suicide by gun shot. If I'm remembering correctly, and feel free to correct me, but wasn't his drug kit put up neatly in its box? And I'm a reasonably tall guy, and I've experimented at length whether or not I could pull the trigger. Come to find, I'd have to either: a) Use some sort of "finger extension" or b) use my toe. That's another point I don't think has been touched on properly, is that Kurt still had his shoes on. How did he reach the trigger? Answer: Somebody else reached it for him, from a safe distance.

Am I saying Courtney was the killer? No, I'm not, cause I can't prove it beyond reasonable doubt, and I don't feel like getting slapped with a libel suit. Am I saying it's wierd how half of Kurts suicide note (the half by the way, that makes no mention of biting it, but sounds more like a retirement speech) is in Kurts handwriting, whereas the second half (written in a "Poor me, feel sorry for me, I'mma go kill myself" manner) is in who's handwriting? Anyone, class? Anyone? That's right Courtneys.

Still, I'm not going to say conclusively it was Mrs. Cobain who killed Kurt. It could have been an obsessed fan, or something like that.

You know, I look at the mess that is Courtney, and I think to myself... this woman has something to hide. I don't think she has been sober since the night he died. And it eats me up inside that she might have killed Kurt Cobain, and she gets away with it each and every day. I hope the drugs destroy her body, because she deserves nothing else. She is an embarrassment to mankind and I cannot wait until her death.

If she didn't do it, Hole still sucks.
