My favorite band is Brand New. I don't know what it is about them, but I listen to at least one of their cd's averyday. After that, it would probably be New Found Glory. They were the first band I found out about by myself without my brother showing me them. Right now I am really getting into Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. They are an amazing southern rock/metal band, but not at all like Every Time I Die, even though they are good, too. I mostly listen to pop/punk, hardcore, rap, and techno. I guess I could have said anything but country.

put a trumphet in my ass and let me fart and that shit sounds better than all that new ******y pop and even my fav rock yeah hate to say it but music nowadays is just plain sucks now zeppelin that group has got amazing skills and are awesome to see in concert

I listen to Metal and some rap.

Fav Artists:

Dimmu Borgir
Tool (Fav. Band)
Pantera
Bullet For My Valentine
Underoath
Deftones
Static X
Slipknot
Stone Sour
HELLYEAH

So you can get a basis of what I listen to now :)

I listen to quite a bit of different music. Honestly I can get into almost any genre if its "good" music.

Absolute Favs; Pantera (Phil Anselmo is a God and their music is / was the total package...lyrics, sound, integrity, everything), The Doors (Just a band Ive always felt a connection with their music. The Doors are so California and I have a major connection to Cali), DJ Tiesto (He's basically the best DJ in the world right now. Amazing beats that keep me moving) , Johnny Cash (He probably is not the best vocalist or anything but he had fun and put alot of emotion behind his voice / music and umm I was a Cash fan before the movie made it cool...well kinda cool)

metal music is my first love but I'm also into lots of trance / techno (especially lately, I'm total clubhead and obviously thats whats played there), some pop, some rap, classic country, classic rock.

I'm not one of those people who is like "I like hard music so all pop / rap is bad"...There is entirely to much shitty music is every genre metal / rock / punk / indie included.

I piratically listen to everything other than rap as I feel a lot of their music isn't my style. I don't believe in a lot with shooting others, drug use, etc there's more to why I dislike rap but I'm too lazy to say it.

My favorite genres includes punk, rock, some metal, alternative and techno. Lately I been into techno a lot. I really can't stand screamo or extreme heavy metal where all they do is yell; you can't even understand what they're saying which I don't find screaming talented seeing like myself, anyone can scream.

I try to keep my mind open with all sorts of music. Mainly I listen to punk and metal but sometimes you just need to mellow out so I like some chillout or accoustic stuff. See the list below and you'll see.

Dropkick Murphys
Rise Against
Flogging Molly
Anti-Flag
Bad Religion
Bouncing Souls
Metallica
Machine Head
Mastodon
Jose Gonzalez
Newton Faulkner

I don't really like one genre... My favourite bands in no order are Led Zeppelin (hope i get tickets!), T Rex, Nightwish and Mindless Self Indulgence... Which to be honest i doubt i could get 4 more different bands! It all depends on what mood i am in to what music i want to listen to. And anything with a decent bass guitar in it! (mainly because i love bass, and i play it too)

I like everything except for country (i just dont like it, it all squshes together after awhile)and rap (it sucks and everyone knows it, its an excuse for people who cant actually sing to be on MTV) or anything too extreme...
My top 5 bands (not in order)
1. AC/DC
2. Killswitch Engage
3. Black Sabbath
4. Dio
5. Disturbed
(I like old rock and roll, because it's cool, and its better than most of the music there is today, you got a problem with that?)

also, you guys should check out Shattershere if you like Killswitch or Linkin Park, Disturbed, something like that

also, Meilicha, i play the bass too, both the guitar and the orchestra version

I'm a huge country fan. Right now I'm a total Miranda Lambert mark. I love her outlawish attitude. "Cowboys do more drugs than rockers"... I love that quote.

I also like some hip-hop and alot of rock. Everything from Black Label Society on down.

As I Lay Dying, unearth, and lamb of god are the 3 bands ive seen who put on the best and most electrifying live performances. made my hairs stand up and gave me goosebumps. definetly a good time if any of you guys get a chance to see them and/or like metal music

Anything really, i used to produce so i listen to anything catchy either hip hop rock or even banghara, as long as its catchy it has my ear, if its complete crap (cough spice girls, steps s club cough) then i will never let it offend my ears

lately I have been listening to alot of rap but not the crap that everyones used to real stuf like Talib Kweli and Kanye West. those two have put out very good albums recently and are both respected musicians because unlike most rappers they put detail into their music and care about the quality

I enjoy listening to rap & Hip/Hop. I really like 50 Cent, Eminem, Kanye West, Akon, Timbaland, ect. I also don't mind rock, but i really don't like country. I also love The Arcade Fire(a really awesome Canadian band)!!

I usually listen to Rap and Hip-Hop. No I am not your stereotypical "wigger" (sorry if that any offense to anyone). I dont listen to music unless I am in my car, and it is a relaxation to me. If I listened to music otherwise to just sit and let the time go by, it would be alternative music.

Lately I have been listening to alot of David Bowie. comment on that if you like but that man is a musical genius and wrote some of the best music ever I dont care how fruity he was hes married now and was still one of the best musicians ever regardless

I've listened to some David Bowie. I like his song "Let's Dance."

I like all kinds of music, but I mostly listen to Japenese Pop and Techno.

I listen to primarily heavy rock although I am a fan of many different kinds of music, excluding rap, hip hop, r & b, and country. I also enjoy some orchestral music, mainly being Howard Shore and John Williams. Here lately, I've been listening to that new Alter Bridge CD as well as an Offspring greatest hits album I bought the other day.

I listen to a lot of Rock and Metal. My favourite band is Iron Maiden, and my favourite song by Maiden is The Trooper. I also enjoy listening to some Three Days Grace, Ozzy Osbourne, and System Of A Down.

I listen to alot of rap along with all my other stuff but only the good stuff. rap music with a purpose and with actualy beats and thought out lyrics not the generic lyrics you hear on the radio. People like Talib Kweli, Kanye West, and Lupe Fiasco. And another rapper I cant help but like is Lil Wayne he is lyrical genius everything he writes sounds good and is always original.

Ive started to listen to a bit of Techno these days, It is sort of weird in a way that I have taken to listening to it but oh well going from Metal to Techno/House on the iPOD is an interesting thing and it can work depending on the song. The New Ministry of Sound Album is good.

I love christian music really gets me up and everything
i listen to alot of southern rap like artists from houston, atlanta, etc. i know weird combo with christian music lol
Im not really into rock but i love rage against the machine i love their style and everything, freakin tight.
im a country fan a little i find it entertaining sometimes, but i aint all hardcore about it so you wont see me in nut-huggin wranglers and cowboy hats lol but thats about it

I mostly listen to hip-hop/rap but not the mainstream rap that they play on the radio or mtv.
Currently im really into Jay~Z,just started listening to him since he came out wlth 'Kingdom Come' and his most recent 'American Gangster'.

I also really like to listen to my own music. My friends and I started a rap group and while were not very good were defenitely better than youd expect from white and puerto Ricans teenagers. we are kind of gimmicky but our flows and rhymes are actually kind of good

I've got everything from Mozart and Chopin to Eminem and Metallica on my mp3 player. I'm a music lover and listen to absolutely anything, as long as the beat or lyrics get to me. It's a shame that some people listen to only one type of music, and refuse to open themselves up to anything else. I don't really care for opera, because I can never understand WTF anyone is saying! I did like Jesus Christ Superstar though. :)
