Wait a minute...Kane tombstoned the Big Show??? If someone has footage of that, I GOTTA see this. I don't ever remember anything like that...

The reason I mentioned Cena as being the strongest is also proportionate to his height. Cena, at 6'0", is a lot shorter than many of the people in this poll, and you have to be impressed with the fact that he held The Big Show (who in actuality is about 420 lbs. as opposed to 500, but that's still impressive) in FU position.

I also have to hand it to Batista. Didn't he give Show the Batista Bomb? That was an impressive feat of strength as well.

Batista never gave show a bomb, only person to do that was kevin nash. I seen kane tombstone bigshow. Cena couldn't be the strongest. Shows really 500 pounds he looks 500 right now maybe few years back he was 450, He had to gain weight to fight that sumo dude can't remember his name. since then show gained weight.

Mark henry the strongest. And big show. Big show gorrila pressed slammed 330 kane when kane was in his prime. and he also gorrila pressed slammed undertaker who was 328 pounds in his prime as well. lifting a 300 person over your head is a big feat to do. lot more harder then doing the fu. So my choices are mark henry and big show.

there is no way henry is the strongest. he cant even lift batista. just because his gimmick says he is the strongest in the world doesnt mean he is.

I'd hate to say it but Khali is the strongest, he has no skill wrestling but he is a monster, mark Henry is fat and muscle defeats fat everytime. ;)

Well there is no doubt that Mark Henry is strong but he is not the strongest in my opinion. He came in 10th in the olympics and won a strong man compition...one compition which many other men have won since then lifting more than he. Even henry says that was another time and place for him.

If you even asked Mark Henry himself if he could be the World's strongest man again, he flat out would tell you "no way man those were the days of the past.

Big show is huge and I just think in a match of strenght he could out do Henry now a days.

hell you talking about Henry pressed slammed batista with ease, Kane stated that henry is the strongest. Henry is stil young he can win the strongest man competition again, hell you see guys in there 50's competiing so, Henry's in his early 30's i'm sure with the proper hardcore trainer he does which i'm sure he does he can do it again. henry alot stronger now then then.

Speaking of who's the strongest if henry isn't the strongest why is he winning the poll up top, duh people gees.

^Dude, Shut Up. Don't double post unless you actually have something to SAY in the second post that isn't worth the time to click the damn edit button. I hate this thread because it has Lashley, Cena, and Umaga as contenders. There is no way they could possibly be the strongest at anything except for lowsy characters. Obviously the strongest is Big Show, the biggest is Bautista. So there.

I didnt make this shyt up..this is from his mouth...if he thinks he cant do it again then whoam I or you for that matter to say otherwise....

again direct quote....

Henry can do it again if he wanted to. Just that he doesnt, he's still young. you see guys in there 40 and 50 entering the competition. so ya he could do it again if he wanted to.

Batista ain't the biggest you bone head, big show is the biggest henry is the strongest, if henry isnt the strongest why is he winning the pole up top. Batista no where the size of henry and big show. Batista ain't that big, sure he's strong not as strong as henry and big show.

Chris Masters has to be up their. I would have to go with Mark Henry though.
I don't know about that chris masters

did any of you see when he failed to lift viscera? that was funny. I don't know if that was staged or not.

He's winning the pole because that is what people think. The poll is actually irrelevant. Facts speak better.

Come on guys! Think about it! Big Show is obviously stronger than all the aforementioned guys, simply for the fact that he is at least 100 pounds heavier than any of the others. Mark Henry is about 350 pounds. Batista is about 300, so is Kane, Undertaker, Khali. Show is almost 500 freaking pounds!!! WWE may inflate his weight in the ring announcement (he's probably about 470) but he's still way bigger than any other. And yes, bigger does mean stronger. Think about boxing. Doesn't matter how talented a flyweight or lightweight boxer is, they'd get slaughtered against someone in a heavyweight or super heavyweight division. Can Henry or Batista lift up Big Show? Perhaps, but not with ease. Show could lift up and suplex or slam these guys WITH EASE, just because of his sheer size. Therefore SIZE=STRENGTH.

And if you're thinking Cena, you're dreaming. He's only 250 or something. Kudos to him for F-U-ing Show time and again, but Show could toss Cena around like a rag doll if he really wanted to.

Okay. If you voted for Henry in the poll answer this. Yeah, Henry slammed Batista with relative ease, but could he do the same to Big Show (with the same ease). Probably not. On the other hand, Show could slam Henry just like that if he wanted to.

Pound for pound, might be a different story. Cena maybe, Lashley maybe Batista also maybe. But I've got two other alternatives that people might not think of.
1) Kurt Angle-Now maybe not, because all those neck surgeries have taken their toll on him, but he does have uncanny strength. I've seen him German suplex Taker, Henry, Lesnar and other 300+ pounders with ease. He's even managed to get Big Show up for a second or two with the Angle Slam (probably with some assistance from Show). But remember he's only 220 pounds. That's almost cruiserweight size! I mean, the current cruiseweight champion Gregory Helms is 200, so Angle's about his weight. He definitely doesn't look that small, but in reality he is lighter than most guys he wrestles. 220 pounds is not that much!
2) Samoa Joe-He's not in WWE, but he is definitely strong. I was shocked to hear he's only 280 pounds. He's TNA's answer to Bill Goldberg. I'd like to see him in a ring with John Cena. In real life, he'd squash Cena.

It depends on many different factors, none of which are appearance. The competition was a while ago, but Mark Henry's lifts were:

Squat: 954lbs

Brench Press: 529lbs

Dead Lift: 903lbs

I dont know how much Big Show lifts but I know that It cannot be as much as that. Now something that you said is very questionable and that was SIZE=STRENGTH that not tru in all cases now Animal was always bigger than Hawk but Hawk was stronger. The Undertaker was bigger than Kane and Kane was stronger.

Perhaps you're right in those cases. But in most cases SIZE=STRENGTH. I mean in cases such as Big Show v Rey Mysterio, of course Big Show's stronger. An out of shape 400 pounder (not necessarily obese) vs a heavily chiseled 200 pounder would still have the out of shape 400 pounder shown to be stronger in most cases. I also don't know how much Show can lift when benchpressing, but I just base it on what I see in the ring. After all, there is no limit to who he can slam in the WWE. I'm not judging Henry based on his Strongman feats, so all I can base him on is his slamming of Batista. Wait till he does the same to someone closer to Show's size, then I'll be impressed. Besides, I think he's more obese/fat than strong nowadays.
