Hands down. 18 leagues, 5 champions leagues, dominance over 2 decades and continous high finishes in the premier league and progress in the champions league. Not too mention we are very close to begin pushing for the premier league and with continued investment, will win it in the next 2-3 years. Not to mention we have a world wide fan base and some of the most passionate fans in the world. In our team we have imo the two most passionate players for their club in the world in Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher. We also have the best striker in the world Fernando Torres and One of the best midfeilders in the world in Gerrard. So based on history, present and future, i'm going to say Liverpool, although i'm slightly biased.

18 Leagues and five European Cups? Real Madrid have 31 La Liga titles and nine European Cups. That's 31 to 18. And considering Real won theirs when La Liga was the best league is impressive, ever since the English League has been called the best league in the world, Liverpool haven't come close to winning it until this year, a year Chelsea, Arsenal and United have had poor seasons by their usual standards performance wise.
It will also be very funny to hear what Liverpool fans have to say about their 18 league titles if Man United hold on and win the league this year, taking them to 18 titles.
