Who is the Better Heel Announcer Michael Cole or Don West

Getting Noticed By Management
Now this question has got me thinking for some time and i didn't understand. Well as every WWE fan knows right not Michael Cole is suppose to be a heel announcer as he sticks up for the Miz's attacks from behind, his hatered for wresters who made a name for themselves without the help of the WWE Machine and it got me thinking who is the Better Heel Announcer Michael Cole or Don West from TNA. When Don turned heel he was in my mind the perfect heel announcer you could hate but is still funny. Now for those who don't know the story on his turn is that Don was close to losing his job at the table and Mike wouldn't stick up for him. Now Heel Don was really funny how he would just bag on the babyfaces until the came to the announce table, then he would proceed to kiss there ass until the would leave.

Now i couldn't find any of Don's work as a heel but i do have when TNA made him heel with his "shoot" on Mike Tenay.

And here we have a match between Bryan Danielson vs. Michael Tarver where Michael Cole bashed Bryan for being a vegan, a vertern on the indies, for being a sucess without Vinny Mack or the WWE machine help

Now i want to know who is the better heel announcer was it TNA's Don West or WWE's Michael Cole or was it another announcer

Michael Cole is by far a better heel announcer than Don West. He's a better announcer in general than Don West. Don West was simply never entertaining. I found myself muting my TV more often than not before Taz got there. Cole, on the other hand, is very convincing and very entertaining. And I love his feud with all things technology, even though the Raw GM sends him all the e-mails.

I hated Don West. I really did. When I started watching TNA mid 2007, I had one thought in my mind: "Who the fuck is this guy? Why must he rack my brain every damn week?". I got used to him eventually, but still found him to be quite a nuisance. Then they turned him heel. I just LOVED to hate him and I think it gave Don a chance to be, well... Don. He started cracking jokes, ripping on the babyfaces and kissing everyones ass. I think that someone had told him for 6 years to pump adrenaline out there and after the turn he just relaxed a bit and became really entertaining. I could never take Michael Cole seriously. His place is under The Rock's shirt, holding a microphone like he used to back in the day. I could throw a rock and find a better announcer than him, face or heel. Leave it at that.

Lets see, Don West was turned heel only to be replaced by Tazz? Sure sounds like he got over now doesn't it? Michael Cole is better at being a heel, because people hate him already. Now he gives us even more, and we eat it the fuck up. Michael Cole is a damn fine announcer, and is showing he can be more if needed to be. The answer has to be Michael Cole.

Michael Cole. The biggest thing of not about West's run as a heel was the turn from face to heel. It was a good turn and he came out of it looking strong but what did it do for him in the end? Nothing really as within a year, he was replaced by Taz(z). Michael Cole has preyed upon the IWC's severe dislike (I think hatred is too strong a word) of him & his commentary abilities/style and he's exposed it, turning himself into a heel in the process. In the past few months, how many topics have there been concerning Michael Cole as a heel? And how many were there concerning Don West? In the end, that's the proof that Cole is better than West at being a heel commentator.

You win the interwebs for that one Santino.

Don West was simply never entertaining. I found myself muting my TV more often than not before Taz got there.

Gotcha, you rather listen to Taz flub all his lines and bitch with Tenay about his sub par announcing week in and week out on impact. Or perhaps you watch xplosion where he just fights with JB for the whole hour because they have ZERO chemistry together. West was funny as hell and a lot of times he made bad matches that much better. Taz tries too hard to be JR and talks too much thus never ever actually getting to the point of what he was saying, ever.

Cole, on the other hand, is very convincing and very entertaining

How much does the WWE pay you? . Cole sucks ass, always has. He's such a corporate puppet it's not even funny. You seriously can't tell he's not a fan of the sport? He has absolutely no passion for what he's watching and it hurts his announcing even though he's probably reading off a teleprompter on his desk or repeating what Vince tells him to say. Between him saying each and every company slogan and tired ass cliche there is by the time the opening promo is done only to repeat them again all night and the fact that the king isn't funny anymore I almost wish they'd hire Mike Adamle and Taz back.

I didn't name myself Vintage because I'm a fan, it was the only fkin word I could think of when making my account after watching Raw one day.

I don't know how you can really compare the two. Michael Cole isn't really a full on heel yet, he hates Daniel Bryan, but he also doesn't like Nexus and never says anything bad about Orton, and more tellingly, John Cena. Don West tried far too hard to get over as a heel, and Cole hasn't even begun to do so. In terms of general announcing, Cole is better and there's absolutely no contest. West clearly doesn't have a fucking clue about wrestling and he just shouts like a fat bloke trying to have a shit about completely irrelevant things. Cole may be captain cliche, but he's no worse than Mike Tenay in that respect to be honest, and he is certainly easier to tone out than Don West.
