Who is NXT's first break-out star?

The Breakout star is either going to be Darren Young or Heath Slater.
Slater is paired up with Christian who is one of the most popular guys in the company, and that is going to help him tremendously with the live crowd. Plus this guy looks like a wrestler.

Young is another one who looks the part and having the polar opposite of Punk as his "mentor" is genius.

The breakout star will not be Daniel Bryan.I understand that this guy is a great wrestler, but when is the last time that mattered in the WWE? This guy made Jericho look tall. And Sheamus look sunburned. He came off as less charasmatic than Benoit or Malenko and thats not really a good thing. Honest to God the dude looked like my 6th grade math teacher.

Well when defining breakout star I cannot say Daniel Bryan (Brian Danielson) because he's already a known name that is a proven commodity. He's the star of the show so he can't be the breakout star in my opinion. I've watched youtubes of FCW and seen all of these guys in action. I think that 4 of these guys will be future endeavored (Skip, Young, Slater, Tarver), Bryan will be a star, Barrett will be a big star in a few years, Ortunga will flame out as soon as McMahon realizes the media won't care about him being Mr. Jennifer Hudson. That leaves Justin Gabriel as my breakout star. He's got the wrestling abilities, the look all he needs to do is develop some mic skills. Place him with a good mouthpiece (like Abe Washington or a heel Byron Saxton (pissed for being let go by ECW)) to turn on Hardy by the end of the show and he'll be huge out of the gate in a feud with Hardy and sky is the limit with his finisher and skills.

No doubt after this season of NXT is over, more than one of these wrestlers will start appearing on TV regularly. But the answer is obvious.. Bryan Danielson (or as he's now known, Daniel Bryan).

Even on it's debut, the show was pretty much based around Bryan.. his segment at the beginning, the talk about him through the show and the main event at the end.. Jericho has praised him on his twitter account saying that he will definately be the face of WWE in the future.. and that's coming from the best current wrestler in WWE.. Even Vince was very pleased with Bryan's work.. and Vince normally gives the cold shoulder to little guys.

Besides him I think Justin Angel (or Justin Gabriel now) has a good chance making it big.. If you've seen his matches you'd know he's quite impressive, even for a guy his size he can pull of some great moves off the top rope.. The only problem is the guy does not have the best mic skills, he has a very jumbled accent which affects his way of talking. But still, looking forward to seeing him tonight... Also is it just me or does he look like Shawn Stasiak with an Emo haircut?

Also Jericho has given praise to his Rookie, Wade Barrett.. Never seen the guy wrestle but I'll take Jericho's word for it.

A lot of people on here are jumping straight to Daniel Bryan to win NXT. But i see maybe something different. Let me explain.

At the moment he is already massively over with the crowd, he is the fan favorite. He is also building up quite a nice little feud with The Miz. Also he is already no wins and 3 losses. So what i think they should have happen to him is that he keeps on losing most of his matches, win a couple, but still have more losses, then in one final desperate chance to make it in the WWE he challenges The Miz to a United States champ match and wins the belt, therefore making him part of the WWE, without even having to win NXT. This way you could have someone else win it (Wade Barrett or Justin Gabriel in my opinion). This would also keep the feud with The Miz going, which i think is building to be one of the better feuds in WWE at the moment.

To me it seems just a bit of a waste to give Bryan the win even though he is so over and is obviously going to be a massive star, when they could use it on one of the other guys, really having two winners when you think about it.

What do you think?
