Everybody Has A Price!
Is there some specifically in TNA who will always make you watch TNA because you want to watch them? Even if you think the show is bad while you’re watching it, you will still continue watching until the person you watch it for shows up in the show for a match or segment. There are always those wrestlers who can make you watch a bad show (I’m not saying TNA is having bad shows) to see them and that is exactly the point of this thread. Who are the wrestlers or non-wrestling personalities that will always make you watch TNA because you want to see them wrestling or doing a segment?

For me it’s not one person, its a few people and those people are in the knockouts division. Ever since the Knockouts title was introduces I’ve been a fan of them. Now, I do believe that the knockout division was dying a little when Gail Kim left, but they seem to be doing great now. When it comes to them, I’m happy that they are able to fulfill my need to watch some entertaining matches. I’m not taking a shot at the WWE divas because I like them too, but I tend to enjoy the knockouts matches more most of the time. The people that I have actually been enjoying the most in the knockouts division are the Beautiful People. They may not be the most talented but they are definitely the ones who entertain me the most. I like everything they have been doing since they formed and I’ll be looking forward to what else they do in the coming weeks.

So who is the person or the people you want TNA for?

I watch because of AJ Styles. Although I do not think he would ever been a top maineventer in WWE he definately is the most entertaining wrestler in TNA and I love watching his improvements in the ring and also on MIC I really love his overall product. I also love Kurt Angle and love watching him because I feel IMO he will go down as one of the best 4 or 5 wrestlers of all time.... The knockouts are not bad... overrated but not bad.... at least I dont want to turn the TV off when the y are on like divas

I only watch TNA for the TNA knockouts,aj styles, the motor city machine guns, amazing Red,Beer money, team 3-D,and kurt angle

but the TNA knockouts is the main thing that attracts me to TNA,my favorites are alissa flash, sarita, daffney, and tara. The beautiful people I use to like but now, there kinda annoying and overated, they need to change something with there gimmick

I very much enjoy watching aj styles and amazing red, there amazing

motor city machine guns are good also but there cocky gimmicks annoy me at times

team 3-D and beer money are really entertaining in the tag division, they've put on killer matches

and kurt angle,i've liked him since WWE

Well, I just enjoy watching the overall show, but I've got my personal highlights.

Matt Morgan is number one, to be honest. I'm a huge mark for Morgan. He's one of the only guys in the business that I genuinely get excited about when his music hits. I love his ring work, I love his promos, I love his look, I love the character and all the angles he's done thus far (teaming with Abyss, feuding with Abyss, working the angle/feuding with the Mafia). His match with Styles rocked and I can't wait for the next two. Morgan is probably my favorite singles competitor in TNA, tied right there with Nash (who Morgan is rather reminiscent of, incidentally).

I also love the Beautiful People. This isn't to say I enjoy the Knockouts as a whole - most of them, I'm not a terribly big fan. I like Taylor Wilde and Daffney, but aside from that, only the BP do it for me (in a totally non perverted way, of course). They're some of the best women on the mic in the general history of female wrestling, and they're good wrestlers. They're not technical gods (goddesses) but they know how to play a heel in the ring perfectly. Love has had great matches with Wilde and Tara and if the stream of good female faces keeps up she can only keep that going. Unfortunately she's probably going to be working with ODB...oh well. I also look forward to seeing Velvet break off on her own, as was teased slightly in the spider angle. I figure in a few months she'll turn face and leave the BP to feud with Angelina in what could turn into this era's Trish vs Lita, i.e., great, interesting, female feud.

I like Styles as much as the next guy, and he pretty much goes without saying. I'm a bit of a Rhino mark, but he's not nearly on TV enough. I'm really digging Abyss as of late, and his promos are getting better and better. Honestly, if he could transition this to a feud with the Mafia, he could be the next WHC. He's a big part of my TNA enjoyment, both for his promos and his matches.

So yeah, the highlights of my night are usually Morgan, the BP, Styles, and Abyss, with Rhino thrown in there when he's being interesting (i.e., not interacting with Jesse Neal...). I enjoy the product as a whole, with relatively few low spots for me, but these are what keep me entertained most during the show.

Like most here I love the Knockouts division (better than the Divas in my opinion for the most part), especially Roxxi for some reason when she was still in TNA, but I also like the X-Division. One of my favorite aspects of the WWE was the Cruiserweight division when it was around and I was a little miffed that the belt went away, as well as some of the more entertaining matches. Then again, that's just me.

I watch TNA for AJ Styles, basically because he is fucking awesome, probably the best performer on their roster, always entertaining and well I could go on and on.

Sting is my next choice, the guy is getting on in years sadly, he looks like he's getting on, he moves like he's getting on in years but yet he's still an amazing performer, better than pretty much everyone bar AJ. Plus his promo's in recent years have been some of his best work. Sting can still go.

Beer Money would be my final choice, I just think both guys have bucketloads of potential, not that they should be split up anytime soon.

Special mention goes to Booker and Steiner who are still great assets to TNA in my opinion, in fact I would go as far to say that Steiner is the funniest man on the roster. These two have made the tag division more interesting.

I usually watch to see how the former WWE guys are being used and usually laugh it off at how bad they are being used. One Knockout I love to watch is Daffney. Under all of that makeup and the gimmick, she is truly beautiful. I've been a fan of hers since her storyline with David Flair in WCW.

Primarily, the reason I watch TNA is because of the Beautiful People. General hotness aside, I find them to be the most entertaining part of the Knockout Division and, to be honest, one of the most entertaining aspects of TNA overall. They're not the best in-ring workers in the division, but they're still the most fun to watch.

Secondly, I also like to watch because of Beer Money. They're great at what they do and they're fun to watch. In my opinion, Beer Money is probably the best tag team in wrestling today.

Other than that, I don't particularly care all that much about TNA's product altogether. I think that they have some things going right now that might be promising and could pay off at a later time. But as of right now, not really digging the whole package.

TNA is more action than talk and that's what I like. WWE is WWE and will continue to sell their PG-rated storylines and TNA is taking advantage of that. Much more bleeps these days and I think it's paying off. As far as who I specifically want to watch in TNA, AJ Styles is the first to come to mind. He has really stepped up his game in recent months. Matt Morgan is another one. He has superstar written all over him and I hope TNA recognizes that. He's a 7 ft. version of Goldberg. I also watch these days for the ever-growing metamorphosis of Samoa Joe, who has gone nuts with Taz guiding him. I also like watching Hernandez. Love his power and athleticism. Finally, I like to watch Beer Money, especially Robert Roode who I have said time and again may have a decision to make if WWE flashes a lot of dollars in front of him. Roode is the most WWE-ready in TNA but whether he stays remains to be seen.

I watch TNA for: AJ Styles, Kiyoshi, Daniels, Sting, LAX, and Samoa Joe. Umm even though I havn't seen TNA in a couple of weeks there still the only reason I give a flying fuck about TNA. When Christian was around in TNA I'd watch every fucking week! Just because I am the ultimate peep! >=]

I watch TNA for Sting. He is the one who got my interest in TNA, and I mainly watch because of Sting. But now, I watch TNA not only for Sting, but for Angle, Joe, and AJ. I guess Lashley now too and prolly Mr Kennedy (Mr Anderson now I think). I was thinking of Christian, but he went to WWE. Always been a Christian fan. Anyways, I do think for sure though that with Sting retiring, Ill watch TNA less. I want make sure to watch iMPACT every week for sure anymore after Bound For Glory

It has always been either Sting or Kevin Nash, depending on who was being used by the company at the time. Now that they're using both, it's double the fun. I also watch TNA these days for Mick Foley, not just his matches but his spot on promos as well.

i watch tna because of aj styles, he's simply phenominal. the beautiful people are always great. the tna knockouts division is the best womens division around. tara, awesome kong and odb. motor city machine guns. beer money. the main event mafia. kurt is the best wrestler in the world today, period. big sexy, big poppa pump and booker t, esp booker t are hilarious and kick ass. matt morgans been impressin me lately. mick foley is always legendary. bobby lashley is there now too, i hope kennedy and umaga will be, it'll get even better. believe it or not, stevie richards is awesome. it seems as though ppl become magically better when they leave the E for some reason. and of course the man they call sting. he's the best thing going in tna today, next to kurt

I have to say SAMOA JOE , I am a big JOE MARK no matter if he is a heel a face or being used as crap like now . I for one like watching TNA to watch these new guys that I never seen in wwe or wcw , like daniels-aj-lax-mcmg-beer money even eric young . I just love fresh new faces and I always turn of my T.V when I see booker or stiner or nash and mick cuz it feels like I am watching wwe when I see these guys who are all 40 years old and cant do it in the ring any more .

Another guy next to JOE that I tune in to watch is HERNANDEZ my god this guy is a monster best super heavy wight I have ever seen in my life . TNA can easily have the best main eventers : lashly, joe, hernandez all big guys who can jump around the ring like cruser wights , but to bad tna is in love with sting vs kurt angel :disappointed: .

Why do i watch tna ? First of all good question and a very good post :)

Ok now to the point i watch tna for something WWE just lacks this includes crowd involvment i mean seriously when's the last time you heard a " holy sh*t " chant in WWE or a " this is awesome" chant, this is the sort of stuff that motivates the performers to really hit their best.

2) AJ Styles this guy is simply the best in tna and one of the bets in the world he has a great look great gimmick great music, hes good on the mic and can sell an angle as well as the next guy and his ring work is simply well phenomenal !

3) Tag team wrestling i'll be honest i love tag teams in wrestling I dunno why this is paet of the reason im so pissed with WWE they mucked up tag team wrestling and tried to bury it so for that thank you tna !

4) This is just why its a good company to bare with me, i like how they give the young guys who aren't the best a good shot in a well known company the one example i can think of is brutas magnus, now i'm from the UK and i know this guy from his gladiator days and now hes getting the shit he deserves i think.

I watch TNA for a multitude of people, and I shall outline some of them and the reasons:

AJ Styles:Many, myself included, consider AJ Styles to be one of the best in ring workers and wrestlers in wrestling at the moment. And rightfully so.He never fails to entertain. And that's key to a great performer. His real drawing point, the fact he can get a good,at least watchable, match from anyone. He drew a tolerable match from a very rusty Shane Douglas. He drew a decent match from a currently dreadful Kevin Nash. They aren't easily done. I can't think of anyone else possible of doing that. AJ does what wrestlers are supposed to,entertain. And I will always,ALWAYS,tune into TNA for that reason.

Samoa Joe:
He's like marmite, you either love him or you hate him. Personally,I love him.He was my favourite wrestler up untill recently, namely the Nation of Violence angle, and since then he just hasn't been the same. A lot like AJ,his match quality speaks for itself. Most of My favourite ,matches of recent years have involved the Samoan submission machine. His matches with Angle,Sting,AJ,Christian and Daniels among others have been some of the greatest matches I have ever laid my eyes upon.If Joe went back to his old ways, and started putting on more good matches,he might overtake AJ Styles on my list.

Beer Money:Hilarious. In the ring and outside of it.From the "BEER MONEY!!!" chant to the boozer cruiser, they never fail to make me chuckle.Their promos are great, they ooze charisma, and are great in the ring aswell.Their psychology is great, always getting the crowd involved. They can really make you love them or hate them. And when you see them live(which I have),it just gets better.

These aren't the only guys I watch TNA for.I love X division matches, especially with the guns.lethal, homicide and REd in them.Hernandez entertains me to no end. But,when it comes down to who I would watch TNA for, just because they're wrestling,it would be those that I mentioned above in bold.

I enjoy watching TNA for the more high risk and high flying matches. Also more hardcore and No DQ matches. I agree the Knockout division is good the girls work a more hard hitting syle. I like seeing the vets like Nash, Sting Foley. The MEM has probaly been the best Stable in wrestilng since Evolution. From the originals I like Abyss, Joe and Styles.
What I dont like is some of the pointless segments with Cody Deanor and ODB, and foley beating up a Rocky Bolboa cut out they are unbearable.
Some of the promos have been pretty bad like Creed, Lethal, Booker T, ODB just to name a few. Too many gimmick matches even for the low card matches like Deaner vs Magnus in a ladder match. Its takes away from the prestige the type match.

...about 5 minutes.

Then I change the channel.

Hehe, see what I did there? Comic genius I am.... Anyhoo, in all honesty I don't regularly watch TNA. I tried about a year and a half ago and got about 3 weeks in before giving up. As a New Yorker now a days I may flip through to see what Long Island's own Mick Foley is up to but not even his brilliant mic work is enough to keep me interested. I youtube'd Taz Debut before they took it down... wasn't very impactful (no pun intended) but I wish him luck ya know... guy's gotta earn a paycheck. I here the women matches are ok. If one happens to be on I sometimes invest the time to see it to it's conclusion. Much like Taz I wish "Tara" well and hope she enjoys her time in Orlando. Over all can't really say that many nice things about TNA so as the saying goes....

I generally just love TNA and get pissed off whenever I read or hear spoilers.

But, if anybody got me hooked on TNA, then it's easily the Motor City Machineguns. One of the first TNA matches I saw was Shelley vs Sabin for the X Division title (And I loved Shelley's title reign). Ever since, I've put TNA over WWE. The guns plain and simple.

I watch TNA for the Knockout Division (and the looks of Velvet Sky) They have some great matches, (ie: Alissa Flash vs Sarita)

Also I watch TNA for AJ Styles, Daniels, Lashley and Joe

But more lately ive tuned in to see World Elite, especially since now EY is in World Elite, I kinda like what they are doing with World Elite. Sylvan Grenier is a Road Agent or something, they should have him join as a French-Man, and they need a big Russian like Vladamir Kozlov lol, its kinda neat to see and watch.

I watch TNA because its is an alternative to the mainsteam and for the past 3 years wwe has put on sub-par programing but i think if it were a person it would have to be AJ, "OLD JOE" and now super MEX i love his new gimmick and push and his new music aint bad either he just needs to come up with some new attire

i used to watch tna specifically for petey williams, now it is a mixed bag, yes the knockouts are great to look at, allow me to reiterate the are f'n great to look at. as far as who else do i look for, i love lethal consequences, mcmg, aj styles,

TNA's entire roster to me is full of potential. I watch TNA for TNA because I want them to succeed. However, Samoa Joe/AJ Styles/Daniels, The Main Event Mafia, Motor City Machine Guns, LAX, Matt Morgan and Beer Money come to mind as people I am watching closely.

A.J. Styles, Kurt Angle, and the MCMG.

eveything they do is entertaining. i've always loved aj styles and i started watching TNA because of him. Kurt Angle made TNA 100x better. the MCMG are amazing. they are what london and kendrick could have been. i even loved them in the gimmick wtih the cameras (dam i've completelly blanked on the name). any way these guys are the best thing in TNA

I suppose I tuned in first to see Kurt Angle after reading that he left WWE supposedly cause he was too injured to wrestle 'ever again' - HAH! I'm still very new to the TNA saga, but AJ Styles caught my eye quick. He gets such huge audience pop and magazine buzz that I knew there was a hot story there. And Danielson - he's my number one guy in TNA. He doesn't look big enough to take on the giants, but cool enough and scrappy enough to make you think that he has a chance.

Beautiful People are surprising to me - they seem too prissy to be legit in the ring, but they score enough wins to justify their elitist attitude. If you watched TNA for the very first time and saw 'Barbie' vs Awesome Kong, you'd think 'no way in hell'. But when they DO win, then you start paying more attention.
