I have created a poll which, is for the greatest Guitarists (Electric), and might cover bassists, Keyboardists and Drummers, but my current poll will be for Vocalists.

I MUST say that, I might not cover all the vocalists you may want/like, but then I can only put upto 15 people so, Ill have to make do with what I can get off the top of my head. So, which do you think will be the best?

Some include

David Coverdale, Steve Tyler, Bruce Dickinson and more...

I honestly couldn't decide between Mercury and Rose, so I voted for both of them. Both are just supreme vocalists. Great bands and great songs.

I went with Plant.
In terms of technical ability, he's as good as anyone on there. But what made me vote for him was his influence. He's arguably the most influential singer in that poll.

If I have to choose one from your list, I'd pick Freddie Mercury.

Queen is one of the most underated bands of all time in my opinion. Aside from We are the Champions and Bohemian Rhapsody, none of their stuff is remembered and it's a shame. Truly, the only reason those songs get noticed are because one is used for sports and the other was made fun of in a movie (Wayne's World).

But if I had my choice of any vocalist ever, it would be Eddie Vedder.

I voted for Freddie Mercury. Why? Because he's Freddie Mercury. He was a showman in every definition of the word, and his vocals are unmatched by most. He was the one who made Queen the band that is routinely mentioned as one of the best ever.

I also voted for Ozzy Osbourne, but that's because I have a soft spot for Black Sabbath. He has a unique voice, I'll give him that. But he doesn't stack up against Freddie Mercury. No way in hell.

I didn't read anything on the list past Freddie Mercury. Honestly, if I could pick anyone to sing for my band, it would be him.

His vocal range is amazing, and his interpretation of lyrics in unquestionably amazing. His highs and lows are always right on, and every word he sings stirs the listener emotioanlly.

From rockin to balladeering, no one is better.
