which title run was a mistake?

Honrswoggle!!!!OMFG!!that was completely bs, and IMO it was-someway- a lack of respect for ACTUALS crusierweight wrestlers.

Mark Henry as ECW champ, he was a little bit relevant for the E but c'mon between Kane and the Big Show??!!!:wtf: those guys put could put IMO credibility to the WWECW title.

Jack Swagger. now, don't get me wrong with this one, yes I do think his push was too early and yes, even if I didn't like the push, he became a great talent for SD! HOWEVER, he did a good job as a wrestler, a good job for HIS carreer. being the top dog of SD!...hmm......yeah....that didn't work so well. he was a great wrestler but a weak champion, except with Rey, but again, anyone can look like a monster heel with lil' Rey. oh well...

I think McMahon's ECW title win was a waste - it didn't do anything for him or for the company, and his psycho feud with Bobby Lashley was forgettable. Kane's one-day run was neither a fluke nor a waste. It was just the WWE's way of turning Undertaker heel by aligning him with Kane, while also giving Kane the chance to say that he held gold. Moreover the stipulation was that he'd set himself on fire if he lost. So, Stone Cold didn't get busted open accidentally - it was planned. Kane didn't want the gold for a long time, and that's a different case - that is why it took them so many years to give it to him again. Yeah he should have held the gold for longer during his first title run also and hope that this time he holds it across 2 PPVs, at least.

actually Brahma, the time i was talking about with Vince winning the WWF title from HHH he was a face. and everyone was split between "wtf just happened?" and "holy shit HHH lost the belt!" Vince then turned around and vacated it right after, saying the owner of the company should not hold titles (oh how soon he forgets..) so no, it had nothing to do with him winning the rumble, as it was years after that.. but i still fail to see how Arquette or Russo, or vince winning the world titles is worse than Sheamus or Kahli  i mean, at least they were wrestlers! these guys are figure heads, and (somewhat) actors. why not just have snoop dogg, or bob barker come in and win the world title.

In the 80's I'm going to go with "Wildfire" Tommy Rich. Seriously? He beat Harley friggin' Race for the NWA World Title. Second pick would be Ronnie Garvin. NWA champs are Hall of Famers and then there's Rich and Garvin. In the 90's I will go with the US Title reign for Hacksaw Jim Duggan. He wins by squashing Steve Austin? Really? In the 00's I will go with Carlito winning the U.S. Title in his first TV match and Santino winning the I-C title coming from "the crowd." People shouldn't debut and win titles. Winning titles shouldn't be flukey. It can be lucky, but not flukey.

Tommy Rich wasn't that bad. As a matter of fact alot of guys from his era feel he should have had more than one run as champ.

Ronnie Garvin on the other hand is the one guy you look at and are like "That guy was the NWA World Heavyweight Champion?"

Both of Rey's runs were mistakes. The first was pretty much Rey accepted the "award" on Eddie Guerrero's behalf and it was nothing short of pathetic. His second run was even lamer. There should be no way a 5'6" 175 pound wrestler should ever be the World HEAVYWEIGHT Champion. His matches leading up to his last title reign were just unbelievable. Does anybody think that this little midget should actually have a shot in the ring with the likes of Kane, Taker, Punk, etc. Seeing that over-the-hill midget beat Punk time after time when CM is world's better just disgusted me. Rey is just a mini-version of John Cena. At least when Cena "Hulks up", it can be somewhat legitimate since he's a big guy. But when somebody the size of Mysterio does it, it just has fake written all over it. Rey should NEVER have been the World Champion and Eddie would be rolling over in his grave if he knew how much Rey was using the Guerrero name for his advantage.

Has to go to Arquette..the movie was funny..but this stunt didn't help WCW, DDP, and a few others...to add insult to injury he held the title longer than Kane did in 98!!!!

VKM wasn't a good one...also Bob Backlund..way past his prime..in 94..he beat Bret Hart!!

I would have to say there are a few that come to mind with me. For starters. Great Khali...now, I have nothing against tall people, but, let's make them have some skill, and talent, and ability to cut a decent promo in the ring. How many times was he supposedly 'injured' etc, and pulled out of matches, like the Punjabi Prison match against Undertaker? I mean, even Big Show and Kane can move around with grace, but yet Khali even looks like it hurts just to walk from one corner of the room to the other. I can't understand even if he was a world champ, even after his title runs...why they would also relegate him to random tag matches too with Hornswoggle, Matt Hardy. I mean, his title reigns, just left me wondering "How in the world does this person get a title when there were so many others out there that probably can go SO much further and deliver so much more without being a liability physically?"

Other notable considerations...Candice Michelle, Layla El, Hornswoggle, Vince McMahon as ECW champ...

Three come to my mind:

3. Vince McMahon's WWF title win. This just seemed like an abuse of power to me. He beats HHH for it on Thu. night Smackdown, then turns around and vacates it at the next Raw.:wtf: Only for HHH to win it right back at the next ppv.

2. Hornswoggle. The last cruiserweight champion. Doesn't it make you sick to have to say that `Swoggle pretty much retired a one prestigous title. Maybe VKM realized his mistake and was just too embarrased to let that title belt be shown again.

1. David Arquette. Seriously, how the fuck could this be?:wtf: But then again this was WCW, the same geniouses who gave the great "fingerpoke of doom." So I guess this shouldn't have suprised me.
