My first thread,having goosebumps.

I wanna make it short and simple. We have 4 big-time matches this year at Wrestlemania which are : Cena vs. Batista , Edge vs. Jericho , HBK vs. Taker and McMahon vs. Hart.

It's a tradition that WWF/E have their top faces winning their matches at WM and My memory tells me that each and every year the closing match of WM features a top babyface winning the match or title. However,I think they can't let all of faces win their matches.Much like last year where Matt defeated Jeff. It's a little stale and lessens the excitement of the event.

Of course there is a possibility that none of heels win but choose your favorite heel.

IMO,Bret will win his match for damn sure.Everybody knew that since the very first day that Hitman returned.

I also think Cena is going to win the his match because it will be a shame for kiddies to see their hero being beaten by Batista again.

So there are 2 matches remaining.HBK/Taker bout seems to be a face/face bout again but with the point that this year the outcome will be bitter in any condition,Taker wins , HBK is gone.HBK wins , Streak is over.Draw?a huge disappointment for fans who would have been on their seat's edge whole the time.so I think this one has potential for the match which can give fans a shock.

And finally , Edge vs. Jericho.I think there is a little chance to see Y2J retaining his title. This seems to be a long-term feud so they may let Jericho win.The fact is that both of them have had main-evented Wrestlemania and both have not won.So it really doesn't make any differences between Edge and Jericho.Edge has been a face for a little time by now but in my book he wasn't a mega-face this time so fans can accept him losing IMO.

I think Y2J will win his match and the other matches will have the normal and expected outcome.

So who do you think will or want to be the heel wrestler who may win one of 4 big matches?

Bring it on!

I agree that jericho has the best chance of wining his title match because otherwise he comes off lokking totallyt weak. for the following reasons.

1. he only won the world heavyweight championship because of interfearence by Hbk.
2. Edge madea promise that jericho will get speared every smackdown from now until wrestlemania. i feel like edge will continue to uphold his promise until WM.
3. if jericho loses to edge then he looks like a fail and completely underserving champion.

Look at the last month, won because of interference only then got beaten up bu the same guy every week unil losing to him in a match for his title.

Back to the topic i think Jericho has the best chance of winning his match.

Batista has a chance. First of all everybody knows that Bret Hart will win by the sharpshooter. Second Undertaker will beat Shawn Michaels (i consider Shawn the heel) Shawn will come out on Raw and say he's retired than he'll come back in six months. Third Edge WILL DEFEAT JERICHO, Jericho has never had the world title for more than a month (except the undisputed). Last Batista will beat John Cena I repeat Batista will beat John Cena by Vince McMhon iterfearing in the match.

This is a good thread idea. BUT, if you think about it, the winners are faily obvious if you think about it as who is the ONE heel who has to win. Cena's been in a title match at Wrestlemania every single year since he debuted FFS, so he'll win. I think Hart COULD lose. It's one I'm unsure of, as Hart losing could seriously get some heel heat on McMahon. Another one I'm unsure of is the Edge v Jericho match. It would do wonders for either one to win. Anyway, here's my summary:

Cena vs Bastista- Cena takes it home as the main happy ending match to Wrestlemania.

Edge vs Jericho- Either one of them could win it but I see Management (Vinnie) giving it to Edge

Hart vs McMahon- Fairly obvious ending would be for Hart to win it, but if McMahon is going to stay on TV and develop his character, then i say give it to him.

Michaels vs Taker- If this ends in draw, mass riot. If Michaels is burnt out, Taker takes it. I see Taker winning and them doing the whole "Retirement" thing with Michaels.

As for the rest of the card, I can't wait to see it.

I see Cena walking out of Mania champ again. Side note, every match Cena has ever been in at Wrestlemania has been for a title, and every time except once he won. Cena won't lose to Batista again on a big PPV.
Bret will win. End of story.
Honestly, the HBK-Taker match could go either way, or neither way. If there is a draw though, Taker is 17-0-1. That still looks bad. I see HBK losing, and I have a gut feeling it won't be by much. Probably a rollup or something. The match is too big for a finisher to end it. But Taker won't lose at all.
Now to this one, Edge wins full-on. Jericho may look weak, but people want to see him lose. And, if Edge loses, then the Rumble winner will have lost in their match at Mania for three straight years. So, I see Edge walking out with gold on his waist.

I think Y2J will be the heel to win his match. Because to me it wouldn't be a very good title reign. I also like Y2J Chris Jericho when he's champion because he's always whining when he's not. After a while it gets annoying. But out of all the heels Jericho is my favorite to win.

Bret Hart wins. I really don't see any other way of doing this, because I doubt Bret will be around to wrestle another match at Backlash (whatever they are calling it now). And even if he does stick around, he probably won't be able to wrestle another match physically. So I think it's a no-brainer he gets the submission win here.

With Cena/Batista, it could go either way. If Cena wins, the feud is kind of over with. Cena will also make half of the crowd go home happy (the children). If they want to continue this feud and milk every dollar out of it possible, Batista might pull it off. But I would bet on Cena closing the show with a victory (unfortunately).

Taker/Michaels is another face vs. face deal..so far. I thought Shawn was leaning towards a heel role, but that doesn't seem to be happening now. I have no clue how this one is going to end, and I don't know if any ending will satisfy me, personally.

Y2J/Edge is interesting. Same thing goes here as did for Cena/Batista. Continue the feud, Jericho wins. Stop it dead, Edge wins. I think Edge will win, I don't know if they would want another Rumble winner to lose the main event match (the middle-of-the-card main event, most likely). I would go with Edge here.

So, no, I am not sure that any heel will win. But I do think Batista has the best shot, and I am not sure that will happen either.

Here's my take on the four matches:
Hart-Mcmahon: Hart will win because in almost all of their promos vince got the upper hand and that pattern is always common, the guy who gets beat in the promos suddenly wins the encounter in the ppv.

Batista-Cena: Could go either way, for better long term I think batista should win because their recent promo was good and they can make this feud last until the draft. And whenever they cut promos batista could always say " You never have and never will beat me Cena". But again this opinion is hindered by the pattern and Cena could win to make the younger viewers happy.

Hbk-Taker: Taker wins. well why build a streak for 17 years only to end it.

Y2j-edge: Edge could win coz if he didn't it would make the royal rumble sort of pointless because you go through 29 other men only to lose at the grand daddy of them all. But the pattern again since Y2J has been getting his sorry ass speared week after week and booked to win to atleast make him look credible as a champion to the eyes of the audience that does not think logically about how heels-faces and how heels are used to put faces over.

Bottomline: Only possible heels to win their matches: Batista and Jericho

At least one heel will win at Wrestlemania. If Were talking just World Titles Jericho Wins, Cena Wins I think. I agree with a couple prior posts saying that it would benefit them down the road if Batista wins also, but I think its gonna be one or the other, If Edge Wins Batista will win.

I posted a long ass post about this in the Batista vs. Cena Forum so im not going to go way into detail, but I love the Cena Batista Rivalry these guys work well against each other. I guess technically Miz and Show are heels I believe they will win just cuz Morrison and Truth dont deserve it, and show deserves a credible win at ' mania and they are just a better team. I am impressed with Miz, and I am extatic its not Miz and MVP AGAIN and wrestlemania. I thought last year i was rooting for HBK, I am a fan of both but in the middle of the match Im like hmmm... I donno Got way into the match not knowing what would happen, found myself rooting for Taker to continue the Streak as I do every year. But again I find myself saying if anyone should end the streak it should be HBK. U dont take a 17-0 Streak and end it passing the torch so to speak, because no young talent they have deserves that honor I believe. Shawn and Undertaker is an awesome matchup I say taker comes out on top, but Im still Perched on the ropes personally on this match.

I cant even predict the Money in the Bank Cuz I donno if anyone besides Kane Deserves a Run, Christian has been Champ in ECW though its non exsistent it still happened, but i do like Christian, Id say of anyone in it, Shelton Benjamin the seasoned Vet of Money in the bank whos taken all the Horrifying falls and done some amazing things in that match probably deserves it, I just dont think I like him as champ nor do I see him beating any of the top guys for the title.

Which leaves me with my pick, though theres still a spot left Im hoping for Cody or Ted setting up a singles match between orton and the one who isnt in it. I would pick Cody or Ted if they get in, But from what I have now Im going with Jack Swagger because he deserves a push And hes good in the ring, and while Ziggler is also and both their moves are pretty average, I give the gutwrench the edge over the Zig Zag, because u have to have a good finisher nowadays to succeed. Im gonna end it here cuz I fast forward womens matches, On a final Note HHH beats Shaemus with an emphatic Pedigree, I hope, good to see HHH giving someone else the title shot this year.
