Where's the love for Muse?

Mr. Steve

Everybody calls me Ruxin, Rupert.
seriously...They just put out Uprising and United States of Eurasia frmo their new album The Resistance.

Seriously, these guys are out with apparently something different from Black holes & Revelations

Here's the song Uprising.

And here's United States of Eurasia plus Collateral Damage

I damn sure look forward to The Resistance. What about you?

I look forward to it, they always release pretty solid albums. Always wanted to see them in concert too, chances are I would miss any time they played in the states.

I like the new songs. I'm simultaneously disappointed though.

I heard United States of Eurasia was a joke but will still feature on the album. How is that a joke then? Obviously, it is very, very Queen. Much more so than, say, Knights of Cydonia.

Uprising is better but as a first single it's underwhelming and doesn't seem to fit. It seems more like a hidden little gem you should find elsewhere on the album.

Otherwise, yes, I do love Muse. Showbiz is great, Absolution, OOS and BH&R and all incredible. I've seen them live on a few occasions. I love them. Perhaps too much.

I am a big fan of Muse. But really, I use Muse to look cool, just like I look when I call people mate, and say we are hanging at my flat. Us North Americaners take anything British and use it to make us look better than other non Brit lovers. But really, I love Muse, their music is great. Have not heard their new album fully yet, only listening to about half of it so far, but I must say, I feel a little Freddie Mercury in that. Very Queen inspired album, and I bet you could play it for people and no one would notice the difference if they were not fans of either band.

That and they go "IT WUZ ON TWILIGHT!!11!!!11!!!!" But yeah, it's Queen-inspired. Uprising is an example of that.

Wait you got the new album already, or what?
