Where's Carlito going?

Once again it's draft time in the WWE and one of my more important questions is...Where's Carlito going? Three options here:

1. Stays on Raw: Gets fed to Evan Bourne (a "lower" jobber at that!) and gets embarrassed for the sake of the guest hosts

2. Goes to Smackdown: Better shot at an IC title push but it's doubtful he'll do much more than play the Mike Knox role. Let's hope I'm wrong.

3. Goes to the unemployment line: Yep, as soon as NXT is over, Carlito gets his "future endeavored" papers. That's not cool.

So which way do you think Carlito's headed? I'm personally hoping for option 3so he can go where he actually gets a little respect.

Fed to Evan Bourne or someone else next week, then possibly again the week after, and goes over to Smackdown during the Supplemental Draft. That's what I'm assuming would happen. Him being a mentor on NXT and them regarding this whole "I'm gonna quit" frustration wouldn't go along with them actually wanting to release him. When they want to release someone due to standard reasons, they tend to do what they're doing with Tyler Reks - not put him on TV at all, give him nothing to do, try to turn him heel/face for house shows, then just give up - as opposed to giving him something to do and making it a focal point.

I see Carlito going to Smackdown, winning a match or two and getting a title shot at the IC and will then loose. Carlito, sadly, has had his time and the only thing I see him doing is getting squashed after what would appear to be a small push.

I think he gets moved to smackdown but honestly I dont care. You talk about getting respect he hasnt earned the respect hes extremely talented yet he chose to not workout to not work hard and pretty much do everything he could to piss vince off. Its not like they just decided one day lets see how much shit we can pile on carlito until he quits. He brought this on himself. Hopefully he can turn it around and have a succesful career but if he doesnt thats his fault you reep what you so

i know most of you are thinking he has little hope. but look at it this way. He was chosen as one of the 8 pro's for NXT. 6 of them were involved in Wrestlemania. The two who weren't were William Regal (one of the best technical wrestlers in the WWE today) and Carlito. Therefore, they must have felt some sort of importance on Carlito in order to give him that honor.

i think carlito may be endeavored.......

this short story gives somewhat of a reason for him to leave

plus i think tarver is going to be eliminated from nxt soon

hmmmm............

we'll see

A small feud with a low-carder, wins MITB, and cashes it to win the World Championship.

Sorry, was thinking about Jack Swagger.

Honestly though, anything can happen with him. But I highly doubt he will have a Main Event run. I say send him to Smackdown as "one of those stars that cross over but you don't really hear about it" and let him feud with someone WWE is ready to push, like Morrison or McIntyre if they don't get drafted.

Or if he is to stay on Raw let him work a comic angle with Santino if he himself doesn't leave.

What the WWE has been doing really well lately is establishing their Superstars. This might not go anywhere, but Carlito's short promo left me thinking that's the beginning of an evolution of sorts for Carlito. Either they really do fire him, or he gets a descent push on Smackdown.

As WWE has proven time and time again, it's never too late to develop their Superstars and give them a nice push after being lower-to-mid midcarders for a while. We saw that happen with Eddie Guerrero, to a higher degree Bradshaw (when he developed the JBL character), and recently, Jack Swagger.

If WWE Were going to give Carlito a push They would have done it by now. The only thing I see him doing is another run with the Tag Tittles but I Dont think that will happen because Shomiz and the Hart Dynasty Are Doing Fine. I think after next he'll be future endeavored after a few weeks of not appearing on TV.

I would have to say that what I see happening here, is Carlito gets drafted over to Smackdown, and starts a good long long feud with Finaly, since he hasn't been seen for ages. This feud would end up looking amazing, on top of that really good wrestling from these two men.

I said in the 2010 draft discussion thread that I haven't givin up on Carlto so I think he needs to go to smackdown for a an upper mid card push or something. This was before he even mentioned going to smackdown or quiting. So I do believe in the future he will get a push big or little.

The only thing I can remember him doing wrong was saying in a radio interview that it was BS that Flair was not involved in WM. I think that was before WM 23 and he has been buried ever since. I think him and Shelton would be alot better off in TNA. Problem is, TNA is so over loaded with talent, they don't have any idea what to do with the guys and gals that they have. So until they start a 2nd show, TNA is a bad option as well.
And as far as SD! goes, if I were Carlito, I would NOT want to go there. He would have to work with Michael Hayes. Who, (and I'm just putting this out there to keep this from getting deleted) has been accused of being racist. Maybe he could form a tag team on SD! with Shelton though and call it "Cool's Gold" LOL

I think that Carlito will get drafted to Smackdown. Carlito will have a better chance of starting all over in SD, and probably make a face turn and feud with Drew Mcintyre Over the IC championship. This will get him some tv time and get him of the Jobber level.

Now is he doesn't get draft to SD, I could see him getting fired after NXT is over. Or eve n before NXT is over. And that's not cool, You see I like Carlito and I think that he will be a great midcarder If you give him another chance. But hey it's all up to vince.

I've always enjoyed Carlito. When he's with decent talent and not simply "jobbing", his matches always have a good flow. I also simply enjoy watching lefties wrestle. But I expect Carlito to stay on Raw because Smackdown has enough low-midcard heels. Who's gonna lose to Yoshi & Bourne if Carlito leaves? Chris Masters? He's a good guy now too!

Carlito needs a change, and Smackdown is the perfect place for him. The guy still does have talent, but there are too many high profile stars over on Monday Night Raw to really show it. An IC title push could help him greatly, and I can only imagine some of the matches he could put on with guys like Morrison. Of course if he can't make a brand switch work, then firing him has to be a option.

Carlito will just continue to get bounced around the WWE programming like a racquetball for one reason and one reason only... CARLITO DOESN'T DRAW DICK.

Sorry if that's too harsh of a reality check for everyone, but it's true. The guy didn't draw or raise interest as a US, Intercontinental, or the first Unified Tag Team champion. He's just going to be a guy that's similar to Matt Hardy and Shelton Benjamin; he'll have a cult following, but once the WWE puts him in a decent storyline, it'll flop quicker than a spinoff of Charles in Charge.

Granted, he's great in the ring. Very experienced, safe, and injury-free. But it takes a lot more than that to succeed in this business. He just doesn't have the "it" factor.

Hopefully he gets cut. He looks like a damn bumb, and I can't get into his matches. He has been relegated to jobber, and there really is no legitimate reason to have him on the roster. If you can think of one, please mention it.

His brother is a much better worker than him if you ask me. If he was serious about his career he would do something with himself to make me be able to look at him without cringing my damn face. He is just simply not a draw, and no matter where he goes it really will not matter. The only difference between him and the Brooklyn Brawler right now is that at least the Brawler was supposed to look like a fucking slob.

dont forget carlito has been wanting to quit the wwe a few times over the past couple of years, but vince would not allow him because he didnt want him to go to other promotions for example TNA...there was a post on here a couple of years back when he was teaming with ric flair he was dissapointed that he wasnt on the wrestlemania card that year, and the same the following year, then they bring in Primo who has pretty much the same treatment once their tag team was split up..carlito can do soo much better else where than where he is at the momento

I dont know if this has been mentioned already, but when I saw Carlito in the back talking to Vladimir Koslov about "not being treated properly or getting the attention he deserves" something along those lines, Koslov seemed to agree with Carlito. How about Carlito starts a group, along with Koslov and maybe even Benjamin, and perhaps one or two other guys who seem to be going through the same thing, about being left in the dark. Turn this group heel as hell and just start coming down to the ring and raising some hell. It would get the attention of the fans and their careers would not decimate as it looks to be at the moment.

I doubt he will ever go to the top in WWE, they will just continue to waste him year after year. Same for Matt Hardy.

Please, Carlito is not going to last another in the WWE. The only chance he has is if the WWE decides to put any effort into the tag team. He might be abloe to pair with Primo. I personally see him in the unemployment line with Shelton Benjamin.

Carlito had his shot. I was surprised he got the NXT gig. he has all the ability in the world to get the the ME and be a player, he just doesn't put forth the effort. I say buh bye!

As much as i hate to say it...

I think he's heading to a release..

He's literally been jobbing since him and primo broke up... been almost a year..

Creative has nothing for him as of late. I hope I'm wrong though

But I think he's headed for the unemployment line. You notice his NXT rookie NEVER wins a match, NEVER makes sense. Now with NXT not being picked up for another season, what's letft for Carlito. Anything they try to put him into always gets dropped. So I see him headed to the store with food stamps. I see his stuff getting ready to be EXTREMELY INSANELY clearance priced on wwe.com store site.

To be honest, he really hasn't had a good feud since he had that WM match with John Cena and Jesus.

You never see Carlito ACTIVELY working with his rookie. You only see him watching TV or fighting in the ring himself. Where do you see the interaction with him and his rookie together? Everyone else has done some interacting. Makes you wonder what creative is doing at all with him?
