Where Will They Be?

Super Crazy

CABS ARE HEEEERREEE!!
Well I've decided to start a thread series. I thought I would start off with something basic. Where Will They Be will bring about discussions of wrestlers and their futures, promotions and their futures as well as the industry as a whole.

So tonight, I shall begin my series with this. Where do you see Triple H in 5 years? What about 10 years? I want an honest answer for this, none of that bull about him being champion 20-something times and not putting over talent. Legitimately tell me where you think he will be? Will he be off of television in 5 years? What about 10? Will he become more of a backstage guy, or will he stay on air as in a GM sort of role?

5 years from now, I personally can see Triple H working a slightly light schedule. He's in great shape for his age, so I can see him lasting another 5 years in that ring bar injury. I see him winning the championship maybe another 1 or 2 times also. In ten years, I believe he will be more a backstage guy, and will go around scouting talent from different areas and signing new talent.

Now, tell me what you think will happen?

I believe in five years Triple H will be working a Shawn Michaels/Undertaker-esque schedue, where he doesn't have to do house shows or other extra things. He's in great shape and a top player, so I don't see him completely retiring yet. A light schedule, with fewer appearances sounds about right.

After ten years, I'll imagine he'll have taken over something in backstage, possibly even becoming head booker or even chairman. He could take over Vince McMahon's role on television, while controlling things from behind the scenes.
Possibly he could become a trainer, or a booker. I just don't see him being an active wrestler in ten years time.

I remember reading an interview Triple H did a while back, where he said he doesn't want to be one of those guys who stuck around too long. But I don't see him hanging up the boots any time soon because he has such a passion for the buisness,

Five years from now, HHH will probably be working a very light schedule, which means no house shows, and not too much wrestling on a regular basis. I think he might be thrown into the title picture very rarely, and maybe win one championship in a "the old man still has got it" type of storyline, similar to how it was when Hogan beat him for the Undisputed title at Backlash 2002. I hope some where down the line he will lead Evolution once again (with all different people of course) because I loved that stable.

I'm being completely honest here but I think 5 years from now Triple H will still be in roughly the same role he is now, possibly with a lighter schedule. I think that he will have broken Flair's world title record by then too and will still be in the main event every now and then, but will not be in the title scene as much though because he will be putting over new talent more often.

What about 10 years?

By then I think he will be close to retiring in terms of in the ring. He will likely be working a much lighter schedule like Undertaker or HBK. Another possibility is that he will be the onscreen authority figure replacing Vince and the GM(s) because he will potentially have taken on a more important role backstage in real life at that time.

That's what I think will happen, but we will just have to wait and see because (as the saying goes) anything could happen.
