Where will Cena be at WM??

I <3 Wrestling and Soccer
Now, WrestleMania is 4 PPVs away (SS, TLC, RR and E.C). So, I think WWE will begin their fueds for WM now. They always do. If not now, probably before/after TLC. So the point is, where will Cena be at WM? He's still in Nexus, perhaps he'll be out after SS. He'll then take time to come back to the title scene. So here are some options:

1. vs Wade Barrett (for this WWE will have to lengthen the Cena/Nexus fued and I don't think they can and that is why the came up with this idea for SS)

2. vs Undertaker (yeah. This could happen. Taker says Nexus cost him a match for the World Hvt. Title and buried him alive. So, he could challenge Cena)

3. for the WWE title (now, believe it or not this is the most likely option. He'll get into the title scene some way or the other aftr the Nexus split. But against whom is the question here)

4. Any multiple man match

So the questions to be answered are:
a) Which match will he be in
b) If the title match, agains whom?

I'll choose the title match and against him would be Orton or Miz

I for one would like to see Cena take on Undertaker at Wrestlemaina. That would be a match of epic proportions. Cena is someone who you can buy into breaking the streak, could you imagine the heat he would get if he did? These two would not even need a title on the line to make their match seem big time, leaving the title matches open for some of the up and coming stars.

At this point Cena in another title match will be boring. It's nothing against Cena but him chasing or defending the title as the face has gotten stale. He needs to do something different either

- A Match with the Undertaker since Cena is actually the biggest threat to beat Taker's streak.

- A match with a Legend. Much like Rock vs. Hogan or Jericho vs. HBK, we can probably have Cena vs. Rock or Cena vs. Austin in the future.

- A title match to put someone over. I can definatley see Cena vs. Bryan or Cena vs. Punk for the Title in 2 years time with Bryan or Punk going over with a huge victory.

I think we'll be looking along the lines of a triple threat or a fatal 4 way match. At EC, lets just say that Orton wins the WWE title, I'm predicting an Edge-like 06 run in after the match by The Miz to cash in on Orton/winner of the Raw EC. Next we will have to look at who was champion going into the elimination chamber, which IMO will be Wade Barrett. Then you also have to look at a potential RAW winner of the Royal Rumble. So based on all of these hypothetical scenarios, I'd predict:

Miz (c) vs. Barrett vs. Orton/RR winner vs. Cena in a Fatal 4 Way

Either that or Cena could just take on Taker in a match with a 3 week build-up and bury the streak, for no reason other than he is Cena.

I'm guessing it will be the latter

I know it's been speculated to death, but I can honestly see Cena doing the annual Survivor Series screw-job on Orton this year and turning heel. I know, I know! Who will buy his merch if he's a heel? But with Jericho gone and CM Punk out, Raw needs another top-tier heel right now. I think it's quite possible that he was behind the attack on the Undertaker at Bragging Rights. And hasn't it been speculated for a while now that we'll see Cena vs. Taker at WM27.

Of course, I could be wrong and we'll see another boring version of Cena vs. Barrett.

Undertaker vs Cena is honestly one of those matches that simply has to happen on PPV, preferably at Wrestlemania. If they don't run that match, they will look back and think... wow he really missed a golden opportunity there. It is by far the biggest match they have left and one which could draw in a huge buyrate. Not to mention it would be one of those epic encounters which symbolise what pro wrestling is all about. John Cena, the biggest star of a generation, vs Undertaker, the guy who has been the cornerstone of WWE for 2 whole decades and is undefeated at Wrestlemania. The unstoppable force vs the immovable object. Sure Orton is the top guy on RAW currently, but he's not as big a star as Cena, who has been huge for the last half a decade. These guys have not faced for years and never on a stage like Mania. It would be huge. They could run it face vs face which would be huge (especially with the inevitable speculation regarding a Cena heel turn) or they could have Cena turn first and challenge Taker with Nexus by his side. Either way, this match HAS to happen!

If for some insane reason they decide against the money match, Cena vs Wade would be good, but with Cena already getting his hands on Wade and taking into account the stipulation for Survivor Series, I highly doubt this angle will still be going by the time Mania comes around. I think Barrett is more likely to face Undertaker assuming he is back in time, which wouldn't be bad.

I think it's about time we saw Cena in a non-title match at Mania. He has been in a title match for the past 5 years, winning 4 of them, so it's about time we saw him in a different scenario at Mania, either an intense personal feud or attempting to end Undertaker's streak.

What would piss me off most is if they wasted him in a random triple threat title match like they did in 2009. Cena seemed to be an afterthought in that match. One of their biggest draws, a guy who can get reactions like him, and they stick him in a random triple threat in which the real story was a love triangle between Vickie, Edge and Show? Ridiculous. Cena should ALWAYS be in a one on one match at Mania because due to his own ability and the reactions he generates, they are always huge occasions.

It looks at the moment as if The Undertaker and John Cena will meet at WM27......unless we see the return of HHH to Raw and a possible revenge story line where the anonymous GM is revealed as HHH and the Nexus doing his bidding at Bragging Rights. It will give the writers time to build a story with HHH as a heel (something Raw is missing now CM Punk is out of action for a while). It will also give The Undertaker time to heal, although he is due to come over here to the UK and battle Kane and The Big Show in a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

It also means that the WWE brass don't have to worry about John Cena turning heel and losing any possible long term revenue from the fans.

Far fetched? Maybe not as far fetched as some may think when you sit down and think about..............

One problem: Taker may not be able to wrestle at Mania, and, if he can't come back before that, dont you think the first thing he will do is come back after Kane? I know Kane Taker wont happen at Mania again, but if he can't come back before then, I dont know if I see him having a match, I know. And, this Lesnar Undertaker speculation, that would be epic.

As for Cena, I think he will have a match with Miz for the title. But, if the WWE does convince someone to come back, like Lesnar, or Austin, and Undertaker cant be in the big match, imagine that. Cena Lesnar. One other thing, if they convince Sting to go into the hall of fame, maybe we could see a Sting Cena match. that would be an event.

Still, final prediction, Cena Miz

It would make more sense for him to go after Nexus than Kane, but maybe they'd have him face Kane on TV (seeing as Kane will have lost the belt by then) to get his revenge before going after Nexus and facing Barrett at Mania.

Obviously Taker missing Mania is the nightmare scenario and I am hoping it won't come to that.

The Sting and Lesnar ideas are both highly unlikely, but Cena/Miz is a possibility and would be a decent option. They have history and if they could play off that in the right way, it could be a pretty big match and it could be remembered as the match that "made" Miz. Cena is awesome at making his opponents look strong and they could use the way Miz was humiliated by him back in 2009 as fuel for this.

I'd actually love to see him in the Money in the Bank match just for a little change of pace. I know it's the biggest PPV and he's the biggest star and all that, but it'd be something different with little guarantee that he'd win.

I appreciate different ways of thinking, but that would be a major waste of their biggest star and would defeat the point of the Money in the Bank match.

Is the Money in the Bank even happening next year at Mania though? I thought the PPV had replaced it. Wouldn't make sense to have 3 briefcases.

I agree with this, I actually thought having Batista vs. Cena for the Title at WM26 brought the feud down. This is because feud before EC was already heating up between Batista/Cena and adding the title into the mix made it seem it like was for the title rather then the personal grudge was building up nicely.

Though adding Cena vs. Taker at WM a Title Match could work actually. I am thinking if Cena turns heel his idea of killing Undertaker's legacy is ending his streak and taking the title from him. Of course this can only work if Taker becomes a dominant Champion on the Road to WM, but it looks like that is not going to happen.

I actually though at the time Sheamus vs. Triple H should have been the title match actually. But that's for another time.

Yeh I guess the fact it is Cena would mean he's likely to get a title shot before the next WM. Would maybe work if Cena had to earn a title shot somehow, but then if he is turning heel then that would be tough to see. I just think a 'SuperCena' could actually be quite spectacular in a ladder match/spotfest environment!

I have no idea about the MitB situation actually, be good if they could replace it with another kind of gimmick match to break up the show a bit, but maybe all the gimmick PPVs mean that WM will just be straight wrestling

THIS IS WHAT I THINK TO BE THE BEST WAY TO HAVE CENA AT WRESTLEMANIA...at survivor series cena helps wade barrett win the wwe championship thus letting him leave nexus, the next day on raw barrett is in the ring running his mouth, cena comes out and says if it wasnt for him barrett wouldnt have the championship and challenges barrett to a match at the next pay per view, randy orton comes out and says he gets a rematch and he challenges wade barrett so a match at the pay per view, raw gm comes on and says barrett will face orton and cena in a triple threat match at the pay per view (the one after survivor series)..weeks leading up to the pay per view orton and cena are pretty much working together against nexus..day of the pay per view make it seem like cena gets attacked by nexus and he cant compete making it orton vs barrett..now match is going on,barrett is on defensive for a while until orton makes a comeback, then somehow towards the end of the match john cena makes his way to the ring heroically like he always does and the fans are cheering him on while orton and barrett are both down, cena is looking like hes gonna go for the aa on barrett but instead turns around and hits it on orton while barrett watches, cena then pins orton, then he stands up and him and barrett shake hands and hug and then celebrate with the rest of nexus, crowd and people watching on tv realize that cena was with nexus all along...next day on raw cena, barrett and nexus come to the ring, cena says he has been with nexus for months now and everything he did as far as fighting against nexus was all a setup up for him to get back the wwe championship, cena then says he was the one who ordered for nexus to take out the undertaker, thus setting up the cena-undertaker feud somewhere down the line leading up to wrestlemania

Heel Cena as WWE champion taking on......THE GAME Triple H.It's a wish that might not come true but it will be awesome.Ya I get that Cena faced HHH at WM22 but that was a poor match.A heel Cena taking on the top face HHH will be my choice.
