When will Sheamus cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase?

Terry Gyimah

Championship Contender
Sheamus who won the Money in the Bank briefcase back at Money in the Bank he still has that briefcase but the question is is at which PPV will The Celtic Warrior cash in at? Or will Sheamus cash it in on a RAW or Smackdown episode? Either way Sheamus is guaranteed to be our next WWE World Heavyweight Champion especially with him walking around with that briefcase he could cash it in on Rollins at any time so Rollins will have to look over his shoulder every single time because he will never know exactly where or when Sheamus will use that briefcase hell Sheamus tried to but his cash-in was thwarted by Orton so it begs the question of when Sheamus cashes in?

Sheamus I see him cashing in either at Night of Champions cashing in either Rollins or whoever Rollins faces at Night of Champions most likely Cena but if it doesn't happen there then the latest I see Sheamus cashing in would be TLC or Royal Rumble

Yeah, around about October time. Either he cashes in on Rollins or on somebody else who may have taken the belt from Rollins before then.

If Rollins still has both titles by Night Of Champions, he will be wrestling twice that night since every title has to be defended. Seems like the perfect opportunity to take advantage of an exhausted opponent.

when will Sheamus cash in? I will give you a date and you all can argue about it as much as you wish.....WWE Payback (May 16, 2016) PPV. Sheamus has been cast as Rocksteady in the new TMNT movie that Opens June 3rd 2016...so he WILL BE CHAMPION when the movie releases.

Sheamus cashing in at WWE Payback that is a long time for a wait to cash in his briefcase but honestly I see WWE pulling the trigger on Sheamus cashing in either at TLC or at Royal Rumble, why I say that is because I am sure they want Sheamus to have his title reign but then he will probably end up dropping the title to either Cena or to Rollins because Rollins is the golden boy

This seems like a perfect situation for him to cash in his contract. Brilliant idea mate!! I assumed Sheamus will cash him once Seth Rollins dropped himself out of the Authority and calls himself the supreme Undisputed Future irrelevant of how the Authority provides him the offers with. Or he might lose the belt to Sheamus once he turns face completely at some point after The Night Of Champions. But your opinion is an overwhelming choice in this context

Cheers!!

Plus with Sheamus cashing in on Rollins after he has been in 2 matches in 1 night at Night of Champions after Rollins defends both the WWE United States Championship and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Sheamus picks his spot and cashes in on Rollins then wouldn't The Authority go after Sheamus for cashing in on their golden boy?

Makes sense. WWE loves publicity. What better thing to have Sheamus on the red carpet with the WWE WHC.

I don't think Rollins will be the champion when Sheamus cashes in. I could see Rollins losing his title at WM. I think the champ will probably be Reigns or Cena.

Yes but even if WWE does take advantage of Sheamus' publicity will they have him cash in at that time? I think best bet would be also to have Sheamus cash in at WrestleMania 32 because at least that way if he plays it that way cashes it in at Mania then he would be the champion heading into WWE Payback

I'm hoping he fails he cash-in. I'm a fan of Sheamus, but he doesn't deserve to be WWE Champion and competing in the main event scene. He's an upper mid-carder at best.

I can see Roman Reigns taking the title from Rollins at SS. Sheamus then fails his cash-in on Reigns.

I would rather Sheamus successfully cash in because Sheamus he hasn't had a WWE Championship reign since 2012 well the last time he ever held a World Title was the then World Heavyweight Championship so Sheamus is long overdue in my opinion for a title reign in the main event and considering how they were pushing him post-return I think he more or less deserves at least 1 or 2 more title reigns in his career at least

TONIGHT

Sheamus will crash Seth's statue celebration. Trips/Steph turn on Seth.

Roman Reigns wins the title from Seth Rollins at Survivor Series, then Sheamus cashes in and beats Roman for the title.

Sheamus cashing in at Hell in a Cell would actually be perfect think about it the WWE World Heavyweight Champion whoever it is either retains their title after a grueling Hell in a Cell Match or whoever the challenger is wins the title inside the Cell only for Sheamus to pick his spot and cash in, it is actually genius because after a HIAC match the competitor will obviously be injured and Sheamus takes full advantage it's smart really

I THINK SETH WILL BEAT PUNKS RECORDS AND BE CHAMP FOR MORE THEN 434 days and NIKKI WILL BEAT AJ RECORD WHY JUST CUZ WWE CAN AND SHEMUS WONT CASH IN UNTIL MAYBE EVEN THE MITB PPV NEXT YEAR (and have that years MITB as the main event and the title match the co main event )

I hope he never does. He's gotta be the least talented, least deserving MITB winner of all time. Boring.

At Night of Champions after Sting beats Rollins, becoming the biggest and top heel in the WWE.

Sheamus would get heel heat like no one else but if Sheamus cashed in on Sting at Night of Champions then Sting he would be entitled to a rematch but then so would Seth Rollins since Sting beat him and then you eventually would have a Triple Threat with Sting, Sheamus and Rollins

My guess would be at Night of Champions. We have seen a cash-in at Wrestlemania, multiple at Summerslam, at Money In the Bank's PPV, as well as on episodes of Raw or Smackdown. Night of Champions would honestly be the best option as that night is meant to be all about the titles anyway. Whether Seth Rollins retains or not, I predict there is a strong likelihood of a Sheamus cash-in. The only better option would be for Sheamus to hold onto the briefcase long enough to have won the World Heavyweight Championship before even using it, then the briefcase becomes an extra opportunity to win the belt back immediately upon losing the belt. Instant rematch. We have never seen the briefcase be used to defend a World Championship before. It's always been a weapon against a champion instead. This would change things up, but my pick is still a Night of Champions cash-in.

Sheamus will cash in at HIAC, Sting beats Seth at NOC and than Seth wants his rematch at HIAC. Seth wins his rematch and than HHH sends out Sheamus to cash in.

Sheamus will cash in on Sting, if he wins the belt at Night of Champions.

I can see that happening. Unless you're a big fan of the fella, it seems this cash-in will be more about whom he takes the belt from than about Sheamus. At this point, cashing in on, say, a champion John Cena would be far from dramatic. At the same time, it would seem extraneous for Sheamus to use his MITB privileges to take the title away from an up-and-comer like Roman Reigns or even Seth Rollins. Where's the sense in that?

No, since the Sheamus briefcase reign is a less event exciting than most, it would be useful for him to take the title belt from a brand new champion for whom a short reign was planned.........Sting fits the bill just fine.

May Sting's reign be glorious, triumphant...............and brief.

Signs point to Sheamus cashing in tonight at NOC. Orton didn't have a match at SummerSlam when he cashed in. Bryan didn't have a match at TLC when he cashed in. Ziggler and The Miz didn't have prior matches on RAW when they cashed in. Sheamus is not competing at NOC and with the champion being either a very tired Rollins or a very old Sting, the odds are in his favour. Sheamus has also been a HHH guy backstage and could very likely be what The Authority picks to replace Rollins with when he turns face.

I think that Sheamus may be an unsuccessful cash in...which I believe is the most hopeful of all choices.
