When the WWE Network launches, what's the 1st thing you're going to watch?

I'd watch every raw and wcw monday nitro from the very first episode they clashed against until wcw's final episode.

Me to. From Lex Lugar making his surprise debut at the Mall of America to the Sting defeating Ric Flair and hugging in the middle of the ring.

I also want to see the RAWs where ECW invaded.

Are they going to have all the old ECW shows outside of PPVs? I hope they eventually do. Some good storylines during that time.

I won't be one of the first to sign up. I'll likely do that the next morning/afternoon. I start work at 6. Being one of the first to sign up isn't that much of a priority for me.

WrestleMania 26 is my absolute #1 must re-watch when the network comes out. Taker vs. HBK for the last time, Bret Hart returns, Legacy falls apart. Definitley my favorite PPV from the past ten years.

What is so special about RR04 that you would choose that PPV to decide if you are going to get it or not?

Apparently, it's some notion that if they cut anything pertaining to Benoit, then it's not a pure product. Basing off of that seems arbitrarily ridiculous.

I just want to make sure if it is legit. If it is true that it is uncut/uncensored then thats 1 reason for me to look into buying it. Another reason I would buy if it does serve quality streaming service as WWE stated to us.

Anyone want to take bets on whether the "Benoit tribute show" they aired that night, before they knew he murdered his family, will be available on the Network?.....didn't think so.

I agree with you, they probably won't have it on the network considering the fact that they didn't know that Benoit murdered himself and his family. If it is on the network then I will be really suprised at that.

As a kid I wasn't allowed to watch wrestling, so I'm starting from the beginning. I want to see all of the matches that I missed as a kid.

I live in Canada. I am wondering if anybody knows if Bell will be carrying the WWE Network when it debuts on Feb 24th? I am also able to get Direct TV and Dish Network need be. Does anybody know if Direct TV or Dish Network will be carrying the WWE Network once it launches on Feb 24th?

Wow.

The Network is not being carried by cable or satellite providers. It's not a "channel" on television.

You can get much more detailed information about it elsewhere, without asking people on this board to explain it to you. Like the WWE website perhaps.

I'd probably try to get caught up with some of the feuds I missed out on like Cena vs. Orton from 2007-2009, Batista vs. Orton etc

It would be interesting to see how the storylines compared back then like now.

I will probably go back and watch all the Attitude Era Raws and review them and put them on here. Just so all you AE marks can see visually just how awful and trashy the majority of the shows were.

Kidding and masochism aside, probably the oldest stuff I can find. The Wrestling Classic, old Sammartino and Harley Race. Four Horsemen stuff, etc.

Probably Punk vs Cena from Raw last year. Just for the awesomeness that match was.

I'm looking forward to seeing old NWA/WCW matches in that little sound stage where they could only fit like 20 people on folding chairs.

Some of the greatest matches ever in that one tiny room that made TNA's soundstage look like WM3's Silverdome.

Going to binge watch NXT for the last year plus. The best wrestling show the WWE has these days. Then NXT Arrival.

Then 1997 Raw's during the rise of Austin/Rock and the awesome heel turn of Bret Hart.

So how is this going to work? When the network launches are we going to have a list of different things to watch...or is it going to be more like a TV network that you'll watch whatever is on?? Interested to see the free trial next Monday.

As for that original topic...I'd like to watch the Raws from 95-96. Kind of an interesting time for WWE.

I have no clue yet. lol I must admit that I am NOT a WWE fan. I liked the WWE when I was a kid, but then I started watching WCW until the WWE bought it out. I gave up on wrestling at that time. Every once in awhile in the past few years I would watch TNA, but not so much now that Hogan, Styles, and Sting are gone. I don't care about the current WWE product at all. Having said that, I will sign up the WWE network the first day it comes out. I'm not buying it for current pay per views. I will be buying it for all of the old content...especially the NWA/WCW pay per views. I may watch the WWE pay per views since they are included, but I'm not even sure.

I'm probably gonna either watch their special shows like Wrestlemania Rewind, The Monday Night War, and WWE Countdown, cause I like watching documentary-like programs, and I'm curious to see how these are portrayed. Especially the Wrestlemania Rewind. Those could be some really interesting episodes of television to watch as they could go much deeper on one particular Wrestlemania or a match compared to the great History of Wrestlemania DVD that came out a few years ago.

As far as all the ppv events that are gonna be on there, I've got a few old ppvs in mind I'd like to watch again. Like Survivor Series 89, Summerslam 89, Summerslam 91, and Survivor Series 95. Actually most of the Summerslam and Survivor Series events from 1993-1997 as I don't have the DVD sets of those events.

And I'd also like to go back and watch more of the WCW ppv events from around 1990-1994 ish, as that's when I started watching wrestling on a regular basis, but I was pretty much all WWF and occasionally caught WCW on TV. I've never seen the majority of the old WCW ppvs in their entirety, so that'd be cool to go back and watch that period with all of the weird ppv concepts and great talent they had.

Then calling it a network is a lie. Networks are groups of affiliates that broadcast TELEVISION shows on oh, what are they called, ....TELEVISIONS. If it's just a WWE run version of Youtube or Pornhub, then by definition, IT IS NOT A NETWORK!! They've also been promoting it as being an addition to your cable or satellite package, which by definition IS a network, or at least a channel.

Don't talk down to someone who has a legitimate quesiton bout a confusing marketing scheme that WWE has thrown at it for this new service.

Given all of the great matches in this collection, I will be zooming STRAIGHT to the two episodes of Monday Night RAW co-hosted by Rob Bartlett. After that I will catch up on the PPVs from the time I didn't watch wrestling (2003-2009).

Sidebar: I heard that most Benoit things would be on there, shown with a disclaimer.

I am reading a lot of posts in this thread from people that plan on watching all the old raws, or certain raw episodes. The Raw and Smackdown libraries are NOT part of the network, at least not at launch.

Agreed. From what I understand, it's only PPVs and original programming like Legend's House.

I'm not going to sign up that night. I probably won't even sign within the first week.

I still think they are throwing a curve ball and not being truthful about that initial $60 sign up fee for the first 6 months. I call BS that you only pay $10 and say "Oh yeah, I'll stay committed for the first 6 months." It doesn't work that way when people can cancel whatever card they used after WM30 is over.

I also want to see some reviews for those who have it and see what they think.

It's worth it. And I will eventually get it. I just don't feel like being the guinea pig.
