When/How will Summer Rae turn Face

Summer Rae was recently announced as a cast member for the new series of Total Divas. WWE for some reason wants Total Divas cast members to be faces and non cast members to be heels. Therefore the fact that Summer Rae has been announced as a cast members seems to me as if it will be followed by a face turn. This sets up the questions of How and When she will turn face and what that means for Fandango. Hopefully this happens soon so Johnny Curtis is able to get a gimmick that shows his talent and gives him a chance to progress in his career. As WWE divas are not a big part of the show I cannot see a way of doing it that would create in the slightest amount of interest therefore I want to see if anyone can come up with an idea of how to do a face turn that would benefit hers and Johnny Curtis' careers.

This is an easy one. She appears on the first episode of Total Divas, the next night on Raw she tags with the other Divas in a multi Diva clusterfuck. Thus making her face by default. Look at the Bellas, they were the heels, and AJ was the face, then boom all of a sudden they are good guys because AJ said they suck. So AJ becomes even more over with the crowd, who was already cheering her, and the heel Bellas squawk at her, thus somehow turning them good and AJ bad. She can still be with Fandango because the WWE doesn't care enough about the Divas to make there storylines matter.

Theres your standard cookie-cutter way to turn a heel's female valet into a babyface.

It's either that or, as JJ above noted, she becomes a face out of the clear blue based on the face that she is on Total Divas.

I agree, but as the OP noted, the WWE has made it clear they want the Total Divas cast to be faces, and the non-cast members to be heels.

Since Total Divas is scripted like a soap opera to an even greater degree than Raw or SD maybe Summer is going to be the TD heel and recruit Eva as no one is ever going to like her. It would be a huge mistake to turn Summer face given how natural she is in the heel role.

I agree that she should be a heel. I also think Eva Marie and the Bellas would make better heels and AJ, Alicia Fox and Layla should be faces but Total Divas = Face and Non TD = heel

We shouldn't forget that we are talking about WWE divas here. Sorry for being anti-climatic, but it will most likely happen just randomly without any build up as such. For example, one fine night, she is having a match... Her opponent cheats but she doesn't. Boom. Automatic face turn! Another possibility is that the fans start liking her dancing and begin to cheer for her, and then what I mentioned above will happen. Either way, don't expect much. Oh, and the third way is if she is put into the face team of divas a few times, in one of those random ass 6/8-divas tag team matches.

Did anyone notice Emma's thong when she attacked Summer Rae on Smackdown. You could clearly see her black thong on a couple occasions. Emma is definitely the hottest diva in WWE. She should take the belt from AJ. I really hope she gets pushed.

No way should she turn face. Anyone who has seen her work on NXT will agree, Summer Rae is a great heel. Having her be the heel in a feud vs. a face Emma is best for business. It appears the WWE agrees because there are no signs they are turning Summer Rae face.

Finally a real feud to give the divas division some legitimacy instead of lazy Total Divas vs. non-Total Divas booking.

Did anyone notice Emma's thong when she attacked Summer Rae on Smackdown. You could clearly see her black thong on a couple occasions. Emma is definitely the hottest diva in WWE. She should take the belt from AJ. I really hope she gets pushed.

Emma is the total package. Looks, personality, charisma, an interesting character, and wrestling ability. I'd be shocked if she doesn't become an AJ or Trish level star in a couple of years. Summer Rae has all of that also except she's not the best wrestler, although she's still way ahead of most of the divas and her wrestling style fits her character well. These two along with AJ should be pushed, and it looks like that's what's happening which is good. AJ even put them both over on commentary on Raw as being much better than the rest of the divas, which is 100% true.

I hope that this feud brings Sasha Banks up to the main roster as well and they start a tag team and WWE creates a division for them, The Bellas, Aksana and Alicia, Funkdactyls and Eva & Natalya(Eva needs someone to carry). There is potential for a womens tag division

However as I said before Summer, Bellas and Eva would be better as heels and AJ would be better as a face but WWE and I think E network does not want a Total Diva to be a heel

I don't think she should turn babyface. Personally, I'd rather see Charlotte and Sasha Banks brought up from NXT so that the BFFs could continue on the main roster. While the BFFs are essentially something of a rip off of The Beautiful People, they're not remotely as ditzy as Angelina Love & Velvet Sky were. I don't mean that as a negative, as Angelina & Velvet were the only two worth watching in TNA for a while, but it's not a total rip off since they don't portray themselves as a mean, hot girl high school clique.

But, I don't see it happening as, I think, Charlotte came back from an injury not too long ago and Sasha just turned 22 less than a month ago. Also, realistically, neither of these two should be brought to the main roster in front of Paige. It's bad enough that Eva Marie is on the main roster, but at least Charlotte and Sasha have had training, experience and genuine ability.

Given that the novelty of Fandango looks to have long since worn off for WWE management, I'd say it's just a matter of time before Summer Rae goes solo and using the Total Divas reality show could easily be used as a springboard to break them up. WWE hypes up Summer Rae as this bright young star, Fandango gets jealous to see that his "dance partner" is progressing in her career, etc. It's pretty hackneyed, though it wouldn't be the first time a mid-card wrestler and his female valet/manager or whatever split up due to the guy getting jealous.
