When do I see Lesnar returning from suspension?

Terry Gyimah

Championship Contender
As for Lesnar since he was "suspended" from WWE by Stephanie McMahon I can see Brock Lesnar returning by SummerSlam to set up his rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship seeing as how Brock never got his one on one rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship I see Brock getting that at SummerSlam in NY/NJ but it all depends on who the WWE World Heavyweight Champion is by then? If it is Rollins then I can see a Rollins vs Lesnar SummerSlam main event match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but if Rollins isn't champion by SummerSlam then I see either Reigns or Orton as WWE World Heavyweight Champion by then or it could end up even being Cena or Bryan

Lesnar will come back as a face and I think Rollins will be the champ still.

Stupid not to have Lesnar come back and try to decimate Rollins for stealing 'his' championship by cashing in.

When Lesnar does come back, and if he comes back as a face, he shouldn't win the title back of Rollins. The thing with a face is it's so much better to have them chasing. If he comes back and beats Rollins for the belt then it will kill the credibility of all the people who will have challenged him in the prior months and come up short.

I wouldn't even give him his shot. Tell him as further punishment he doesn't get the obligitary title re-match. They can also say that The Rock didn't, Randy didn't, Daniel Bryan didn't. Hell Batista didn't even get a fair crack. The only person that did was John Cena back at NOC. Take Lesnar away from the title scene and bring him into the Authority storyline. Have the authority screw him over and over. The only downside I see with this is that it the pay-off would be a HHH Vs Lesnar match. Maybe The authority will have new muscle who can go up against Lesnar. It could be Reigns if they they do a Russo swerve and have him join them. He could reason that look how well Seth has done.

Another potential scenario is with the rumours of Rhonda Rousey been at 'Mania next year to take on Steph, they could do HHH/Steph Vs Rousey/Brock

If Lesnar doesn't return by SummerSlam or even the night after WWE SummerSlam 2015 then I think they will hold off on Lesnar's return until Survivor Series and honestly when is the last time Brock was ever on a Survivor Series card? The last time he ever was was Survivor Series 2003 when he captained his own team to face off against Kurt Angle's team so Lesnar he should be at Survivor Series this year for 2015 but if they have him come back sooner than that then SummerSlam would have to be the next best option but personally if I had it my way I would have Brock Lesnar return as a surprise entrant in the 2016 Royal Rumble Match as a participant as a surprise entrant and imagine the response Brock would get if he returned in the Rumble Match Brock would have to be the odds on favorite to win it and go on to Mania and be in the main event for the 2nd year in a row

Makes sense. Summerslam return. Personally I'd like to see him return at Battleground and try to elevate that PPV, it's been awful the past two years.

I think so too, yet if that's the case when he gets back, you've got to think to yourself.......only in pro wrestling.

It seemed WWE was doing everything they could to make Brock into a good guy in the days leading to WM31.....if for no other reason than the fact that Seth Rollins was coming off as even worse, making Brock a face by default.

So, what did they do? Have Brock tear up everything in his path the day after the big event, and even while many of the fans were cheering the sight of the announcing crew and a cameraman getting beaten up, the segment was still meant to cast Brock as a bad guy. Of course, by the time he comes back to WWE, we will have forgotten all this and will be so thrilled out of our socks about seeing him again that we'll cheer him to the rafters. Only in pro wrestling.

Of course, many of us have been giggly excited that Brock signed a new 3-year deal, erasing the notion that he'll leave for UFC. It seems to make him less of a mercenary, no? We can ratchet up our interest since he'll undoubtedly be around much more, right?

Well, apparently not......if he's not coming back until Summerslam, then he'll be away for a longer span than ever before......and by the time he appears again, he'll seem more mercenary than ever. Yet, we'll still cheer him. Again, only in pro wrestling.

C'mon, Brock.....come back much sooner than Summerslam and make us believe you give a damn. There's no one else competing for your services this time around.

I wouldn't bring him back until the build to Summerslam and even then I wouldn't give him Rollins to work with. I'd have him come back and say he wants to fight Rollins but I'd have the Authority say that he lost his rematch clause when he got suspended so tough luck. I'd think about having Brock v Rollins as my world title match at next year's Wrestlemania even, have Brock win the Royal Rumble to get around the Authority and get his shot.

All of this highlights one glaring problem in the WWE though. Seth Rollins is the only top level heel that is worthy of working with a PPV attraction like Brock Lesnar. The biggest flaw in the first paragraph plan is who do you have Brock face off against if it isn't Seth? Sheamus perhaps will be ready by Summerslam but outside of that you're looking at a rehash feud with Big Show and that would be a huge waste of Lesnar's star power.

First of all, Lesnar is being handled magnificently imo. The Raw angle MAY have been meant to solidify Lesnar as a heel, but if WWE didn't see the fans going nuts for that segment than they really are out of touch. However, I'm of the opinion that WWE was going for a face turn judging by the "legitimate" attack on Cole (who people love to hate) and the tongue-lashing from Steph. As soon as Lesnar renewed his contract, I thought that WWE should get rid of the "mercenary" aspect of his character and make it seem as if Lesnar actually cares this time around... that's a check. Kayfabe wise, he has a reason for not being around now... another big aspect of his face turn.

As for the OP, I too see Lesnar returning at Summerslam and tbh, I don't really want to see him until than. I'm guessing his contract is very similar to his previous one, and to have him return for something meaningless before leaving again would hinder his momentum. Have him come back strong as a face heading into SS against Seth Rollins... that way Lesnar can be used more frequently heading into Mania. I really don't see Lesnar losing clean, like... ever again, so I would be intrigued to see the outcome of Rollins/Lesnar at Summerslam for the WWEWHC.

They'll keep him off TV until they get their ducks in a row. I believe that they fully expected to have Reigns win at Mania, and now with Rollins having to cash in it's throw a spanner into the works.

Now they will have to readjust and start over again. I would like to have seen a face carry the title for a little while instead of another heel, but there you have it, it is what it is. Fully expect Lesnar to be told that he's lost his rematch because he went berserk and he'll have to get his title shot back the hard way.

That means a lot more TV time for him and he'll have to actually fight on RAW instead of just at PPV's. So it will be interesting.
