When is the ECW company (not One night stand) actually coming back and will it be like a seperate programme to smackdown and raw? Like raw is on tuesday (or whatever) Smackdown is on friday and ECW is on another night?

ya wrong forum but to answer your question, june 13 is the first episode at 10:00 pm on the sci fi channel

ECW, Raw, SD = WWE. Do people not realize ECW isn't actually coming back??? Come on, Raw and SD and ECW stars are getting their paychecks signed by Mr. Vince McMahon, so it's all WWE. Why don't people understand this?

is the SCI-FI channel owned by the same companies that own USA?

yes it is, and there is say if ecw gets high ratings it could be moved to usa

^I hope so, cause i heard a rumor that Sci fi wants to have aliens on ECW. That would just destroy it imo.

Gotcha, was out of town.

I hope ECW come back as a full time show for a while, the FX Deal sounds like it'll last.

haha totally agree, and i don't get how there gonna make aliens on their show, don't see anyone dressing up in an alien suit

Well, this is quite an interesting mess Vince has got himself into this time. ECW is of course recieving the full backing of the WWE and Vince McMahon, otherwise you wouldn't be seeing this confusing, contrived, cross-promotional plotline. That being said, the ECW brand is very reputable in the wrestling world and shouldn't have a problem building on their already massive fan base. My only concern here is that the "curtain" behind which McMahon sits will be much too thin, and the enormous corporate stain he has left on the WWE will bleed over to the "new" ECW, thus registering the entire project a transparent cash-grab. Not to be overly cynical, but VK McMahon won't even get near something unless it pays off in multi-millions. This is why I still don't know what to make of this barrage.

On the positive side, I have to admit that no matter how long it lasts, or under whose control, it's going to be great to see some true talents like Rob Van Dam, (who has been very poorly promoted in WWE) along with some of the other forgotten ECW stars who are spectacular wrestlers/and or ring performers be thrust into the brightest spotlight of their careers. I feel that if given sufficient time and proper backing these wrestlers will get over big with the mainstream, which will hopefully lead us away from the stale, boring in-ring commentary and pontification and back to what wrestling is supposed to be. What a novel concept huh? Whatever his true motivation, there's no doubt that McMahon is beginning to feel more than a little uncomfortable and realizes he must adapt or be eaten by his edgier, more authentic competitors. It's quite amusing really, makes me wonder if Vince believes in karma... :scratchchin:

no sci fi and usa arnt owned by the same person its just wwe is renting air time for 3 different stations upn sci fi usa ecw is coming back for only a hour a week untill they get more superstars like the big wrestling draft that is gonna be with ecw smackdown and raw
