I don't know if anyone's noticed, but some avatar's seem to have gone over there bandwidth limit. What's up with that? Are people using them too much? Or are we really posting way too damn much? Damn new guys should look around and find their own unique avatar's rather than use one somebody already has. I know I did.
I blame this Hulk Hogan/TNA news. It flooded the forum with Hogan will save/doom TNA threads.
Bandwidth on Photobucket is determined per account, not per image. So, it really has nothing to do with the new guys.

The fact that you all have as many avatars as you do is because I'm awesome, and have way too much time on my hands. The reason they are not hosted on the server is because Crave doesn't give just anyone the ability to write to their servers. A moron will be able to tell you why, if you don't know.
The avatars are hosted by Photobucket, that much is clear. I assume they are probably hosted under a username that has a lot of graphics updated to it. Sometime the bandwidth is exceeded and it takes a while for the issue to get resolved. Don't fret though, this happens from time to time and Sly hasn't failed us yet...

The avatars are actually hosted under 5 or 6 different usernames to help prevent this from happening. 4 of the accounts I have made, and one or two Luther has made.
The ones that are out are a Luther account. One of these days I'll probably move them over to some of mine because I should have quite a bit of bandwidth left over each month, but I just haven't yet.
In fact, they are hosted under a photobucket account called WZ avatars. They all look fine on the page so it must be a linking issue to the forum.
As I said, there are numerous Photobucket accounts that are hosting the avatars. One of them has gone down.
I know about the bandwidth crap. I went through it not too long ago, but it surprises me that whoever deals with the avatars doesn't pay the Pro fee, or at least gets help to pay it? Is it really possible to be a link problem?
There's not a fucking chance in hell I'm going to pay money so people I don't know can have a 100x100 image on a wrestling message board.

Yes. There used to be collections here, probably before you joined in fact. The collections were lost for some reason and only a few of them showed up. The problem was that they were not linked to the server properly, I believe.
When Crave took over, they actually spread the forums and website over two or three different servers, because they host several websites all together on the same servers. When they made the transition to several servers, it broke the paths that the forums were looking to in order to find the images. To be honest, I'm not sure the images are even on the server. Luckily Luther went back in the Archives and found all the images that were in the last update, and re-uploaded them to Photobucket.
Nevertheless, there is no need to pay the Pro fee over something as silly as avatars. Especially when you get enough space for a lot of shit. I personally think it is just a linking issue with some of them, that will be fixed momentarily.
You're right and wrong. Stupid to pay a fee, but is a bandwidth issue.
I payed the Pro fee so I don't have to worry about that. Plus it was only ten bucks, come on.
If you would like to pay so hundreds of ungrateful people you don't know can have a small image on a message board, you go right ahead. I will not.
