After replying to the "what match got you back into wrestling thread?" it made me think: What's the most underrated PPV? I can't say ever, because there are years of PPV's i've never seen, but i can say in the 8ish years i've been watching WWE/Wrestling in general that the 2nd best PPV ive ever seen ins Fully Loaded 2000.

The best is Wrestlemania X-7, but so many people agree how good that is, and it's often remembered, but Fully Loaded is a forgotten thing.

6PERSON TAG: The Hardy Boyz & Lita beat Test & Albert & Trish Stratus..

MATCH: Tazz beat Al Snow via submission..

EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH: Perry Saturn pinned Eddie Guerrero to win the title! This was a shock, after Saturn hit Guerrero with a diving elbow for the win

TAG TITLE MATCH: The Acolytes beat Edge & Christian (Champs) via DQ.. The only DQ finish unlike WWE now.

WWF I-C Champ Val Venis beat Rikishi (14:10) in a "steel cage" match.. The match which Rikishi tried to emulate Jimmy Snuka (never thought i'd say that) with a dive off the cage

MATCH: The Undertaker pinned Kurt Angle.. After he had chased him around the arena throughout the night

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH: Triple H beat Chris Jericho.. An amazing match which is the only one still possible in WWE today

FEDERATION TITLE MATCH: The Rock pinned Chris Benoit to retain. This had drama at the end as The Rock was told he would lose the title if he was DQ'd. The Rock was DQ'd wrongly by the ref, and as Benoit celebrated, Commisioner Foley came out and announced that there was no DQ apparent, so the match should continue.

All in all a truly great PPV in my opinion, and unfortunately one that i hardly remmber hearing about since. (although i did get it on vhs {old fashioned} for £1.97 last month so i can watch it again and again.

What's anybody else's view ont this or their most underrated PPV?

Fully Loaded 2000 is a great PPV. Probably the best PPV of 2000, imo. I don't think that it's underrated. I think most fans, who go back that far, consider it a great PPV.

The most underrated PPV imo is:

Armageddon '04. Maybe I'm biased b/c I was there live, but it was a good Smackdown-only PPV. The only two things bad about this PPV was the Tough Enough Boxing challenge and Kurt Angle making Santa tap out. Other than that the action was incredible.

Some cool stuff included seeing Big Show do the F5, John Cena in a street fight, and RVD/Mysterio vs. Kenzo Suzuki/Renee Dupree for the tag titles.

The main event featured WWE Champion JBL(who I cheered for through out the match) vs. The Undertaker vs. Eddie Guerrero(R.I.P.) vs. Booker T in a Fatal Four match for the title. One of the best Fatal Fourways you will ever see. This was match of the night. This was the match that proved JBL is a wrestling.....Gawd!

Imo, Vengeance 2003 is a forgotton classic(the other board, i used to post on always overlooked this ppv)

I mean this card is great, from opener to the main event.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit- This is my favourite match of theirs.

Worlds Greatest Tag Team vs. Rey and Kidman- One of the best tag team matches, i have ever seen and i see this match as a forgotten classic.

Undertaker vs. John Cena- Easily one of John Cenas best matches

Also not forgetting, The Triple Threat Title match and Zach Gowen vs. Vince McMahon.

I don't really know if this PPV is overlooked at all, but not many people seem to mention it as a good PPV... but the Royal Rumble 2000, with the Triple H vs Mick Foley street fight, which in my opinion was a great match, Tazz's debut, which was also great, I always enjoy the royal Rumble itself despite the poor outcome of this particular one. I just really enjoyed that PPV, and if not that 'The Rock Bottom' in your house was really good too.

The 2000 Rumble was excellent, it also had the Hardys v Dudleys table match where Jeff dived off the gangway bit (i don't know what they're called in America) which he repeated at Survivor Series a couple of years later.

Royal Rumble 1993.

So many great things about this event that got lost in the shuffle. First off, The Steiners defeated the Beverly Brothers in what amounted to a #1 contender's match and a solid tag-team event. What Scott Steiner WAS and what he IS now are two totally different people. And the Beverly Brothers were an under-rated tag-team.

Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jannetty. This was one of my all-time favorite matches. Jannetty had returned only months earlier and "accidentally" hit Sensational Sherri in the head with a mirror when Michaels pulled her in his way. The storyline was "who will she go with?" In the mix of a great story was the presence of one of the best IC Title matches ever, with the closest near-falls I have ever seen. THIS match did for Michaels what Hart vs Bulldog did for Bret.

Bret Hart vs Razor Ramon. This was "The Bad Guy's" first major title match, and the match itself was fantastic. Ramon sold his size, Irish Whipped Bret into a ringpost, and applied the most well executed Abdominal Stretch ever. Both men sold well, and Bret played underdog to Razor's size.

The Rumble itself. Every year, announcer call the larger men the "favorites" but this is the only year that larger man won (aside from Big John Studd) when Yokozuna dominated. It also featured the odd debut of "Giant Gonzales."

Royal Rumble 1994.

First off, the commentary combo of Vince McMahon and Ted DiBiase was legendary. No question.

This match featured the great Owen Hart heel turn, as after losing the tag team title match to The Quebecers, Owen kicked Bret's injured knee and set up the great brother vs brother feud.

Shawn Michaels came out and nearly helped IRS win the Intercontinental Title from Razor Ramon by hitting Razor with his "fake" IC Title belt. This was the precursor to the WrestleMania 10 Ladder Match.

The Yokozuna vs Undertaker Casket match was well told, and it took 12 guys to beat Taker. The cheesy "rebirth" scene afterwards was a little much, but it helped envigorate Taker while giving Yokozuna a hint of vulnerability.

The Bret Hart / Lex Luger "false finish." Classic. I remember staring at the TV, seeing all 12-someodd angles they shot the finish from, and being amazed how perfectly in sync the landings were. It actually WAS a tie! Unheard of! And these two guys pulling that off (something goes an inch wrong and it never happens) set up the innovative "coin flip" with Yokozuna having to defend his title at WM10 twice, and prepping us for Bret vs Owen or Luger vs Crush.

The 1992-1994 era saw the three best Royal Rumbles ever. And only 1992 gets the credit it deserves.

I don't know why, but I really enjoyed GAB 2006. Now, this Pay Per View didn't reaaly scream best of the year, but the majority of the matches were strong and more interesting than anything else they tried to pass off as great that year. Helms vs. Hardy, 'Taker vs. Show in Punjabi Prison, Booker vs. Rey for World Title, heck, the Tag Title Match was phenominal, showcasing four great wrestlers. And, a dream match of sorts, in Finlay and Willieam Regal for the US Title. Great european wrestling, that of course the crowd was dead to, but was great fun anyway.

I don't know why, but I really enjoyed GAB 2006.

You probably enjoyed it b/c guys like Khali and Mark Henry didn't compete as scheduled. Taker/Khali became Taker/Big Show and Batista/Henry became Batista/Mr. Kennedy. Thank God for that. Am I right?

I agree that the GAB '06 was definitely underated, much like No Mercy '06.

This is a really difficult one to do without going through each PPV which I am not going to do. I will say the one that comes to mind. Though I am not sure how underrated it is, I rarely have heard about it- and that's only going to get rarelier (not a word).

Bad Blood '04.
-One of the greatest feuds being settled in HIAC (and by settled I mean they're going to fight a bunch more times) in HHH and HBK.

-Benoit competing like the madman he would later literally become in two major title matches scoring victories in both.

-I always give a holler when Kane gets a world title shot and man I wish he'd win that thing again even if just for a month. Eh, well, maybe he'll score the ECW title and join the ranks of... John Morrison.

-Eugene and Coach... those two crack me up.

- Trish/Lita/Victoria/Kim- arguably, four of the most talented female wrestlers ever except for Gail Kim who's just one unbelieveably hot Asian chick.

-Orton v. Benjamin.- With an appearance by the Nature Boy! Excellent IC Title match showing why Orton is so fucking good to hate.

-Y2J v Tomko- What a depth of talent Tyson Tomko is, eh? I mean, did TNA think they snagged the deal of a lifetime with this guy or what? They probably did, cause he can't demand too much. Good thing he rolled with Captain Charisma cause that guy ain't got none of his own. But Jericho is Jericho and the match was decent because of it.

Evolution is in full swing, Benoit is getting his chance to shine, a damn near hour long HIAC, and the ladies even were fairly enjoyable to watch. I don't what it is rated, but if it's not highly rated, then it is underrated. And they brought back though briefly the "Bad Blood" title. Nice.

I'd have to say Summerslam 98.

D'Lo Brown vs. Val Venis - European Title
HOT OPENER! These guys really put on a hell of a match that set the tone for the show brilliantly. Really made you feel like you were right there live and made the European Title mean something, even if only for 20 minutes.

X-Pac vs. Jeff Jarrett - Hair vs. Hair
Surprisingly, this match impressed as well with Pac playing the perfect underdog, revisiting his 123 Kid days. The finish was classic, as we saw the headbangers come down and help Pac shave Double J's golden locks.

Kai En Tai vs. The Oddities
Great comedy match with ICP doing a live performance of the Oddities entrance. These two teams really had great chemistry.

Edge & Sable vs. Marc Mero & Jacqueline
Good stuff here, as well. Mixed tag action that didn't disappoint. Sable and Edge got the win here, with Sable even powerbombing Mero!

New Age Outlaws vs. Mankind - Tag Titles
Mankind is defending the belts solo as his partner, Kane, no-shows on him to further promote their feud against each other. Somehow, they manage to tell a great story with this match and Foley makes you believe he may just do the impossible up until Kane actually screws him over in the end of a solid No DQ match.

Triple H vs. The Rock - Intercontinental Title Ladder Match
ONE OF THE BEST LADDER MATCHES EVER! These two actually redefined the genre. Instead of using daring high spots to make this match amazing, they keep you on the edge of your seat with outstanding psychology and storytelling, even tossing in a few creative and brutal ways to use the ladder. Also, a rare chance to see a heel Rocky and a face Trips...

Steve Austin vs. Undertaker - WWF Title
These guys go all-out in the best match I have ever seen these two involved in with each other. The build was amazing, the hype leading up to the main event made you want to see this match so bad and it surpassed all expectations. Great, great main event to a solid and often overlooked PPV

Fully Loaded 2000 was a good ppv this is more of a forgotten ppvs thread, ones that people dont remember but were really good.

What a underrated PPV is is when it wasnt thought of as good at first.

I suppose Fully Loaded was more of a this is a forgotten good ppv.

Vengance 2001 was pretty decent dunno if anyone though it was lame or bad or forgotten for that matter.

No Mercy 1999 and I'll tell you why. I didn't see the ppv live, but the buzz that followed that night was amazing and this was the first and only time that I purchased a ppv after it already aired. Mainly because of one match:

-The original Tag Team Ladder match-
The Hardyz vs Edge and Christian

The match that jump started the careers of these four men. Over 8 years later, and see where they are at in thier careers..

Edge is a 4 time World Champion
Christian is a 2 time TNA World Champion
Jeff Hardy has finally achieved main event status as well as multiple singles championships
Matt Hardy was on the cusp of a singles championship before being injured.

And it all started with this match.

This funny..But I'm going to give a PPV that I've never seen, but I did watch it live on PPV via scrambled cable (listened to the whole show and had small glimps of the live action).

So that PPV would be WCW Halloween Havoc 1996, card was rock solid WCW was at a all time high with NWO being so fresh, and the whole Sting thing from the PPV b4 that at Fall Brawl.

CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Dean Malenko vs Rey Mysterio Jr. Could you possible make up a better match if you wanted to? These 2 were id say in there prime here putting up the best wrestling matches week in and week out.

Diamond Dallas Page vs Eddie Guerrero . Another classic match up, not sure if I remember it right but I think Eddie was still a face here, and DDP was close to the turn, none the less a must see match.

The Giant vs Jeff Jarrett. Not the greatest match up, but both could put on a good show. Plus Giant was apart of the NWO here, made it worth watching just for that.

Syxx vs Chris Jericho.. nothing more to say then this is another solid match up.

Lex Luger vs Arn Anderson
.. Not sure about this one, I think Anderson was still a little injured, but im not sure.

Steve McMichael & Chris Benoit vs Faces of Fear (Meng & Barbarian)
.. lol i could care less to se this match, both teams stunk. It's the only throw away match on this card.

TAG TITLE MATCH: The Outsiders (Nash/Hall) vs Harlem Heat
. Tag titles on the line, and what a rare thing, the top heels Outsiders vs the top heels? Very rare type of match up, and you got 2 of the very best teams in WCWs history, and it also starts the Outsiders run with the gold.

WORLD TITLE MATCH: "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan vs Randy "Macho Man" Savage
lol I remember Hogan started the match with some hair ah w/e. But Hogan vs Macho always a must see match, and its the last match b4 Savage went wacko in throwing away everything and joining the NWO to play 2nd fiddle to Hogan.

Well I really think this is one of the few PPVs of the 80s/90s era where you got just about every match on the card as a must see, back then it was like you got a main event, a co-main event then your really lucky to have a 3rd match thats any good. This PPV had 6 or 7 of 8 matches being must see worthy.

in your house mindgames 1996
HBK v.s. mankind was off the charts
this ppv was held in philly and in the opening match between bradshaw and savio vega the sandman tommy dreamer and paul heyman were sitting ringside and sandman spit beer at vega and bradshaw. it was the start of the ecw /wwf relationship

I say the 1994 WWF Royal Rumble. You had The Undertaking cutting the infamous promo before being lifted out of the Providence Civic Center, Kevin Nash as Diesel tossing seven people out of the Rumble and actually waiting on opponents at one point, and of course Owen Hart turning on Bret, turning him into one of the biggest heels of 1994 and early 1995.

All really good and all i got 2 say is.....no mercy 01 holy shit what a card and matches 2 back it up......tag team title match was great with an awesome finish after a bunch of spots within 15 seconds.....edge.....christian.....ladder......nuff said wit a great story told.. ....test vs kane was great with 2 of the most athletic big men in wwe and a lot of false finishes recieved by main event crowd reaction 2 a mid card match.....taker/booker 2 seasoned and still talented performer put on a well timed technical match lots of holds and ring psychology.........jericho finally winnin the *big one* defeatin the rock in an easy moty candidate and a great triple threat main event title match with austin/angle/rvd even tho rvd took that stunner in the wierdest way possible
