What's so good about Whitecastle/Krystals

K, I'm Canadian, we don't have any Whitecastle and Krystals around and I've never been to one. So I'm curious as to if their burgers are great. They look like the smallest burger pattie in the world, the bun is like over 90% of the actual burger. I can't see them being very good, but I've never had one before. So why are they such a big deal in the states? or did the Harold and Kumar movie overemphasize their goodness?

Because they are slow broiled under a bed of sweet onions to produce a taste that only White Castle has. And Harold and Kumar kicks ass

Actually, they are kind of shitty. Those flavor crystals exploding in your mouth make me sick. Plus they are called Sliders because there is soo much grease in them that you will be shitting your pants for a week.

Actually, I think that was the v.o. from the White Castle commercial from the first Harold and Kumar.

God, that movie's great.

It's cause White Castle is a nectar of the gods. Quite literally. It might as well be a liquid. It melts in your mouth, and exits basically the same way it went in. However the taste and joy of eating them by far surpass any downside to them. Two friends and I downed a crave crate (100 burgers) The box was literally in the shape of a house. It was the best meal ever.

but there's like hardly any meat with them, but i guess that's why they're so cheap, wat are they like 50cent burgers. Ahhh reminds me of the good old days when 50 cents would get u a meal, a paper, and a bus ticket, with enough change left over to flick at some prostitutes. LOL
