A REAL American
The WWE is now into the whole gimmick pay per-view thing in this wrestling era. And now the yearly WWE PPV schedule looks like this for 12 months...

Jan. Royal Rumble
Feb. Elimination Chamber
Mar. WRESTLEMANIA
Apr. Extreme Rules
May. Over the Limit
Jun. No Way Out
Jul. Money in the Bank
Aug. SUMMERSLAM
Sept. Night of Champions
Oct. Hell in a Cell
Nov. Survivor Series
Dec. TLC

The WWE PPV list & themes have been changed & altered various times.

But doesn't anybody remember the old WWF PPV's from back in the heyday even before the attitude era? Such as...

-Unforgiven
-Judgement Day
-Backlash
-Over the Edge
-King of the Ring
-Fully Loaded
-Bad Blood
-In Your House
-Vengence
-Final/Fatal Four
-No Mercy

The Great American Bash was more of a WCW PPV. But isn't Extreme Rules a spin-off from ECW?

But in a nutshell. What WWF/E PPV would like to see return?

those were still Attitude era PPV's they were just In Your House PPV's during the end of the New Generation era and during the atittude era they dropped the IYH gimmick.

This is my list Of PPV names iv liked and when i would like to see them iv cut it down to 10 as i think 12 is way to much . Id love KoR back and have the winner get the first Title shot of the next year

Jan - Royal Rumble
Feb - Fully Loaded
Mar/April- Wrestlemania
May - BackLash
July - The Great American Bash
August - Summerslam
Sep - Over The Limit
Oct - Rebellion
Nov Survivor Series
Dec - King Of The Ring

Deffinatly King Of The Ring but not like the later years I would want it like at the begining where they would have the whole tournament in one night not like they did at the end with just semi finals and finals.

I'm another one for King of the Ring. A lot of guys can point back to KOTR as being a major point in their career, a certain Stone Cold being the obvious one and it's always exciting! It's a way to give someone a push when they possibly aren't ready to get the title for whatever reason. Within the current roster I can point out quite a few who would benefit from it. The likes of Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler and even a wildcard like Miz or Swagger to get their careers back on track.

I would like to see The Great American Bash come back. They could have it in July and move Money In the Bank to June. This replaces No Way Out (which will probably suck) and it could have replaced Capitol Punishment last year, which I could have done without. The novelty of having an American themed PPV around the 4th of July would help get some PPV buys. It would certainly do better than No Way Out will end up doing. They could even use Red, White, and Blue ropes; perhaps have people use red or blue ring attire. It is a show that I really miss. I enjoyed every edition of it up until they took out the American aspect and ruined it by making it "The Bash", just another generic show no one cares about.

I also would like to see Bragging Rights return. They would have to work harder to regain the brand tension, but I would prefer it over Extreme Rules. The World Champion could face the WWE Champion, the US Champion could face the Interconinental Champion, the Tag Team Champions could face a team from the other brand, the Divas Champion could face a diva from the other brand, maybe have GM representative wrestlers face each other (Otunga for Johnny or Ryder/Santino for Teddy etc), a random filler match, and of course the elimination Bragging Rights match. As long as the "bragging rights" led to something more than a trophy that no one cares about a week later. It could work with enough effort put into it.

It's not a WWE PPV but since they own the rights the 1 PPV that I would love to see return would hands down be Fall Brawl, mostly because I always loved Wargames. The double rings always made for some good spots even if the cage wasn't involved. It was probably one of my fondest memories of WCW by far.

If we are considering WWE PPV's only I would like to see King of The Ring come back. I think I saw every one on PPV and I always enjoyed watching the KOTR tournament. More often than not the winner would move onto bigger and better things and you were always guaranteed some good matches. Also I have a special spot in my heart for Shane O' Mac vs. Angle and Taker vs. Mankind.

Pretty spot on. I like the 10 ppv's as apposed to what we have today. I would make some subtle changes.

1) I would move KOTR to the May slot as it keeps it closer to its original location. Also I would bring back the concept of the winner getting a title shot at SummerSlam.

2) I would bring back Halloween Havoc for the October PPV. That was always my favorite WCW PPV.

I would like if they stayed with the orginal 4 ppvs: Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series. Make the ppvs feel special.

I do like the King of the Ring and MITB concepts and think they should have them on supershows (Saturday Night Main Event or Clash of the Champions). Maybe even them in place of a RAW once in awhile like they did with KOTR.
