I'm Literally Just Here for WZCW
After hearing about the various WWE releases, watching the new superstars from ECW & the signing of Bryan Danielson... I am stunned at the amount of diverse talent. However, I was studying the actual roster with the potentials/released & came to ask myself the question. What does WWE need more of in terms of wrestling styles & specialists? By this I mean, does the WWE need more amateur cross-overs, luchadors, submission wrestlers, hardcore/backyard, charismatic, big men.... you get the picture.
Basically, which style of wrestling do you think the WWE need more of in the company?
My answer would be to learn towards the charismatic wrestlers. Simply because the WWE is in the crisis mode. They are in dire need of building up the superstars of tomorrow to carry over the company in the next few years as superstars like Batista, HBK & possibly Taker will be retiring & the current 99% confirmed loss of Jeff Hardy will impact greatly on the Main Event scene in the negative. Despite they are doing their absolute best in promoting the future, like the entire SummerSlam card where it was basically the veterans against the new blood, they need guys who are able to over with the crowd. They will need wrestlers to fill the void in the midcard division for the midcarders going to the Main Event spot. Charisma is a vital key in establishing yourself with the crowd & translating that into an in-ring persona. The Miz is an example of one with Charisma. He may not have the best moveset in the world, but once he gets on the stick... the crowd eats it up for the most part. The way he performs in the ring makes his performance & moveset look more devastating than it already is. Don't believe me, watch the clothesline he does whilst the opponent is in the corner.
Any thoughts?
