What The WWE Divas Championship Should Look Like

I happened to run across this image earlier today of the current design being used for the NWA World Women's Championship. It's a relatively simple design but I think it looks fantastic. http://www.jpbelts.com/#!nwawomens/c1d97 The only thing I MIGHT change is add some color, possibly red, to highlight the writing and NWA logo

The color of the plates, the lack of symmetry of the plates just makes the title look really tacky to me. It looks like part of a costume of a Vegas showgirl. I know that there are more than a few threads going on about dislikes of the titles, but I'd really just sort of forgotten how much I generally dislike the look of the Divas title.

I never had a problem with the Diva's title, and quite frankly it looks better than the title suggested. The Diva's title pops, and it's lively... much like the women who compete for it. And to be completely honest, I've not been disappointed by the women who've held the championship thus far. Guess that's just me but whatever.

Also, I'd like to say that the Diva's title is the second best looking title right now IMO behind the United States Title. I've always loved the US Title, and it just gets better every time I see it.

The NWA women's title is a pretty crappy looking belt. To be honest, I don't see a problem with the WWE Diva's title. It's distinct, obviously feminine. I don't see the problem with the women having a girly looking belt. The one suggested in the photo would be a huge step back.

The Divas Championship may be cheesy compared to some of the other titles WWE has, but it doesn't deserve half of the hate that it gets. I rarely ever do so, but I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one, Jack-Hammer. I'm not a fan of the design of the belt in the link in your post, that design just looks generic and boring to me. If we are discussing how the Divas Championship should look, I would have kept the classic design of the WWE Womens Championship but perhaps adding a pink or red strap to it. I'm fine with the current Divas Championship design though. It's not like it's as bad as Jeff Hardy's Immortal TNA Championship. That thing was hideous.

I hated it when it first came out. The womens title just looked more pro than the big butterfly. Now that it's just the divas title, I don't notice it as much. I think what it should look like is the same as it is now, without the big butterfly. I think that center plate should be turned into a legit prestigious looking plate.

They shouldn't be fighting over a butterfly in my opinion. I remember not wanting a wrestler like Beth Phoenix to win it (when there were two titles) because I felt like she deserved to be fighting for a belt that a real athlete would fight for. It was designed (I believe) by Torrie Wilson, and I think that's the type of diva who should be fighting for it. If it's the top tier prize, with holders like AJ Lee, Mickie James, Paige and Beth Phoenix, then it should look the part.


Same platinum looking plates, same pink lettering to stand out, new center plate.

I would have preferred they kept the Women's title that they got rid of in favor of the Divas title but I also get that they're trying to evolve.

The current Diva's title is pretty lame but I'm used to it now.
It's better than that old WWECW "world" title they had and it's better than the pennies.

I don't really care for the title in the OP. It looks old and doesn't seem like it would fit in this era.

Sorry sir, I'll have to agree with The S#cial Sector here the Divas Championship looks better to me than the NWA Women's Championship. The latter is more of a traditional wrestling belt, while the former creates an image of more glamour, showbiz, bling etc.- things that you could identify with the Divas division today. The colour is unique, the design is innovative, and it looks good on the Divas.

I have to go with the majority of people here Jack-Hammer. I am not very fond of that title you posted. The Diva's championship doesn't bother me, mainly because I really don't care what they are doing in that division at all. If i had to give my take on it I would say that it serves it's purpose. It screams "hey this is a women's title!" and that's all it needs to do. The butterfly sparkly thing may not appeal to a lot of people but it definitely looks like it had more thought put into it then the current WWE World title. Let's just slap a big W on it and take supposedly 2 years and 50 something thousand dollars to do! that'll do the trick!
