What should I watch?

INDYjon22

Nome is where your heart is
I am quiet bored and open to suggestions. TV shows, film, wrestling, porn are all acceptable and will likely be rewarded with rep.

Beach Blast 1992. Very forgotten yet awesome show. I would however recommend watching it out of order. Swap Sting vs. Cactus Jack and the tag team main event.

I just threw on disc one of the 100 greatest fights in UFC history. I'm sure you have your fair share of MMA dvd's, that's what I watch when i'm bored. In wrestling terms, I don't know about you but if I had to pick from my collection, i'd watch something from my Royal Rumble set most likely 2000's Rumble.

I do love my RR set. I love having the individual dvd's instead of the box sets. I just watched 2001 the other night but 2000 would be a very worth while watch. I was thinking about watching UFC 59 a couple days ago so possibly.

I actually just watched Black Dynamite the other night Doc. Always a good pick.

Even though i'm not a big wrestling fan anymore, I cherish my Rumble set. My absolute favorite PPV of the year. The 2000 PPV in particular was awesome and is home to one of my favorite moments in wrestling history. Nothing will beat the camera zooming around the fans when Rock's music hits and everybody jumps up at the same time.

I feel UFC 59 is worth watching just to see Tito come out. That reaction was awesome. Nothing beats UFC 68 for me at least.

Which one was 68? I have 66 but I don't remember 68 at all. I love the 2000 rumble just for Bob Backlund running around in the crowd after he got eliminated.

Gotta love good old Bob Backlund. Triple H vs Cactus Jackwas a pretty awesome match as well.

68 featured my favorite fight of all time between Randy Couture and Tim Sylvia. The atmosphere was insane that night. Pretty much all the fights were very good.

Oh right, now I remember 68. That was actually the first PPV and fight I ever saw. Watched the Couture/Sylvia fight on the bus with my wrestling coach on the way back from one of our meets. Though the promotional stuff for AA vs. Sylvia 2 was what first made me notice MMA.

I'd remember AA vs Sylvia much more fondly if their third fight didn't suck as much as it did...

I like the third fight, but it was a huge let down. Very unfortunate that it ended up being a wrestlefuck when both guys knew they could knock the other out.

Their second fight I believe was awesome. Where Sylvia got knocked down only to come back and KO AA. I hate Sylvia, but that comeback was awesome.

He turned into somewhat of a disgrace. Always disliked him but now more so considering the shape he is currently in and how far he has fallen. Sucks because he was a somewhat successful champion turned into an absolute joke.

He is disrespectful to the sport. He hardly trains and is a slob. Thus the reason he is only fighting other Super Heavyweights and guys who are trying to make names for themselves by taking fights with larger opponents. He was decent once upon a time, but now a days he is everything a potential fighter should avoid being. Plus his whole wearing the belt at all times thing rubbed me the wrong way back when he was champion.

He is a dark spot on the sport. His fight vs Pudz was a fucking disgrace. You're right when you said every single fighter should look at him and get the incentive to retire early and keep in shape. Reminds me of Morecraft considering they're both hideous looking. As much as I have hated Strikeforce, i'm ecstatic they didn't pick him up. I doubt he could make 265 nowadays.

In case you need a film to watch another time, there's a German film called North Face which is certainly worth a shot sometime. Shot so beautifully and I'm not sure how much was bluescreen/set design/location as it all blends together really well. The contrast between the peasantish climbers and the rich viewers is a nice touch too. Highly recommended!

I don't know if you like magic but everyone needs to see Dynamo Magic Impossible. This guy is a freaking genius, better than Blaine, Cris Angel, Houdini, whoever. If you cannot find his show just use Youtube and do some searches.

Never can get a youtube vid to embed so here is one link

Watch FlashForward. An awesome TV show that really hooks you from early on. I just finished watching the first series for the third time in 2 days.

If you're feeling a movie, I'd recommend State of Grace with Sean Penn and Gary Oldman. Absolutely brilliant, forgotten film. Some of Oldman's best work.

If you're feeling wrestling...hmmm...I don't know, throw in an old Summerslam. It is summer afterall.

If you're looking for a good TV show to watch, Breaking Bad is on tonight, as it Entourage.

I'm sure you'll find something to watch among all these suggestions.

Raging Bull. My favorite movie ever and has what I feel is the best performance ever with De Niro as LaMotta. Definitely worth the 2 hours.

TV Show Sons Of Anarchy is my current favorite show, and South Park is always a good choice.

Film Orphan, I'm not sure if you like horror but watched it the other day and was very pleasantly surprised. Frickin awesome movie, definitely check it out.

Wrestling I would say Vengeance 2001, great matches top to bottom not to mention Jericho beating Rock and Austin in the same night to win the Undisputed title.

MMA I had to throw this in for ya INDY ;) You should watch UFC 36 Couture vs Barnett. Great card, only one fight goes the distance and it's a beat down Sean Sherk style. Features greats like Hughes,Mir,Tanner,Rizzo,Arlovski,Sakurai and more.

Porn You did say porn too  Witches of Breastwick 2. Yep.

Whatever you choose, enjoy INDY :)
