This wasn't on tv but it's awesome. This was after RAW and it's on the Y2J dvd.

Can't belive no one has said this (Except someone did say Austin/Rock II build up)

"Rock i have to beat you"

And while we are at it the whole WM17 show if you have not watched it yet you are missing out on the best show ever.

I don't recognize the legitimacy of the suggestion that anything pertaining to professional wrestling should be "required viewing."

Austin vs. The Rock - WrestleMania 17.
Joe vs. Kobashi.
Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon - WrestleMania X.
Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho - WrestleMania 19.

Just rifling through wikipedia and wondering why nobody ever mentions this, HBK vs Bret at the first ladder match in 1992?

Because it wasn't that great.

Xfear to kiss your posterior in 5...4...3......

Why would I kiss his posterior for the Joe-Kobashi match? Kobashi was well past his prime by the time that match took place. That wasn't even the best match Kobashi had that year.

I'd say Misawa vs. Kawada's Triple Crown match from 6/3/94 is required viewing. Generally considered one of if not the greatest wrestling match to ever take place. Here's a nice in-depth look at all the reasons why: http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/video_reviews/33064/Misawa-Vs-Kawada-(06-03-1994).htm

Joe-Punk I and II are the cure to insomnia.

If you have the attention span of a gnat, sure.

I've seen the first two Punk/Joe matches and enjoyed them moderately. If the Coco-provided hype surrounding the third is anything to go by, I may enjoy the third one considerably. There was a third one, right? It seems implied.

He's a douche, but this was F***KING HIGH-LARIOUS

Because it wasn't that great.

Aye that as may be but it's a first. People remember the first HIAC, Elimination chamber etc.. You would think for that, and for the two competitors involved people would mention it more.

Anyway. It seems what people list as essential viewing is highly variable. What doesn't seem to be is that by anyone's list it is a FUCKLOAD.

Eddie winning the title.
Benoit and Eddie moment after WM XX
Edge cashing in the first money in the bank
The first Elimination Chamber
Lesnar/Taker Hell in a Cell
Triple H betrays Shawn Michaels

Not trying to list all the "classics", but rather thinking "outside the box"

Why would I kiss his posterior for the Joe-Kobashi match? Kobashi was well past his prime by the time that match took place. That wasn't even the best match Kobashi had that year.

Because he said the name "Kobashi".

It was a joke, dill-weed.
