Before i start ranting about this, i just want to say that i writing this after reading all the spoilers for the next month of shows but won'T write about any of it because i can'T until the shows played on pop tv.

So my focus will be based solely on last tuesday'S episode of IMPACT.

So last tuesday, TNA had yet another relaunch on Pop TV. Their was some buzz about this show, peoples where really curious about what would TNA do to try and get new viewers. And then the show started and the first problem of the night happenned, Dixie CArter is in the ring with the TNA belt. She cut a long boring promo until EC3 comes out to pretty much get put back in his place by aunty Dixie. So before i continue what was bad about this segment because it got worst, let me just say that they did a great job in making their no.1 heel in the promotion look like a complete moron. Having said that that'S not even the worst part of the segment. Matt comes in a cut a promo then get attack by eric young and EC3 only to get save by lashley. That's o.k a big brawl going to commercial make sense but they come back from commercial saying that Young try to piledrive Hardy through the table, so logic dictacts that they go to the young/hardy match after this but no...., instead we get the other match between lashley on EC3. So again Why?. If your going to shot an angle like that one why would you not book the hardy vs young match right after.

I'm not going to do a whole recap of the show because it's makes no sense but let just say that a lot more stuff did frustrate me during the broadcast but the 2 biggest thing that made me shake my head not getting the reason behind was the kong joining the dollhouse house segment and the way they book the whole tournament especially if you're like me and read the spoilers.

First of all Why in the blue hell is Awesome kong with the dollhouse all of a sudden. Wasn't it the same dollhouse that use to make fun of her and actually took her out last her. This makes no sense and i don'T get why this segment was book period. You want to make a good first impression and that's what you give peoples. No wonder the ratings are not that great.

As far as the tournament itself goes, it made me feel like i wasted a whole three month of watch TNA only to get that result. Nothing against EC3 and Hardy but it would have been a lot better if they would have done something better or at best something shocking but we got the same old stuff and it made the whole world title series look like a complete joke that meant nothing.

In the end, i still want TNA to succeed because of some of the talent they still have on their roster but something backstage has to change. They need to fired everybody that is responsible for the creative direction of that the company is going. John gubrick should be release also just based on how much he really doesn'T know how to do his job and Finally dixie need to go back to nashville and do what she does best and that's running the marketing department of tna. They need new blood on the creative staff, peoples that knows what the fans wants right now instead of the crap and the hotshotting they are doing right now because if you though that vince russo was bad when he was working in TNA, this team makes him look like a genius.

MODERATOR NOTE:
REMEMBER, NO SPOILERS ALLOWED.

IMO they should have Mike Bennett start as face but injure ECIII to capture title & after the match continue to hurt ECIII. Then within 2 months Bennett turns heel to set-up BFG ECIII (F) vs Bennett (H & C)

It seems that TNA is taking a page out of wwe's book and doing surprises just to have surprises even if they make no sense. Read some of the taping spoilers and you will see more happening that don't seem to make sense. Things like Kong joining hte Dollhouse make no sense as presented. Had Terrell still been there and they turned on her to join Kong, okay it is silly but it make sense but they way they did it makes no sense. You are suddenly just going to join someone who has been a pain in your ass for the last 6 months? To me, it looks like they wanted a surprise so they did it and will figure out a reason later. Wrestling needs to understand that the rules for writing in Hollywood don't work the same in wrestling so quit trying to copy them.

BTW, the new theme song sucks. Seriously, i could have written that.

Watching the first show, it really had a deflating effect to me. I was pumped by the new beginning but it was same old same old. And the surprises of Storm and Bennett were so damn boring. No thought put into, no creativity.

And Matt Hardy is so damn terrible.

Young actually hit Matt with a chair and tried to piledrive him on it but was stopped by the refs. They wanted to sell Matt's injury and give Matt an underdog build so it only made since that they would have Lashley vs EC3 first.

With that said, that was one of the worst TNA shows i've watched since they were on Spike(stop watching them on D.A in August). Who ever thought it was a good idea making their debut show on a new network revolve around Matt Hardy and Eric Young(for the most part) should lose a lot of their creative control.
There were so many things wrong with that show:
1. WAY TOO MUCH TALKING!!!! If they know they were going to have so many promos why not improve their mics before the show??????
2. Kong and Gail shouldn't have been anywhere near The Beautiful people and the Dollhouse. If they wanted a surprise, they should've had the Beautiful people bring someone in as Love's replacement(Lacie Von Eric?) and had them turn on the Beautiful people during the match.
3.Some one accidentally played BeerMoney's theme when Roode won(I found out later that the show wasn't actually live and some how that miscue still made it on t.v)
4. NO X-DIVISION(or x-division champ) NOR TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!? The neglecting of the x-division is my main frustration.
It seems like they the entire show was just made to build up their throwed together one night ppv.

I understand your frustration because like you i've seen the spoilers, and what they did in the main event scene should've been done on the debut show. I personally like the direction they seem to have went with but it should've been done Tuesday.

Good Grief Dixie was out there what maybe three minutes? Boy people can over exaggerate things when it comes to Dixie Carter.Awesome Kong joining the Dollhouse was random but I'll give them a pass on that one. Because Taryn Terrell leaving and so they wanted to give the group some star power.

The world Title Series was obviously all about Matt and EC3. The story they were telling and will continue to tell. This wasn't a waste it was storyline progression. Was it entertaining no but it was what it was. That part of the story is over so now we move on.

I give TNA creative a little more credit, I think they have invested heavily in a story line between EC3 and Matt Hardy and are seeing it through. Personally I would prefer Lashley to be champ but EC3 and Hardy are carrying the story fairly well at the moment and I think there feud is just beginning. They have also added the Miracle Mike Bennett to their Heavyweight division which is a very good signing, Beer Money is back which is HUGE, they have new X division talents on the scene in Trevor Lee, Andrew Everett and Pepper Parks which are all exciting and talented and they have a few new Knockouts in Donna, Maria and the very impressive (and hot) Chelsea. All in all whilst the promotion is not perfect they are set for a big year and are doing pretty well.

TNA creative team has always been on the downside. They make bizzare decisions and face and heel turns for both their Wrestlers and knock outs much often than the Big Show turn. Just tell me how many times we had seen Eric Young switching between face and heel roles in the past few months? They lack storytelling and it's obvious. I never do complain their matches. Its always better albeit not competitively. They really should need some fresh minds who really knows wrestling to write their shows.

On the other hand, I also reckon being the matches not being televised live or in the periodic way makes it look more unclingy. That might can bore anyone, wouldn't it?

I haven't read all of the spoilers, but I did read some, and I'm HOPING that TNA finally has some kind of payoff to storylines. As bad as Aces & 8's could be (there were some parts I enjoyed), at least they gave that a proper ending.

I would love to be a writer for TNA for a year, and my goal would be to go back through all of their aborted storylines of the past 5-8 years, and somehow tie them all together. I know it would seem impossible with the roster moves that have been made, but where there is a will, there is a way. haha

now that all the events that made me hot a couple of weeks ago have happens, i can finally talk about it especially the world title match which i think didn't help anybody. Did hotshotting the title change help either EC3 or matt hardy?

Did doing the double turn 2 weeks after the end of the tournament help either EC3 or MAtt Hardy

The answer to both questions is Hell no. If you wanted to do a double turn and put the title on matt hardy in the process then why not do it on the premier episode on pop tv? it would have made a bigger impact and draw new viewers with a captivating storyline, instead they give the belt back to EC3 and did a 2 weeks build to the title change. This could have been a great program for the next couple of months that if done right would have captivate the audience for the duration of the feud. Instead the hotshotted yet another story and made the tournament mean nothing and made the last 2 weeks of programming mean even less and that's booking like that that put TNA in the position they are in right now.
