What if the Hogans never divorced?

Da Big Champ

Pre-Show Stalwart
I'm sure you must be wondering what this is about and why I put it in the TNA section so I'm gonna explain.
In 2007 Linda decided to divorce Hulk and as I'm sure you remember it was a long battle that cost a lot of money for both Hulk and Linda. You may also remember the episode of 'Hogan Knows Best' when Hogan said he wasn't making any money. With Hulk not making much money and then the expensive divorce it seemed like Hulk had nowhere else to go but back the the wrestling world which is where he started CCW however that only had one season. Hulk also done some work hosting American Gladiator but again he was only there for 2008. In 2009 Hulk set up the Hulkamania Tour and before it started Hulk signed for TNA. Hulk has a lot of back problems which cost money because he needs surgery. All of this cost Hulk money that he didn't seem to have which makes me wonder 'what if the Hogans never divorced? Hulk needed the money and WWE wouldn't bring him back with all the injurys he had unless he was gonna wrestle which he wouldn't be aboe to do.
Would Hulk Hogan have joined TNA if he didn't get divorced? and would TNA have moved forward in such a huge way? would we have seen the monday night war? Would any of this have happened if the Hogans didn't get divorced? and was the divorce a good thing for TNA or would Hulk have went to TNA in the future?

*Note this is TNA was effected by Hogan joining because of the money he would have needed from the divorce.

Basically this, Hogan needs the money, that's the only reason he currently works for TNA. If they hadn't got divorced then Hogan wouldn't be with the company, it's that simple.

What's amazing is that most people are aware that Hogan needed the money, yet he still went to TNA and told then what he wanted and received what he asked for. Surely somebody in TNA must've had the brainwave to think ''Hey, he needs us more than we need him. Let's pay him a fair amount/not hire his friends'' etc.

If Hulk Hogan never got divorced from Linda she would still be getting the Hulk for all his money lol! But if Hulk & Linda never got divorced then of course Hogan would not be wrestling that's for sure.

And we would have been seen the second and third season's of Hogan's CCW on the CMT network with Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey (from the "Wonder Years") behind it. And if Hulk Hogan didn't get divorced from Linda, we would have been commited suicide married to a gold digger like that.

i think the same thing would have happened whether linda was still around or not. she didn't work. didn't make money, but loved to spend his.

i think this is a big reason hogan tried to push brooke into music was so he could have another source of income when/if she became famous, which failed miserably. and his son is such a screw up who doesn't even want to work, hulk had to take it upon himself to try to get money again.

in the end, it won't matter how much hulk gets from tna. linda has her claws sunk so deep into his pocket, she'll end up with most of it in the end anyways.

she's the poster child of a gold digger

Hogan would be in Tna with or with out got divorced from Linda, He has little of his money left Linda spend it all or close to it. Linda will alway be a Gold Digger. Sad thing is Hogan does not want to be in Tna he just got to pay his bills. Also food for thought why do u think Ric Flair is in Tna because of the same thing or close to it. Beside Flair and Hogan will be in Tna for a long time.

hmmm... my honest guess is if they weren't divorced, that probably means they would still be married. But hey, I'm not a rocket scientist here!

I more or less feel that it was just for the money, to keep himself somewhat relevant in the public eye. Hogan is a fuckin whackjob, that's for sure.

Hogan would still be in TNA with or with out his divorce. His ego is to big. He loves to be in the spotlight.
He also had to support his life style. Every seen hogan knows best. Huge house, dozens of cars. He was probably broke. Typical. Just like athlethes, rappers, and other people who spend way to much then can't keep up with it when the money quits rolling in.

I think flair might be the same about it too. He may be broke, but i think he just can't let go. He does need to quit in the ring. No intrest in seeing a 60 plus year old man wrestle. It is hard to think a guy in that bad of shape could beat anyone. Really don't wanna see his man boobs also.

I agree with you Y2 Jake! This is where the "dumbness" of Dumb Dixie shines! She is SO enamored with stars of the past (Hogan, Bischoff, Nash, Sting, Flair etc), that she loses sight of their lesssening value as they grow over the age of 40. She has little to no intelligence with the wrestling business and don't even get me started with the Heyman mess and her supposed "surprises"!

Had Hogans not been divorced, he would have STILL gone to TNA had the $$$$ been right and who could blame him.

If hogan's wasn't divorce, he wouldn't be in TNA. Like it or not, Hogan made a lot of money with all the outside stuff he did since leaving WWE and probably would have stuck with those outside project. Plus don'T forget that he still had his daughter'S Brooke Career to take care of which would have taken a lot of is time.

The reason behind Hogan's being involve with TNA is that he needs the money because from what i read, it did cost him a small fortune, so he working for TNA because of that. As soon as Hogan got enough money saved up from this venture, he will quit TNA.

I don't think Hogan would have been in TNA either. Neither would Bischoff. These are the guys that mocked and laughed about TNA in the past. Hogan and Bischoff would probably be somewhere promoting some horrible reality show mixed with has been celebrities, wrestling, and midgets. Hogan would probably still be miserable in his relationship with Linda, but he probably would keep it a secret so he could make more Hogan knows best shows. The main thing is Hogan wouldn't even touch TNA and I don't think Flair would be TNA either if it weren't for his marriage troubles.
