What if Owen Hart wouldnt of died that faithful night in 1999 what do you think would of happened to him career wise?

What if Bret Hart wouldnt of got that career ending injury thanks to Goldberg do you think he would of Returned and done the occasional Wrestlemania match with such icons like The Rock, Kurt Angle, a fianl feud with Shawn Michaels?

for me i think with no disrepect to the legacy of Owen Hart i dont really see him ever getting a WWE title run, the WWE really didnt know how to book Owen after Bret left so i think he would of had a few more Tag and IC title runs and properly would of left on his own wishes...............RIP Owen 'The Rocket' hart

I think bret would of returned alot sooner and we would of had Bret v s Vince alot sooner and it would of properly would of been alot more hardcore then what we had at WM26, I also think we would of had Bret vs Angle on of the biggest dream matches and Bret vs Jericho Canada's Dream Match and most importantly i think the Bret and HBK feud would of happened one last time most likly ending in a hell in the cell.

What do you think?

Let's just say Owen did not die, and Bret did not suffer the injury by Goldberg or suffer his stroke.

I believe Owen would have left the WWE once his contract was up and maybe retired from wrestling.

Bret would have been with WCW until it shutdown and because of his hatred for Mcmahon regarding the screw job, he probably would have joined TNA in it's inception, and if he stuck around TNA he may never have came back to the WWE

I partially agree with this. I think Bret would have stayed in WCW until it died and continue to tarnish his legacy. I believe that he would have never had his stroke because I honestly believe that kick to the head is what helped along and may have directly or indirectly caused that stroke. Would he ever go back to the E? Probably not. Would he have gone to TNA? I honestly doubt it.

As for Owen. I kind of agree that he wouldn't have ended up in the world title scene. I think would have hung around the E for a while and when his on air contract ended, I wouldn't have been surprised to see him run some sort of training facility either directly for the E or for himself. I don't think Bret would have ever step foot in the E again and perhaps never been a Hall of Famer.

He would be retired from wrestling along with his brother, making sporadic appearances in the WWE with the rest of his family. We'd probably see a bigger emphasis on the Hart family, namely a bigger push for the Hart foundation, as well as second, third, and fourth generation superstars on a whole.

Other than that, I don't think too much would be changed.

Ive been a WWF/E fan for my whole life but, the year that Owen unfortunately died(RIP)...he was retiring and the end of that year...dont know how many people knew that...he was retiring to spend time with his wife and kids.

As far as Bret goes....i think he would have been with WCW to the end, but, I think he would have retired before coming to WWE. I think he would have made a Hall of Fame appearance and that would be it, but, you never know how it would have played out

I think Owen wasn't going anywhere career wise in WWE. He was being a goof ball behind the Blue Blazer character. I think he was best used in WWE in 1994 when he turned heel and turned his back on his brother Bret. I enjoyed him in the Tag Division with Jeff Jarrett as well but as it turns out Jeff went back to WCW and became "The Choosen One" for Vince Russo, among other roles (nWo 2000)... Owen I think would have let his contract run out and also jumped to WCW, I think he would have been used in a better way then Blue Blazer.. but then again who knows with the crazy WCW booking idea's at the end.

Bret would have continued in WCW because of his ill feelings towards Vince. Plus at the end of his WCW he was actually being booked pretty decent. A feud with Goldberg isn't really a negative for his resume. I am a wrestling fan first so I watch all brands/companies, etc. but I was actually enjoying Goldberg and Bret's feud I would have liked to see it play out further.

Everythings just speculation though the facts are the facts how life played out for the Hart Family.. Even if Owen did retire as some people say he wanted to do, who knows if he wouldn't have just ultimately taken a year or two (if that) off and came back into wrestling.. All just fantasy "What if's"

I must say however, look how long edge stuck around until he finally became world champion. If Owen stuck around long enough I believe he would have eventually along with Benoit Jericho and Edge and the likes have gotten his world title chance. (No coincidence theyre all canadain :D)

The only other cool thing I could have seen was Bret leading the charge of the InVasion of WCW'ers into the WWF and maybe that angle could have turned out a lot better.

But overall I think both Bret and Owen would have joined TNA at the beginning, especially Owen (if he doesn't retire) because him and Jarett were good friends
