what happened to low blows in WWE

Odisho

PISTOL PETE
I have just started noticing, i havn't seen a low blow in years(not including TNA). the low blow was a move masterminded by the best minds of pro wrestling like Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, and Eddie Guerrero.

this thread is short and simple wHAT HAPPENED TO LOW BLOWS?

Low Sperm Count? Maybe it was complained about so WWE dropped it? WWE will need Future Randy Ortons and Little SuperCena Jrs..

You haven't been watching the product very closely, I can tell....

Randy Orton kicked Christian in the nuts at MITB....

Batista low blowed John cena in the Buildup for Wrestlemania 26.....

Plus there have been other occasions.

Low blows have been happening you mad bro ?
HHH returned and kicked Sheamus in the Dick before Wrestlemania with taker.
Last year Batista Low Blowed John Cena...when the moment calls for it, it happens.
You just forgot you saw it.

It is because TNA do it 17 times a night that you think it seems that WWE never do it. When instead they do it the right amount, 'occasionally, when its needed'.

Honestly? This is a thread? Low blows don't really add anything to the product so really who cares? As stated above Christian won the WHC because Orton got DQ'ed by kicking Christian below the belt. That's probably the last memorable blatant low blow. Sure it used to be almost a staple in WWE matches, infact it was one of the biggest downfalls to the Attitude Era. It's a cheap tactic and shows almost zero creativity.

:lmao:

You want people to get kicked in the dick more often. It's like chair shots to the head. If it happens all the time it's nothing special, if it happens rarely its more effective when it does.

Maybe I should just leave this one alone...but what the hell?

I actually do agree that the low blow is a much less-used move in the WWE than it used to be. I have noticed in watching classic matches from way back, this move was used more, usually by a smaller heel against a larger face (or a larger heel in a purely competitive sense, although the deliverer of the move was usually a heel.) I agree that it was probably reduced in frequency to avoid complaints.

That being said, I do think that this move is perhaps a little under-utilized. The match between Christian and Mark Henry which happened recently on Smackdown might have befitted from Christian throwing in a low shot to Mark Henry if only for the crowd reaction it would have gotten. Dolph Ziggler is another wrestler I could see making a little more use of this move against someone like The Great Khali. Del Rio throwing in a low blow on Cena in the upcoming Hell in a Cell match might not be a bad idea either.

Yeah, it's only one move, but it always gets a reaction. I do think it should be used judiciously...but I also don't think it's a move that the WWE should be afraid to use a little more.
