Long story short, My uncle just passed away the other night due to a very unexpected massive heart attack.

I never know what to say when people say to me "Sorry for my loss."

What do you say?

I have been going with Thank you. But I've always thought that it feels weird to have that as a reply during times such as these.

Yeah I would probably say the same as Lee.

Gotta admit I've always found it hard to find out what to say to the guy who actually lost a relative or a friend, I'm bad at comforting words.. I manage sometimes, to my own surprise though.
