What Band Has the Most Songs On Your Ipod?

Getting Noticed By Management
I'm not sure I can explain the point of this thread any clearer than what the "Thread Title" states. Out of all the bands/artists on your ipod which band have you downloaded the most to it (I found that very hard to word for some reason)? Mine would be The Beatles with 83 songs, in second come The Stone Temple Pilots with 29 and The Foo Fighters and The White Stripes close out the third spot with 26 each.

Well for me i've got
Rammstein: 34
my second is actually WWE themes by Jim Johnston: 33
Fozzy: 29

Until about a week ago I had 53 Jason Aldean songs and 40 Reba McEntire songs, I have more songs than my ipod can hold so have to move stuff around depending on what i'm listening to more.

I had to check mine to make sure.

Poets Of The Fall: 12
Dropkick Murphys: 13
Godsmack: 24

Damn, I had no clue I had so much Godsmack. Cool. I guess I heavily favor them. I wonder if there is some personality test out there based on what bands you have on your Ipod, and if it means something to have a lot of "so and so's" music.

I haven't got my iPod close by but having a look in iTunes I'd guess that my highest artist overall is Chamillionaire, with 382 songs and another 17 with him featured in. I really didn't think it was that many haha!

Well I've sold my iPod to my sister so I could get a new one, but the three bands with the most songs were

Red Hot Chili Peppers-145
Nirvana-87
Alice In Chains-75

On my Ipod, the clear winner is Oasis, with 183 songs. I have all their studio albums, all their B-Sides, 2 live albums, a live bootleg and a few demos.

Oasis- 183
2Pac- 101
Alice In Chains- 95
Metallica- 95
Black Label Society- 90
Paul Weller- 87
Ian Brown- 79
Guns N' Roses- 79
Eminem- 70
Kid Rock- 68
Godsmack- 67
Iron Maiden- 66
Stereophonics- 65
Soundgarden- 64
Motorhead- 61
Papa Roach- 55
Stone Temple Pilots- 54

Then alot of bands, such as Rage Against The Machine, The Verve, Silverchair, The Real People, Audioslave, The Stone Roses, New Order and more in the 40's

What if you have a Zune...? :lmao: no I'm just playing. I do have an Ipod, an older generation but it suits me just fine.

Our Lady Peace-115
The Offspring-86
Disturbed-68

Those bands top my list..Ironically enough, not one of them top any of my top 25 played list..My computer has had so many viruses along the way so everything keeps getting deleted so I have to reformat everything back on to my newer computer and start over basically..doing pretty good with my laptop so far though.

On my Ipod, I have one band. On my Itunes, I have many bands. I only have an eight gig Ipod Touch so I keep my one of my favorite band on my ipod while keeping everything else in my Itunes. The band I am referring to is Avenged Sevenfold. I have four of their studio albums, Diamonds in the Rough, and Live in LBC on my Ipod. I just got their song that was released for the Zombie map on COD as well. I bring my ipod with me in the car, so I decided to put the best of the best on there that I can listen to at all times.

Nice, I liek.

Andre Nickatina - 312
The Polish Ambassador - 114
Bassnectar - 106
STS9 - 99
Eliot Lipp - 95
Ratatat -88
King Tubby - 86
Infected Mushroom - 85
Bluetech - 85
Antipop Consortium - 80

Considering I have all my music on my ipod, I just typed in the name of a few groups/artists that I knew I had a lot of music from.

Nickatina easily takes the cake as far as far as who I have the most music by on my ipod, I've got every single one of his albums/ep's that have been released over the years; something like 23 off the top of my head, and I've listened to it all multiple times. It was also nice to see TPA breaking over the 100 song mark on my ipod.

Theres only one band that could hold such a prestigious title on my ipod and thats pearl jam. Currently have 307 pearl jam songs on my ipod. In fairness though at least half of them are off live albums though. Ive still listend to every single Pearl Jam song on my ipod though.

I have an 80gb ipod so i just constantly throw songs on my ipod all the time, id say ive filled about 20gb of it. I dont think im ever going to fill the whole 80gb itl just sit there sullen and underused like a wife who gave up her carear to raise a familly and the kids turned out to be shite!

Without a question this honor goes to Weezer.

I have 154 tracks from Weezer that cover their studio releases, B Sides, UK & Japan release bonus tracks, cover songs, and movie soundtracks.

In addition, I have both Albums released by Weezer frontman, Rivers Cuomo. This is another 43 tracks that should be included because many of the songs were prequils to Weezer tracks.

To be honest, I have no idea what artists round out my top 5 in the Ipod b/c I started listening to The Blue Album and got sidtracked.

The Beatles take my top spot as well because I've got every single one of their albums on my iPod (160GB, thank god) and I can honestly say I listen to them all. Obviously not every day, but when I'm in a certain mood I know which one I want to play.

If we were counting Beatles associated acts, it'd be off the charts as well since I've got most of my boy George Harrison's stuff on there as well as a lot of Macca and Wings- don't laugh.

Then it's Bowie, then Bob Dylan, then Cat Power.

There really is no contest with this. With 41 songs out of 161, my favorite band, Metallica. I have just over half of their albums on there. And to put things into perception, in second place is Foo Fighters and Motorhead with 5. Not kidding.

Pantera with 119. All studio albums, their live album, and a some live versions of songs I'd found via Youtube.

Wow, this is totally what I was gonna say, all the way down to the 160 GB iPod. I just checked, and I have 226 songs of theirs on my iPod. A very close second would be Pink Floyd, who I have 222 songs from. I'm the kind of guy who collects entire discographies and burns through a few albums a day.

Jack Johnson with 36 of 1086.

I don't get entire albums or discographies, I usually get just the songs I like off albums. I've only got an 8GB Ipod and it's pretty much full.

Honouarble mentions:
Dr. Dre with 22
360 with 34
Notorious BIG with 22
Lloyd with 22 (WTF? I downloaded 1 mixtape and haven't listened to it at all lulz)
Eminem with 32
Drake with 18
Bob Marley 29

Alter Bridge- 58 songs out of 58

Enough Said!

Alter Bridge kicks ass!

:lmao:
58 and 161 songs?!
Listen to some music guys, that's sad.

I don't have it handy at the moment, but i'd say easily Hank Williams 3 tops my ipod.

4 Hank Williams 3 Country Albums
1 Arson Anthem Album (w/ Phil Anselmo of pantera)
1 Rebel Meets Rebel Song (Rebel Meets Rebel is Pantera Minus Anselmo plus David Allen Coe)
1 Assjack Album.

so that 6 Albums where Hank Williams 3 is heavily featured plus extra songs

It's between Linkin Park, Metallica, and Creed because I own 4 cd's by each of these bands, which is more than I own by other bands at the moment. So it's definitely one of those three. It used to be Def Leppard, as I at one point owned their entire discography but my once prestigious cd collection shrank from 250 to about 50 a year ago when I needed to sell a bunch for financial reasons.

Well, I do not have an ipod, I use my PSP for my music. And amongst my memory cards, I have 368 metallica songs, Instrumentals, live, demos, albums, b-sides, etc

A close 2nd would be Marilyn Manson, I have 205 of his. With the same perimeters.

Linkin Park - All the Songs xD
I'm addicted!!

and i have random ones...
Akon is probably the second guy with more songs in my ipod xD

Oasis, I seem to have every album they ever made on it, and some unreleased stuff too. After that in second its AC/DC and then Muse. Have a lot of Eminem on it too.
