Mid-Card Championship Winner
Under the old guidelines, a wrestler would have been taken off the road for 30days due to suspension. Also, he would have lost one month's worth of salary. Under the new guidelines, he will continue to work TV and PPV shows, but he will only have his road expenses covered and receive no bonuses for the shows. The only non-change in the new guidelines is that he will have his downside guarantee docked for 30 days.
What does everybody think about this. To me I saw this happening eventually. I mean look at all those guys who were out of the GAB because of it. Is it fair to anybody breaking the rules now, that they can still be on TV and not get paid. Will they even give 100% since they are not being paid, is that being considered? What happens if they have multiple offenses? Will they still be fired after 4 offenses. I think it was fine the way it was being done, yeah a lot of guys were not being seen on TV but that went to show how serious Mcmahon was about it, now it seems like its an inconvenience, so they'll still have their guys come on TV. Now, will they be humilated or depushed, that remains to be seen. IMO if they are going to be on TV they need to be depushed, and made an example out of. I dont say that to an extreme, but enough where the behavior or offense won't be repeated by the individual.
