Predictions:

Aston Villa 2 - 0 West Ham
Middlesbrough 1 - 1 Fulham
Portsmouth 2 - 2 Bolton
Stoke 2 - 1 Blackburn
Sunderland 2 - 0 Hull

I will go with your results, except Boro will pick up the win against Fulham. They turned a corner last week, and Fulham aren't the greatest away.

Also, in the big game of the day, Arsenal will beat Chelsea after extra time.

Whilst the general consenus is that Spurs will beat Newcastle, we always do well down there, so whilst I am seeing a spurs win, they won't keep a clean sheet. 2-1 Spuds.

In regards to the rest of the season, I did a predictor the other day on BBC sport, Liverpool nick the title on goal difference, and all three north east teams stay up. I was surprised when I saw the results, but Pompey and Hull will go down on goal difference, Boro and Newcastle survive by the skin of their teeth. If that happens, this next month will be thrilling stuff to watch.

And villa are 1-0 up against west ham, EMile Heskey.

Newcastle 0 - 1 Portsmouth

Nottingham Forest have Blackpool away, Which i'm optimistic about, As we have both Robert Earnshaw, And Nathan Tyson back from injury. If we can pull a result here, We will need 1 point for safety, Which will be a big relief, As we haven't really played bad this season, It's just the goal's we let in.

A Stoke away win? No chance. No Higginbottom or Beattie. Fuller will probably be sulking for some reason and Pulis will put on Cresswell instead of Camara.

Fulham don't lose at home, Stoke don't win away prim.

Wins for Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, United, Cheslsea, Arsenal, Blackburn and Newcastle. Other two draws.

People forget that there are only two teams this season that have kept a clean sheet at SJP...Chelsea and Everton. The chances of portsmouth winning 1-0 are very slim.

People don't really remember facts about other teams. I didn't know that, just like I could give you some Stoke facts you don't know about this season.

Aston Villa 2 - 1 Hull

I don't don't bet money on football btw.

Well you've got your first one spot on. It was like watching men play against kids that game. I agree with your outcomes mostly, but just to be different I will go with Wigan to beat Bolton and Everton to beat Sunderland

Missed most of that match, I kept falling asleep. I was hoping for a Boro win. It would've kept it intresting at the top & bottom.

I still facy Boro to stay up. Purely because I don't see Newcastle or Hull winning another game.

I don't see Hull winning either, which leaves it between Boro, Newcastle and Sunderland for the last spot. You have to think Sunderland should stay up now, so it will all be on next Monday's Tyne-Tees derby at St. James. Unless Newcastle go to Anfield tomorrow and win of course and end the title race which, for some strange reason, I cannot see happening.

Yeah I really don't either.

I can only see Hull picking up points against Stoke & Bolton, but I don't see any wins. Same for Newcastle, but I do think Boro will draw with Newcastle & Villa as well as a win on the last day of the season.

Hull against Villa is a huge match. Villa can't buy a win, and if there's ever a chance for Hull to pull something out of the bag, this is it.

As a Liverpool fan, it pains me to say it, but I think the title race is over already, regardless of Liverpool beating Newcastle tomorrow.

Boro are shite, and I'd be genuinely shocked if they didn't go down. Basically out of Newcastle and Hull, as far as I can see.

With the title race, it is not all over yet. Liverpool should in all their games left, pretty comfortably too. United have City to play who certainly won't roll over and die, and Arsenal, who could well be looking for revenge in the champions league.

If, and I know it is a massive if, United lose both of the games, you nick it on goal difference. I can certainly see Arsenal doing them, and City maybe getting a point. They should dispatch of Wigan though, then it would be a tense last game at Hull who will need to win to stay up by my calculations.

As for the bottom, Sunderland and Hull need a result this weekend, if they do they can doom Boro and Newcastle, if not the winner of the tyne tees derby will catch them.

Finally, seventh place will give a place in the old uefa cup they have renamed, and at the moment one point separates City, Fulham, West Ham and Spurs. It is remarkable that Spurs can achieve European qualification after such a piss poor start to the season.

Edit: How good were Barcelona? Granted they won't score six past a Chelsea side that know what a defence is for, but it was impressive nontheless.

Ah the business end of the season. Also known as spend all day in the pub drinking and swearing when your accumulator fails.

Today's results:
Man United 1-1 Arsenal

then the big ones (aka the money ones, scores aren't important just the results)
Bolton 1-0 Hull
Everton 2-1 West ham
'Boro 2-2 Aston Villa
Newcastle 3-2 Fulham
Stoke 1-0 Wigan
Tottenham 2-1 Man City

Sunday:
Chelsea 3-0 Blackburn
WBA 1-4 Liverpool

Bolton 1 - 1 Hull
Everton 2 - 2 West Ham
Man Utd 0 - 1 Arsenal
Middlesbrough 1 - 1 Aston Villa
Newcastle 1 - 1 Fulham
Stoke 2 - 1 Wigan
Tottenham 2 - 2 Man City

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sunday, 17 May 2009

Chelsea 2 - 0 Blackburn
West Brom 0 - 2 Liverpool

Monday, 18 May 2009

Portsmouth 1 - 1 Sunderland

Fucking Newcastle and Bolton. How hard is it to beat Hull and Fulham when you're at home! ***** prevented me winning £100.

United vs Arsenal was dull. Very dull. Draw was fair, and United worthy winners in my eyes.

Not in Benitez's eyes though. Are United the best team?

Rafa Benitez said:
It just means they have more points. There are some very good teams in different positions in the table. To say who is the best in one moment is not easy.

Having more points makes them the better team you prick. He hasn't half lost all the respect for him I had a year ago. Maybe he should concentrate on beating teams like Stoke and Boro and not on talking shit.

Benitez is a worse sore loser than Ferguson, and that's really saying something. His method for winning the league, which worked in Spain was to beat the big teams. Liverpool ended the season with three draws and three wins against the big four, Man Utd ended up with a win, two draws and 3 losses. Looks like you were wrong Rafa.

I'm hoping for Brom escape now.

Not possible.

We're going down, which is a bit of a shame, but meh we've been shit for the past four years. Though it'll be an innteresting last day of the season, I think Shearer summed it up when he said "It wouldn't fit in with newcastles season if we finished it off with a game to go!"
