Who thought that the Weapons or Escape 4 Corners Match was to short?

It could have been better and longer.

It was stupid. The whole concept makes no sense whatsoever. Does this mean that Rhino cant use a chair, or Christian cant take his key and open the cage door. It was a waste of time and Russo did what he always says is the problem with creative. Booking wrestling is not rocket science, you dont need to overthink things and complicate them, which is what he has been doing. You dont need gimmick matches every week - which in defence of Russo was happening way before he was brought back in. Maybe this is a Jarrett contribution. You dont need to add stipulations and muddy outcomes and wahtever the fuck they were going for. The Rhino, Christian thing should have been simple. An unofficial 10 minute brawl all around the arena, with chairs, tables, big falls, fights in the crowd, ladders, chains, thumbtacks. And there would be no need for a victor coz its just a brawl. Here they had a match where there is no winner, it was pointless, and so on and so on.

They just need to take the foot of the pedal a bit and simplify what they are doing. Another major problem is the matches. 4 matches in 42 minutes of Impact! is too much. And putting Bobby over Chris Daniles is wrong. And not having Samoa Joe open the night with an in-ring segment is wrong. And having the James Gang comes out and basically say nothing is wrong. And not having AMW or the LAX (perhaps the hottest commodity in wrestling today) is worng. Its all these little itty-bitty things that are holding TNA back from creating a compelling story and entertaining product.

The problem with the matches is they are just to dang short. Lengthen them out, that's why WWE is so great their matches are lengthy and exciting.

Who thought that the Weapons or Escape 4 Corners Match was to short?

It could have been better and longer.

It wasn't really a match in my eyes. In my eyes, it was just a segment to hype up the match for the primetime debut. And it did just that. Besides, that was an awesome episode of impact. Daniels v. Roode was a great match as I always anticipated it would be. Styles and Sabin was short, but still solid. Truth and Hoyt was just sloppy and not pretty to watch.

It was an unsuccessful idea for a "match". I wasn't really like, "holy hell! he's got a massive advantage now due to attaining the straight jacket." quite frankly, I didn't give a damn. Regardless of what they got, it wouldn't effect the outcome of the match really. It was pointless and built up no drama whatsoever
