The idea I had when they brought ECW back was that they should've totally redid the Draft Lottery, and change Raw to WWE, keep ECW, and turn SmackDown! into WCW. Treat them as completely seperate brands. Raw has all of the WWE's Title, and SmackDown! has all of WCW's already (except the WWE Tag Titles, but they could switch them both around). I think that would've been gold.

As for a WCW One Night Stand, I think that would be pretty cool. I know Vince wouldn't go for it though, because he HATED WCW.

I dont think there is the demand for a WCW show like there was with ECW. If they decided to do it they would have to do it soon. The main star's Hogan, Flair, Nash, Sting etc. are'nt getting any younger. And the like's of Chavo Guerrero and Gregory Helms were around when WCW was the shit's. It would be worth watching but It would'nt be a great show.

Because when everyone first thought there was gonna be a ECW show, they thought it was gonna be something LIKE the original ECW, Which, was different, alot different, calling smackdown wcw, really wouldnt do much, because wcw was kind of the same as WWE, and if WWE is running it, it would be the same pretty much.

ECW was supposed to be extreem rules all the time and shit, but they changed it and made it almost exactly like wwe all the other wwe shows.

so a WCW wouldnt work

i don't believe it is that much different, it just had different wrestlers. I thought they were both pretty similar back in the day.

Anyway, it's not like there's a big demand for a WCW reunion, the wrestlrs and fans didn't have as much loyalty to the brand as ECW, it's a completely different thing. So a WCW one night stand would be a bad move in my opinion.

What would be the point of WCW one night stand. The majority of the talent in WWE the were in WCW probably wouldnt b for a WCW 1ns. I think it wouldnt work and tht ppl like Beniot, Chavo and Regal couldnt care less bout WCW. I mean wat would be the main event. Wat would be the undercard. ECW 1ns worked becouse there were alot of talent tht actually cared bout ECW and wanted it to work, they felt they owed it to ECW for makin them to an extent wat they r. I liked the competition tht WCW had, i liked some of the storylines and some of the wrestling and i do wish it was still here, but if WWE were to do this, they would completly crap all over it and make it into a joke and plus it is dead, let it lay there and jst remember some of the good things that happened.

Eh i dont think this should happen. You saw what happened with ECW when the fans wanted a ONS for them. It would just to turn into some crap. Besides, i doubt they have enough money for it. Then, all the old WCW superstars are dead or in TNA. I think TNA could do it but money is a huge problem when it comes to making a second brand. I think they need to have more money and more publicity. WWE can't do that anytime soon though.

I don't think it would work very well. One of the main guys they would have to have, Sting, is in TNA. Same with Nash. Hall is nowhere to be found and Hogan probably couldn't give two shits less about WCW. Flair would do it I'd say but who else? Basically they couldn't do it unless they had these guys do it:

WCW is a ship that sailed long ago, and WWE was what cast it off. Instead of doing the smart thing and taking Smackdown off the air and renaming it WCW Nitro, they sat around thinking about what to do and pissed away all the potential for a WCW revival with one of the most horribly executed mega-angles in history. Vince wanted it dead and lo and behold, down it went. He only wanted some of the talent, and most importantly the video library (which he now uses to fuel his skewered documentaries and 24 channel). WCW did have some top talent, but most of it is either watered down and still around, or is too old to do anything of significance. I say a big, emphatic no. I'd hate to watch McMahon tarnish another company's name like with ECW. Now I know the first response to this would be that "WCW already sucked when it went under" which is true. However, I'd be willing to bet he'd find a way to make it worse.

Another thing I thought of was, why would Vince want to lose a brand he had created, and resurrect one he forced out of business. I don't think his ego would allow it, it was possibly his greatest achievement, winning the monday night wars, and I think he'd rather WCW stayed dead and buried.

yep i agree with Jeremy Dick.. i think bringing ECW as a regular program, was not a good idea.. Raw & Smackdown, Heat & Velocity was all they needed.. ECW will never be the real ECW... with no Dudleys, no Rhino, no Extreme Rules except for here and there.. it's not the same, and its meaningless to resurrect what was such an incredible company now turn it into a 3rd Rate show behind Smackdown and Raw was really selfish.. ECW One Night Stand should've been a One Night Stand...

as for WCW...One Night Stand.. in my dreams id love it... but the names like Goldberg, Sting, Jeff Jarrett, Big Show (Giant), Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Macho Man & Konnan would not come back for it TNA/Retired/Left.. Bret Hart won't ever work for McMahon! Eddie Guerrero, Curt Hennig and Bam Bam Bigelow have passed away...Scott Steiner, Ric Steiner,Lex Luger & Buff Bagwell wouldn't go back for it...They cut Juventud Guerrera & Psicosis,You couldn't do an NWO, or a NWO Wolfpac or a 4 Horsemen or an LWO (haha worst faction ever) so what WCW stars would be left?

this is exactly how i felt when the whole draft thing happend the first time around with the whole brand extension. and instead of the 3 brands now why didnt they just keep the RAW brand the WWE and still have the show called monday night raw,smackdown of course WCW because it so much reminds me of WCW obviously with the titles,and then of course ECW which hasnt changed except for the crap there showing now.

But then again as some of you have stated which i agree with,since Vince bought wcw he wanted to bury it and never have to hear of it again.
How about that first month after WCW was bought they showed wcw matches on wwe television,called it wcw and had bobby heenan and arn anderson do commentary.hell that would of been cool enough for me if they would of kept it like that,split monday night raw into a seperate hour for each brand, but no they had to make WCW into a crap stable back then along with ECW and make it a crap invasion angle. its all dumb i dont even know why i complain. i jsut needed to ramble a little bit.haha. i just really miss WCW and good wrestling

Due to the age and condation of most of them for example.Booker T would be ok against Benoit however they been in WWE so long now it would feel like a WWE fight. Nash Hall are in no shape to wrestler Scott steiner and Sting are in TNA. DDP said he would not wrestler for them any more the Wall has retired and most of the lower card wrestlers have droped from the face of earth I wanted this 3 years ago now it would not bring in any money thats wgy there are no WCW DVD's released as they feel the will not sell.
