Watchmen

Did you just claim that the characters in TDK were more complex and deep? You literally learn absolutely nothing about the Joker in that film, not one iota of background or character development.

That was kinda the point though, he was an engima the likes of which randomly just...shows up.

That may have been the point of the Joker, but it certainly wasn't the point of that poster's argument.

I dunno. I thought Batman showed development, and most characters had a good amount of depth added on to them. The biggest blight on the film in my opinion was just the actor chosen to play Rachel, or the fact she was actually so prominent. Either or would have worked.

I wouldn't say Ozymandias is that much of a prominent character in the novel at all. He doesn't really come into it until the very end.

Am I the only one that didn't notice the big blue penis? I mean, I knew it was there but I didn't feel compelled to stared at it whenever it was on screen. I was too busy watching the movie.

agreed with both Sam and Doc.

THough I was annoyed they showed you him at the beginning attacking the comedian.

It's wasn't nearly as prominent as people are making it out to be, people on her make it sound as if every danm scene in a nearly 3 hr. long movie featured Manhattens blue cock whe in fact it may be on screen for all or what? 2 mins. maybe?, I really only noticed it the first time I saw the movie, I was ...the fuck!?, then continued to enjoy the rest of the movie, the 2-3 times I've seen the movie since I've hardly even noticed it, the fact that it bugs sooo many people kinda says a lot about some of the posters on this site though, if it bugs you so much then stop staring at his crotch when he's a screen

So I ended up buying Watchmen tonight. Watching it now. Just about fell out of my chair when "human bean juice" was said.
