With all the talk about the botched ending in last week's Mickie James/Gail KIm match and the reports of Micki being yelled at afterwards I was curious if anyone things her being pinned cleanly by Alicia Foxx this week a form of punishment? If she had been pinned by Beth Phoenix I would have thought nothing of it but Alicia Foxx? AF is not on the level of MJ and it got me thinking. What does everyone else think?

I really don't think so. Just because somebody jobs a week after a report which might not even be true, there's no need to think they're in the dog house. If you noticed, about a month ago, the way Alicia pinned Mickie, is the exact same way Maryse pinned her as well (slammed into the ring post and a finisher) - where WWE 'reportedly' pissed off with her then? Nope. Mickie has been pinned alot, and it just seems WWE might be pushing Alicia because there's nobody else for Mickie to feud with. Mickie and Gail had their chance, and Gail is a face (though I would like to see them go at it again), and the Mickie/Beth feud has been done to death - as well as that, Melina also got pinned clean by Layla, whilst she was champion if my memory serves correct, and management wasn't pissed off with her then either. Take a look back at last year, Mickie was pinned clean by Katie a few times in tag matches, and there where certainly no reports about punishing her then. I think it's probably just a way of putting new talent over.

I watched that match on Raw, and I was a bit surprised to see Alicia Fox getting the pin on Mickie James. I was wondering the reasoning behind that, but now that you mention last week's incident, I think to myself... it might be possible. I looked at Alicia Fox as the least talented person in that match and for her to get the clean pin on the Divas Champion will give her a lot to gloat about. If Beth Phoenix got the win on Mickie, that wouldn't surprise me as she's done it many times in the past, and even Rosa Mendes, who has a professional fighting background that WWE fails to show would be better candidates to pin the champ. But, you can't win every match and you can't always lose to someone who is better than you.
I think is was punishment. I mean Gail couldn't get up to save her life last week. That kick really messed her up and Mickie had no right to get all upset. She needs to be more careful. I don't know if Alicia Fox was the best idea to be the one to pin her, but I guess that was what was meant to be!

I doubt that Mickie was punished in the first place, and secondly if she was, they wouldnt do it by making her lose to Alicia Fox. Whether or not you like Alicia Fox, the girl is improving her in ring work all the time, and maybe creative was tired of typical story line fueds, and decided to let Alicia to get the pin on Ms James to boost her status and hopefully, begin a NEW divas fued. I love Mickie James, and thats just my opinion.

The reports following the Mickie James/Gail Kim botch may be true where Mickie James did get told off about acting unprofessional from the match, however this would not have been cause to the heel divas picking up the win due to Alicia pinning Mickie.
Mickie James is the veteran of the womens division who is being put in the position alongside Christian, Undertaker, William Regal & others to help put the new or inexperienced talent over. From the 6 diva tag match on RAW, this is exactly what she was doing... giving someone who has potential the rub. I mean, you have Gail Kim & Mickie James, two great female wrestlers on one team alongside Kelly who is coming along quite nicely in the E against the powerhouse Beth Phoenix & errr... two newbies Rosa & Alicia. Giving the heel team the victory helps boost the girls of the division as the feud of Kim/James may still go ahead.

I actually believe Alicia Fox got the win because Mayweather was hosting. So he was simply puting all the "brothas" and "sistas" over on Raw, nah mean? (I'm black, so I can say that >_>)
