Was A Classic Moment Made on IMPACT?

Yeah, bringing Cena and JBL up on here as any kind of classic match is just stupid. If you think any match they had was classic, you need recheck your knowledge of wrestling history.

Im pretty sure he was being sarcastic.

Look...Im tired of anything TNA does, fans come out and say "that was awesome" or "that was the best moment" or my favorite "that was better than anything WWE does"

The fact is, TNA is NOT on the level yet of WWE. WCW was, but look how long it took them to get there. Im all for competition...but this is justt sad. Comparing TNA and WWE is like comparing apples and oranges...it can't be done.

Until TNA gets better storylines and gets someone who didn't run a previous company into the ground, they will be nothing.

A GREAT moment from last night was Sting with Hogan. The things he said, as scripted as it was, were REAL! "Think about your legacy Terry."

Dude...can we stop comparing the 2. Some people like Impact...others prefer the "E"...Let's leave it like that and stop being part of the I hate on this show, but I hate on this show league.

I wasn't comparing either. In fact if you go back and look at an earlier post from me, I said that "comparing both companies against each other is like comparing apples and oranges.'

All I was trying to say was that TNA needs that IT factor that is really going to put them in the spotlight. Bischoff found it with WCW...it can be done. They just haven't been able to do that yet. They tried.

Sad part is, the days of just "buying" guys are gone with the 90-day no compete clause. Back in the day WCW rose up because they were picking WWF guys up right from under Vince. They cant do that now unless a wrestlers contract is up and they dont resign with said company. Punk can do that in September when he is done, Jericho could've done that when he left. The issue is, guys are so burned out from wrestling that they dont want to go to another company right away. They want to be with family and pursue other interests.

TNA tried to bring in Chyna...10 years too late. She was relevant to SOME of their audience.

Here is the deal...the IT factor TNA could use is Punk. Come September, Punk walks away from WWE and joins TNA the next night and they let him be the heel he can be. BAM!!!! IT FACTOR!!!!!

TNA NEEDS to stop trying to get guys that were relevant 5-10 years ago or ones that were not. Just because they were in WWE doesn't mean they will work in TNA. Hell, they tried with Jeff Hardy and basically ignored his problems and look how THAT turned out.

I dont hate TNA. I want them to succeed. I miss competition. But TNA has GOT to sit down and figure out what they want to be. They started unique and fresh...now they are getting stale. They are either TNA or Impact Wrestling. They need to stop trying to take little shots at WWE.

To each his own I guess. I actually thought the brawl looked really fake. I watched it with a couple of buddies and they agreed. I think TNA should have made it a street fight or some type of hardcore match.

I did finally watch the "match", and thought it was well driven story wise and I did enjoy the filming of it. There were parts where it was evident it was fake, but there were parts that did look more real. Overall I liked it, especially due to the rough play by play from the roster. It gave it the feel of a high school fight, or a "Outsiders" touch, as in the movie not Hall/Nash.

I thought it was one of the more realistic looking fights I've seen on a wrestling show in a long time, and the way it was shot with the other wrestlers gathered around rooting for one or the other, and no ref around just two guys going at it made it seem like a real fight to me. Yeah it had its spots where you could tell they took it easy but they have to protect each other, what do you expect? I actually cant wait to see how JJ weasels his way back onto TNA tv.

This fight made me think of Rocky V when they are fighting outside, the way Kurt stand back after the skull crushing finisher of Jarrett that I can't remember the name right now. The fight was really good and it was one of the best fighting segment TNA did.

I also like that Jarrett won a title in Mexico in AAA will they really push the storyline by having Jarrett now in Mexico and being a champion there for a while. If so they really stroke lightning in a bottle and I can't wait to see more of it.

Was the the parking lot brawl a thing of beauty? No, probably not. I think people are missing the purpose of it though. This feud between Jarrett and Angle, whether you liked it or not, was put to bed on free tv for everybody to see and observe. I personally loved every moment of this feud. This was the ending of the feud and it left no doubts about it. I loved the fact that Jarrett cutting the promo earlier in the night saying "our relationship began in a parking lot with a handshake and its going to end in a parking lot with a fight". Entertaining stuff in my opinion. Now of course we're going to hear from the lowlifes of the IWC ripping TNA apart for this (or anything they do for that matter). It is come to be expected. Just let the little assholes have their little fun on message boards and dirt sheets. As a matter of fact, if the IWC is bitching about something, it probably means the opposite that is being done is the correct thing to do for a wrestling company
